SHEIKH AHMED GUMI AGAIN!

Pres. Muhammadu Buhari                  Boko Haram Warrior (Jihadist)                    Sheikh Ahmed Gumi

Honestly, it can never come as a surprise to my reasoning faculty to be informed of Sheikh Gumi’s latest sermonic vociferation of, “Don’t vote for those who will fight bandits. The fighters (bandits) are our people. So please vote for those who, after attaining power, will call and negotiate with our people (bandits) so as to give them what they want for peace to reign,” (‘DAILY POST’ publication on December 26, 2022 – By Seun Opejobi).

Ah! Is it not clear that Gumi is a terrorizing bandit if this publication is true?

“Legit,” another publishing company on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 10:28 AM, by Nkem Ikeke reported Gumi’s sermon, telling his Northern Nigerian audience, “Don’t vote for those who will fight bandits. The fighters are our warriors in the forest…our people in the forest.” You may not be aware of it, but I understand what Gumi means by “The fighters are our warriors.”

The Book of John chapter 3 of the third verse is an emphatic soteriological facticity: “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Christians are spiritual warriors of God’s Kingdom. We preach salvation with this verse: the words of which are direct revelation from the divine lips of Jesus Christ to Nicodemus. Christianity fights to bring converts into the flock: the body of Christ, by explaining the gospel i.e. (good news) of salvation to all mankind. But that, definitely, is not so of Islam, viciously different from the biblical, “(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)” of 2Corinthians 10:4. The meaning of “not carnal” is that the weapons of our warfare are not the type of earthly lethal sword use of Pauline age, which happened – centuries later – to be the adoption of Islamism. ‘Not carnal’ is certainly not the combustible spitting of bullets of modern day war, making Fulani herdsmen most dangerous AK-47 marauding jihadists.

Gumi knows the hideouts of the notorious Fulani herdsmen

Jesus explains what takes one to heaven in Mark 12:28-31 28) “And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all? 29) And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: 30) And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31) And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.” If one should have to love God with all his heart, soul, mind and thought, what has he got left to pursue other interests? This is the way of the Christian.

Centuries later, faced with similar question, Sahih al-Bukhari, Hajj (Pilgrimage); Book 25, Hadith 7 reads thus: “Narrated ‘Abu Huraira: The Prophet (pbuh) was asked, “Which is the best deed?” He said, “To believe in Allah and His Apostle.” He was then asked, “Which is the next (in goodness)?” He said, “To participate in Jihad in Allah’s Cause.” He was then asked, “Which is the next?” He said, “To perform Hajj-Mabrur.” Methinks Jesus, according to Qur’an, is the Word of God. How come Jesus and Muhammad have different views concerning Adamic entrance into heaven?

Who is seated to the left of Sheik Gumi? A valuable jihadist warrior.

What makes Sheikh Gumi’s people, the fighters, as their warriors is easily traced to the protocolary of Muhammadan warfare of jihadism. The protocol says, “Fight against those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth [i.e. Islam] from those who were given the Scripture – [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled” (Qur’an 9:29). Fighters of any cause are warriors, indubitably. Gumi is simply advocating for the legality of Boko Haram, ISWAP, atrocities of Fulani herdsmen and the inhuman abductions of people for ransom that has, all these years of this qur’anic cruelty, enriched in billions, If not a trillion naira in the treasury of Gumi’s jihadism.

Lai Muhammed, the Information Minister, will not see this as ‘hate,’ or better still, ‘wicked’ speech. His master, the President, Muhammadu Buhari, sees absolutely nothing wrong with Gumi’s advocacy. Why? Simple. Muhammadu Buhari is another Sir Ahmadu Bello, the Sardauna of Sokoto, the father of modern day politics of Northern Nigeria, who charged his people of Islamic fundamentalism in October 12th, 1960, “The new nation called Nigeria should be an estate of our grandfather, Othman dan Fodio. We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power. We must use the minorities of the North as willing tools and South as conquered territories and never allow their future.”

Sheikh Gumi has the ears of Atiku Abubakar, former Vice President and Presidential candidate of PDP.

Ahmadu Bello was only following the political ideology of Usman Dan Fodio who wrote: “The government of a country is the government of its king without question. If the king is a Muslim, his land is Muslim; if he is an unbeliever, his land is a land of unbelievers. In these circumstances it is obligatory for anyone to leave it for another country.”  Sheikh Gumi is assiduously doing the bidding of the Northern oligarchy, with the spiritual backing of the protocolary of the Qur’an. I have explained this topic well enough in my post titled: JIHADISM MUST CONTINUE TO THRIVE (1) https://hoojewale.com/2022/10/11/jihadism-must-continue-to-thrive-1/.

The jizya of Qur’an 9:29 is ‘ransom money’; and the ‘people of the Scripture’ are Jews and Christians. In saner democratic climes, Gumi should be behind bars, feeding the State security agencies with all he knows, especially those supplying him with what engenders the confidence of his boldacity. In Nigeria of Buhari’s presidential authority, this justice will never happen! Nigeria as a country, erroneously, in their minds, is Allah’s Islamic State!

But I know who the Bible calls the Governor of the nations! He is JESUS CHRIST.

Bandits can be won over by showing them respect and understanding, says controversial Islamic cleric Ahmad Gumi. The Islamic cleric said if the bandits are given a listening ear, their resolve would be softened and would become more amenable and abandon their violent ways.

My prayer: “Let the Almighty force of celestial Rainbow Administration fight for our freedom. Amen.”

You can be part of the winning Christianity of Jesus Christ. Get born again by saying this sinners’ prayer:

“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”

BLOOD THAT SPEAKETH BETTER THINGS (1)

His divine blood speaks better things than that of Abel

1)            Two people had blood running through their veins. They both lived on planet earth. Each one of them – offending not the adversary – maliciously had the issue of the running scarlet fluid of earthly existence stopped functioning, cutting off the source of life. Both had to lift up a voice of prayer to the Author of creationism. The first to die on planet earth was murdered in cold blood by his own brother, when humans were a handful few. “Avenge my untimely demise [Genesis 4:10],” he ceaselessly voiced in solicitation to the Most High. It was not in consonance with the intent of Jehovah: to treat His offending Adamic creatures with any dose of malevolence. The Second is the Last Adam, and when faced with the irrationality of man’s proclivity cried out, in favour of His assailants, “Father forgive them, for they know not what they do” [Luke 23:34].

Abel made his antediluvian appeal from the proclivious stance of carnality. Jesus Christ, on the other hand, went into the nobility of deep calleth unto the empyreal deep, accentuating the eternal depth of Jehovah’s seat of mercy.

“…the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground” (Gen 4:10).

Many people would see the ‘blood of Jesus speaking better things than that of Abel’ looking at the Adamic soul from the account of Genesis 4:9-10 “And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper? 10) And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground.” The Adamic creature, having been forced to experience the stark harshness of cruelty, has totally been rendered an egregious vindictiveness.

A dislimned soul finds it almost impossible to remain rational owing to torturous confrontation with a sullied phenomenality of nature. Overwhelmed with excruciating grief over the loss of a very promising life of Godliness, cut short by the flagitious madness of a Cain whose continued existence is inglorious before the LORD God, Abel could not hold, in suppression, his angst against the injustice meted out on him, the third man of Adamic creation. “Lord, how could my life be sniffed out at the prime of my earthly days?” Abel kept asking the Creator. “Avenge this murderous perpetuation of Satanism,” that was the plea of Abel. Was Abel not justified in his adjudicatory pursuit? Certainly, he was right, very right in asking for divine adjudication. What the word of God says is: “that speaketh better things than that of Abel.” In comparative sense, Abel’s blood is good, while that of Jesus is ‘better’.

The beseeching philippic of the pour from the lips of Abel was not, in any way, evil. He was totally consumed by a visceral conviction of Cain’s guilt. It is, to Abel, rationally tenable. Cain was too blinded by wickedness to see his crime standing in judgment before God. Satanically, he could not care at all. In His infinite mercy, God would not apply Adamic irrationality. “And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel” (Hebrews 12:24). The word ‘speaketh’ laleō (lal-eh’-o), means: ‘To utter a voice or emit a sound; To utter articulate sounds.’ If it is important for God to be merciful to mankind, it was then needful for Him to make a vocalization, out of His eternal heart of mercy, hence, ‘better things’ which in Greek is kreittōn (krite’-tohn): ‘more useful; more serviceable; more advantageous; more excellent.’

The blood that held the life essence of Abel demanded a vengeful justice. He was not wrong in his appealing philippic. Abel simply did not draw his visceral drive from the heart of God’s mercy. This is the reason why God would not use someone like Abel to make the soteriological covenant. Noah, whose righteousness saved fallen man from annihilation, was not good enough to take on mediatorial role for mankind. Not Moses, Samuel, David Paul, John or Peter could successfully assume the role of the Mediator between God and man. Only Jesus can save. Jesus as the Christ made the Old Testamentary covenant. Only the Initiator of the first covenant could have told them in Mark 14:24 “And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.” While Abel was eyes and heart fixed on “the soul that sinneth, it shall die” of Ezekiel 18:4, Jesus Christ, the Author of salvation was decided on Matthew 11:28 “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

Looking at Hebrews 12:24 contextually, it is the sacrifice of Abel which appealed to the Divinity that spoke words of agreement to the mind of God, this Pauline script is actually the didacticism. Abel’s sacrifice was accepted by the divine nostrils of the One which is, and which was, and which is to come. It was only good for that material time of its performance. It did just remit the shortcoming of Abel’s error for that time only. It could not even rectify his brother, Cain’s, aberrant use of the wrong element of sacrifice. Abel’s shedding of the lamb’s blood was good for remission of sin. It brought peace, from God, back to otherwise lost soul. But in comparison, the shed blood of the Golgotha from the earthly body of Jesus Christ cleansed Adam of the original sin. The superiority of the divine blood of Jesus washed away as many as would come to Him for salvation.

Getting born again is a conscious effort on the part of an individual. Get born again. Say this sinner’s prayer.

Amen!”

8)            In conclusion I must remind you of theological truths.

In the new creation of the Church engenderment, the earnest of the Holy Spirit proves that God puts all He has in the soteriological culmination. Ephesians 1:19-23 19) “And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20) Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21) Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22) And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, 23) Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.”

God used His Almighty power to deal with sin

God used all His resources, so to speak, to actuate the regeneration of Adam. The LORD God used money, exchange for business transactions; He also used His ‘entire’ power for the procurement of man’s salvation. The Greek for ‘exceeding’ is huperballō (hoop-er-bal’-lo): ‘To surpass in throwing, to throw over or beyond any thing; To transcend, exceed.’ The next word ‘greatness,‘ megethos (meg’-eth-os), is: ‘magnitude.’ Put huperballō megethos together and what it says is: “target any distance in your wildest imagination and huperballō megethos surpasses it, far, by the farthest distance beyond all imaginations. Think of the most annihilating intercontinental ballistic missiles, it cannot match the power of huperballō megethos – the Almighty power. Four translations of power describes the displayed power that saved us from the hell, meant for Lucifer, his counterpart fallen angels and demons.

The first couched ‘power’ from verse 19 is dunamis (doo’-nam-is): ‘Strength; inherent ability; force (literally or figuratively), latent power; specifically miraculous power (usually by implication a miracle itself).’ The word ‘working’ is energeia (en-erg’-i-ah): ‘efficiency of energy.’ ‘Mighty’ is ischus (is-khoos’): ‘Ability, forcefulness, strength, might – it comes to visibility when act of throwing, lifting, pushing or crushing is needed.’ The second ‘power’, kratos (krat’-os), is ‘vigor’ – easily manifested on men of immense strength. Why would God bother Himself to exercise these shows of incalculable power if the recipient of the grace of salvation stands to lose it?

Do verses 22 and 23 say categorically that Jesus is the Head of the Church and does it reveal that the Church is His mystical body? Did I not explain clearly that the saved soul is the full responsibility of the Godhead? If the Church is His mystical body, does it not behove God to do the Jude verse one needful?  “…to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:” (Jude 1:1). The Father “purifies” for salvation. Jesus Christ is the divine refrigerator that continues in “preserving the regenerate Christian from injury, rottenness and loss,” because that is what the Greek word for ‘preserved’, tēreō (tay-reh’-o) means.

Through the inspired energy of the Holy Spirit, the gospel becomes meaningful; the “call” is made and what does the Father-sanctified and Christ-preserved do? Led by the Holy Spirit the utterance of the prayer of salvation is made from the heart, you get born again and the Trinity takes over the purchased life, and your new life becomes the full responsibility of God; how can it be lost? Has God ever lost anything He truly wants for Himself? Selah!

That which receives the salvation is the spirit of the recipient. As human beings, we must take care of this earthly body by washing it daily. The spiritual aspect of individual’s human tripartite nature does not enter any bathroom for cleansing preservation. God, the Owner of the redeemed, continually does the preservation. Clearly, from the Scriptures above, the Christian is part of the body of Christ. The body of Christ is divinely owned; who looks after it? The Owner, God Almighty, continues to employ His insuperable dunamis, energeia, ischus and kratos to preserve the peculiarity of the Christian’s life – His own body. The Christian is truly blessed to be saved by the grace actuated design of the Author of soteriology. Amen.

7)            Let us gothrough some theological facts.

Does it make an availability of essence in our thinking prowess that the safety of the truly born again Christian becomes, immediately, the personal responsibility of God? Why would God make the divine promise of, “And I will give you rest” of Matthew 11:29? Does it not occur to our understanding that ‘rest’ in this verse is anapauō (an-ap-ow’-o), which means: ‘To cause or permit one to cease from any movement or labour in order to recover and collect his strength; To give rest, refresh, to give one’s self rest, take rest; To keep quiet, of calm and patient expectation’? Anapauō comes from ana (an-ah’): ‘Into the midst, in the midst, among, between’ and pauō (pow’-o): ‘To make to cease or desist; To restrain a thing or person from something; To cease, to leave off; Have got release from sin; No longer stirred by its incitements and seductions.’

Get born again: Solution the sin question.

Anapauō is divine solution to the sin question. Check out every scriptural pointer to the soteriology, it contains not any string of: ‘do’, ‘do not’ or ‘if you do not’. The only scripture I know of, with an attachment of a serious and huge string is found in John 3:3, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” The attached string, ‘except’, which is ean mē (eh-an’ may): ‘if not, unless, whoever … not;’ makes a categorical, “unless you accept Jesus as Lord and Saivour, there is no salvation. This is the most incontrovertible fact of Scripture – no Jesus, definitely, there is no salvation. This exception is quite different from the 5th Article of The Remonstrance, “unless you continue to persevere” – with works of Adamic toil – one stands to lose the salvation, inspired by Jacobo Arminius.

Five negatives intended to strengthen Divine promise are the employment of Pauline writing of “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee” (Hebrews 13:5); where ‘never’ is ou me (ou mee’): ‘a double negative strengthening the denial, “not at all.” The word ‘nor’ is oude (ou-d̮e’): ‘not however’ and ou me of the above. ‘Forsake’ is egkataleipo (eng-ka-ta-lei’-pō): ‘1. to leave behind in some place. 2. (in a good sense) let remain over. 3. (in a bad sense) to desert.’ What is the reason why God will not leave nor forsake the born again? God is love. One of the characteristics of love is in 1Corinthians 13:8 “Charity never faileth:” and the word ‘never’ is oudepote (ou-d̮e’-po-te): ‘not even at any time, i.e. never at all;’ while ‘faileth’ is ekpipto (ek-piyp’-tō): ‘1. to drop away. 2. (specially) be driven out of one’s course. 3. (figuratively) to lose, become inefficient.’

Another reason is that God, as a Businessman, will never want to lose the ownership of any of His properties. The born again Christian is Jehovah’s personal responsibility. Nobility of Divinity will not accept irresponsibility. We of the regeneration are His by the oath of His pronouncement. We belong to the Most High. The eternality of God’s accountability towards His purchased property makes the destiny of the Church towards celestial rest an onliest concern of the Godhead. Does it say from Scripture, “…should not perish but have eternal life,” then the onus of the practicality lies squarely and secured on the shoulders of the Most High Jehovah through the Empyrean Insurance Corporation. The germinal essentiality of salvific trait is the simple ‘belief’ in the individual’s heart’s exercise. True salvation is conditioned entirely on faith, absolute faith in the Word of Scripture. “That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. 13) In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory” (Ephesians 1:12-14).

The first stance of soteriological existence is the act of faith. ‘Trusted’ of verse 12 is proelpizō (pro-el-pid’-zo): ‘to hope in advance of other confirmation.’ It does say somewhere, “faith cometh by hearing;” and when the heard substance is led to the state of digestion, the risen hope transforms into a deeply rooted faith in the rhema of the Logos. The LORD God, seeing this display of sheer intent of the abiding faith, the Godhead takes it up from there: for He alone can bring the objectivity of faith into its destined consummation.

It is God’s business transaction, which requires not a less in Divinity of participation. Another Entity of eternality, the Holy Spirit, must, as of divine requirement, serve as the earnest. God the Father did not perfect the payment of regeneration of the Christian with the denarii of the Roman tentacles of nations’ occupation. He did not pay with the British pound sterling to save Europeans; the globally sought after US dollars was not the currency of transaction; neither is the Nigerian naira offered for the redemption of Africans. The tectonic relevancy and divine bourne is the onliest reason why God must use Himself as the down payment for the Church: God’s biggest dream.

Will You Lose The Genuineness Of Your Salvation? (6)

(…continues from part five…)

6)            God is a businessman.  Who is the Husbandman of Matthew 21:33-36; and who is the King who delivered talents of money with the instruction, “Occupy till I come,” of Luke 19:13? The Matthew King is God the Father and the Instructor of “Occupy till I come” is the Lord Jesus. The word ‘occupy’ is pragmateuomai (prag-ma-tev’-o-mai): ‘to busy oneself with, i.e. to trade.’ It is a commercial term. These verses and some others prove that God is a Businessman. The question now is which merchant wants to lose in any trading transaction? None, I believe, is the answer. Why would God use the Holy Spirit as the earnest or down payment or collateral, if you would, in the purchase of the regenerate soul, knowing which one would turn out to be bad business and went ahead with the regeneration transaction? God would never want to lose, ergo, a genuine born again will not be lost to hell simply because God could not have made a wrong use of the earnest – God does not make wrong moves.

God’s Insurance Corporation covers absolutely

The saved is in the eternality of, not One, but in the Divine hands of Two Members of the Godhead; in fact the saved soul is held in the eternal hands of the Trinity – the Holy Spirit is actively involved in the soteriology. Theologically, we understand that what is in the hand of the Christ is said to be in the Father’s hand as well. But the seriousness of the Divine Insurance Corporation (headquartered in heaven) enforces me to dwell on the individuality and the distinctiveness of each of the Members of the Godhead. The hand of Christ, from which none can pluck, is a mystical arm of eternality. It is impossible to even come to an approaching distance, not to talk of touching it. If you cannot touch it what possibility, on earth, gives anyone the strength of moving just one finger of eternal existence? Need we dwell on the impossibility of plucking the saved soul out of the hand of the Christ?

Come unto me all ye that labour, and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.

Now the same saved souls are secured in the Father’s eternal hand. One eternality is much, too much enough to effect security for all eternities; but two hands of the Divinity? Phew! It is the end of the discussion! How it seems too difficult to understand this simple scriptural facticity is disturbing to my theological mind, honestly! Does it not make it explicitly in abundance of clarity in Romans 11:29 that “For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance”; where ‘without repentance’ is the Greek ametamelētos (am-et-am-el’-ay-tos) meaning: ‘unregretted or better still, irrevocable’? The predestined quiddity of the born again, which before creation was an issue of Godhead predetermination concerning the Christian, makes his spiritual rebirth unreversible.

Matthew 28:20

Is it not an indictment on the Persons of the Godhead if a bought soul should perish? We do not try, in any way at all, to ask ourselves this saliency of theological question, do we? It is quite understandable that when God made the pristine male and female Adamic parents, they were essentially free moral agents. Right! God did not have to pay anything for their creation because they were perfect. But when they fell and it was quite certain, from Prophet Ezekiel’s, vaticinatory “the soul that sinneth, it shall die” (Ezekiel 18:4), the compassionate heart of God looked at them that headed to the hell of no return abode, and Jehovah had to assume the Merchant role of His Being. The merchandise was nothing less than the souls of those who would simply believe in Him: which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

A volte-face U-turn was the treading of the ones who, from their hearts and with all sincerity of the same heart, receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Saivour, move away from the hellish direction into the marvelous Light, Jesus, to be preserved unto the day of perfection. It says, “…and I give them eternal life,” does it not? If I should lose it, am I the loser or the one Who promised that zoē? The celestial Businessman, who does not lose any business transaction also said, from Pauline quotation in Hebrews 13:5, “I will never leave thee nor forsake thee.” If He had said it in Genesis 28:15 to Jacob; to Israel through Moses in Deuteronomy 31:6; but specifically to Joshua in Deuteronomy 31:8; and to Joshua, directly from the lips of the Divinity in Joshua 1:5; from the Prophet, High Priest and Judge of Israel, Samuel to the people of Israel in 1Samuel 12:22; the Spirit inspired David to say it to Solomon in 1Chronicles 28:20; and from the psalmist in Psalm 37:25; Psalm 37:28, is the LORD God not saying the same words of encouragement to the born again Christian these days? God, who cannot be indicted for any offense will make sure His Word – a Personage – is eternally kept sacred. Praise the LORD!

Will You Lose The Genuineness Of Your Salvation? (5)

(…continues from part four…)

5]            Salvation has always been through Jesus Christ. If He is the Shepherd of Psalm 23, who is also the Shepherd of Israel of Psalm 80, and we understand that Jesus affirms the truth that He is the good Shepherd in John 10:11, then there is no doubt whatsoever, that Jesus is the Jehovah of the Old Testament. Proof that the Jehovah of the Old Testament is the Christ is evident in 1Corinthians 10:9 “Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.” ‘Tempt’ is ekpeirazō (ek-pi-rad’-zo): ‘to prove, test, thoroughly; to put to proof God’s character and power.’ When He told the badgering ‘tempter’ of Luke chapter 4, “Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God”, the Devil had no choice but to flee from the anger of the LORD God, in Whose presence his employment of boldacity had him stood all those forty days.

The LORD Jesus, who rightly receives worship, is my Shepherd.

How did the saints make it to heaven in the Old Testamentary days? It was owed to diligence to the things of God, contrition of heart and spiritual uprightness before the LORD. David proved to be a good example of the Old Testament saints. He never wasted any moment to seek forgiveness from the LORD God, the Good Shepherd – Jesus Christ. I really want to believe that the bellowing scare of “You will lose your salvation when you commit sin” is borne out of sheer intent to keep the Christian from doing the wrong things. If that is the major reason, then, would it not be sheer Scriptural deceit?                 Unscriptural scare is unnecessary; it can never straighten any crookedly behaved soul. What they need to know is the truth. What is the truth? It says that if we do not do the right thing, we stand to lose crowns of Christian achievements found in 1Corinthians 3:11-15. Verse 15 says, “If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.” What does one stand to lose? One stands to lose the crowns of Christian achievements: to prove that God rewards good deeds, of course. But I thank the good LORD that, the most important part of man, the soul, shall be saved. Hallelujah!

The employment of scary, unscriptural teachings will only succeed in breeding more of unnecessary obnoxious fear in the heart of the untutored, concerning salvation. False teaching does not aid the Christian life; pure faith in the Word keeps one afloat in the regenerate spiritual life. Romans 3:28 “Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.” The subject of this verse, ‘man’ is the Greek anthropos (an’-thrō-pos): ‘1. (literally) man -visage (i.e. a man-faced being, a man who has visibly come of age). 2. (concretely, in Hebrew) a clay being (a classification of beings made in the image of God, who made them male and female). 3. (generically, in English) a human being.’ Apostle Paul did not say, “…a good ‘Christian’ or ‘Jew’ is justified by good works.” He says pointedly, ‘a man-faced being of Adamic nature’ cannot be justified save by the faith, faith in the word of God. Any person who comes to Jesus, knowing that he was born in sin and wants to be justified, must get born again, a birth engendered solely by the beneficence of Divinity, maintained and perfected by the same God and which has absolutely nothing to do with man’s moral rectitude is what this new birth of soteriology is all about.

“For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance” (Romans 11:29).

“Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called: Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied” (Jude 1:1-2). God Almighty, the Eternal Father, already knew in the eternal past who will seek to be redeemed. So, what did He do? The Greek word for ‘sanctified’ is hagiazo (ha-ǰiy-a’-zō): ‘1. to make holy, to set apart unto God and apart (alienate) from the world. 2. (ceremonially) to cleanse. 3. (mentally) to reverence.’ What God did was to use His omnipotence to ‘set those who will receive Jesus as Lord and Saviour apart’ unto Himself.

The next thing was to do ‘preservation’. The word ‘preserved’ is tereo (tee-re’-ō): ‘1. to guard (from loss or injury). 2. (properly) by keeping the eye upon, i.e. to note (a prophecy). 3. (thus, figuratively) to fulfil a command. 4. (by implication) to detain in custody. 5. (thus, figuratively) to maintain. 6. (by extension) to withhold for personal ends. 7. (thus, figuratively) to keep unmarried.’ God preserved the would-be born again in an everlasting refrigerator – Jesus Christ. No spiritual injury or loss comes to anyone having his preservation in Christ Jesus. After the Godhead had concluded the soteriological effectibility, the Father, the Christ and the Holy Spirit were waiting patiently for the day the individual will hear the gospel, believe and accept to say the sinner’s prayer, becoming the ‘called’ which is the Greek kletos (klee-tos’): ‘1. Called 2. (specially, divinely) called forth. 3. (figuratively) invited. 4. (specially) a person redeemed by Jesus (i.e. the called of Christ, the Annointed One).’

Everything that marks the process of salvation is God’s work, therefore, the born again person will continually have the Divine attention of ‘mercy’ (to be forgiven always), ‘peace’ (prosperity in all its ramifications) and ‘love’ (God’s unconditional, protective affection) multiplied unto his soul, simply because this regenerate soul must not be lost. Amen!

Amen!”

“I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee” (Hebrews 13:5).

(…continues from part three…)

4]            How can teachers of the Scriptural facticity not grok that the hand holding the born again soul is the eternality of palm and, ergo, of similitude of duration? It is a Scriptural impossibility for the snatch of Satanism to happen to Jehovah’s object of endearment. The Divine insurance that covers true Christians is properly theft proof. It disturbs my mind when Christians fail to see the contents of God’s protocol. For instance, do you realize that immediately Jesus uttered the words of John 10:29, His next words was an unexpected bombshell, which reads, “I and my Father are one” (John 10:30). Very few words but the depth of its profundity is downright kicky. Heis (hice), the Greek for the noun ‘one’ is a neuter gender, meaning: ‘essence’. If the Father is omnipotent, the Son is of an equal omnipotence. Is the Father omniscient? Look at the Son; He is not less in omniscience. The Two are essentially Almighty in all of its ramifications. Doubly held in the hands of eternality, the Christian is absolutely secured in the soteriological reality. Amen.

The Good Samaritan is the Redeemer

The Good Samaritan storyline is depictive of the theological “once saved always saved” didacticism. The evil force of his attack is the work of Satanism, come to steal, kill and to destroy. The traveller fell under sin. The Good Samaritan found him in the pool of his sinfulness. Does the Scripture not calm us down with Isaiah 1:18 “…though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool”? Another Scripture that supports the fact that salvation cannot be lost is the Pauline “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). The saved Christian does not need to be found in any work of moral rectitude before saying the prayer of salvation. Jesus did not tell the wounded man to repent of his sins before saving him; neither did He wait till the man cleansed himself of the disgusting clogs of blood all over his person.

Jesus Himself brought out wine and oil: two elements of soteriological consummation. Without the Golgotha shed blood, there can never be any salvation of any soul. The wine represents the blood that would be shed on the cross of Calvary, once for all beings then and thereafter, forever. The oil is emblematic of the Holy Spirit, without which none can claim to be born again. The very second an individual gets born again the Spirit of God finds a dwelling inside the rejuvenated spirit located in the soul of man. He stays there forever. Unless I can be shown anywhere in the New Testamentary order where the Holy Spirit left the spirit of an incorrigibly erring soul, there is no scriptural fact backing the erroneous teaching of the loss of the salvation that is wrought on the cross of Calvary by the Lord Jesus Christ. Remember that after applying the wine: intended to serve as a disinfectant, He needed to pour the oil as well. The infection is the proclivity of spiritual sinfulness, proving that the Devil had ruled his life. The bactericidal wine keeps the redeemed, who is now continually before the LORD, deodorized. The oil completes the healing process; sanctifying, justifying and continues to empower in all spiritual ramifications.

Have we forgotten that Jesus, the Good Samaritan, took the injured victim to an ‘inn’ that is pandocheion (pan-dokk-i’-on): ‘a public house for the reception of strangers; all receptive.’ Remember also that the victim did not supply anything towards his recuperation. The Good Samaritan provided everything, including the payment for the place of rest. How much did He pay? Two pence; and in those days a penny is regarded as a day’s wage. Theologically, a day in God’s heaven is like a thousand years on our terra firma. According to Rev. Chris Okotie, the two pence is the payment of our rest in the Church, divinely presided by the Holy Spirit, for two thousand years. As long as the Church age functions on earth, the Christian is protected against any evil eventuality. Jesus has not performed His Second Coming, therefore, we must remain divinely protected from falling into any loss of salvation. It is just not possible that what Jesus paid for will suffer spiritual deterioration. The terms and conditions of this salvific transaction are absolutely in the hands of the Members of the Godhead. The Holy Spirit will never accuse the Lord Jesus, the Second Member of the Godhead, of defaulting in payment, and consequently throw out an erring inmate of ‘the Inn’ – the Church of the Living God. The belief in the loss of the salvation brought by Jesus is quite unscriptural.

3]            Now, to have a good understanding of 1Corinthians 10:12, it is important to go a little bit back so as not to be guilty of the Scriptural pull out without due consideration. 1Corinthians 10:5-12 5) “But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness. 6) Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. 7) Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. 8) Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand. 9) Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents. 10) Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. 11) Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. 12) Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.” Why was God not pleased with them? Was it not because of unbelief cum total disregard for His Word? Where did all that perished in the great deluge of Noah’s vaticination go? No doubt, to hell they went. But I can state categorically that some of those who died in the forty years of Israeli wandering in the wilderness went to heaven for the simple reason that Israel entered into blood covenant with Jehovah, ergo, as many of the dead that continued to keep faith, according to Mosaic legalism, most definitely got led to Abraham’s bosom.

Verse nine of Pauline script mentions of the calamitous effect of tempting Christ. Christ? Did the Pentateuch mention the name of the Christ? No; so, why Christ? He was not mentioned by that name, but He was introduced; He followed Israel; He fed, assuaged thirst, and protected Israel. Of course, Christ did speak to Israel. Does Pauline writing call Christ the ROCK? Then this is where the lyricist, Augustus Montague Toplady (1740-1778), got the famous hymnal “Rock of Ages” written in 1776. Its biblical inference is Isaiah 26:4 “Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:” and where is the Rock? The Hebraic tsuwr (tsoor) is the word for ‘strength’ which means: ‘1. (properly) a cliff (or sharp rock, as compressed). 2. (generally) a rock or boulder. 3. (figuratively) a refuge. 4. (also) an edge (as precipitous).’

Christ, going by 1Corinthians 10:4; Isaiah 26:4 and Exodus 17:6 “Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel,” Jesus Christ is indubitably the Rock of Ages – the eternal stability of the souls of regenerate born again children of the Most High, making sure no soul is lost, once saved: for who can pluck Christians out of God’s hand when it is clearly understood that, “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29) My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand” (John 10:28-29). 1Corinthians 10:4 “And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.”

How could our superintendent pastors not see that the word ‘pluck’ is the Greek harpazō (har-pad’-zo): ‘to seize, carry off by force; to seize on, claim for one’s self eagerly; to snatch out or away; to steal (absolutely). How can teachers of the Word not grok that even the practicality of the viciousness of Satanism cannot, and will never remove the saved souls from the hand of the Creator? When John revealed the drama that took place in the heavenly assizes, where the One Who sat on the empyrean throne of the Majesty held the scroll, could any being of creationism approach the throne to take or even accept the scroll? None, save the One Who possessed the kind of hand that held the scroll could stretch the similitude of hand and to take! Only the eternality of the hand of Christ could legally and appropriately be stretched towards the eternal hand of the Father. As long as one has got himself initiated into the soteriology of the Godhead both hands and that of the Holy Spirit are holding that one firmly.

Will You Lose The Genuineness Of Your Salvation? (2)

His death, burial, resurrection, ascension and session gave Christians the zōē

(…continues from part one…)

2]                 If what the beneficence of God gave was truly an everlasting life of zōē, it should, therefore, follow that if I should lose it, what was given was not an eternal life; it was a spiritual scam! But God forbid that the Calvary historicity should sport a smidgeon of falsity. Selah! Does it not script concerning the celestial prize giving day for Christians in 1Corinthians 3:12-15 12) “Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13) Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. 14) If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15) If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.” The born again may lose crowns but his salvation is securely insured in Christ Jesus, the first and the best Insurance Corporation. Maybe they have easily forgotten, but the Word of God says without any equivocation: 2Corinthians 1:20-22 20) “For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. 21) Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; 22) Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.” This needs some explanations.  What does it explicate: the irrefragability that makes the Holy Spirit the earnest of our recreation?

He died…that we might be made the righteousness of God in him (2Cor 5:21).

‘Stablisheth’ is bebaioō (beb-ah-yo’-o): ‘To establish, confirm, make sure; to stabilitate (figuratively).’ The Institutor of this new birth is definitely not any of the persons of God’s creation; it is Jehovah Himself. He lays the irrefragable foundation in none other than the Holy One of Israel, Jesus Christ, the Author of creationism. Then God moves an eternal step further by insuring the payment of the regeneration of the spirit of the born again, who has become His divine property, with the Person of the Holy Spirit. Tell me what can ever go awry with this transaction of the Divinity? How affluent is the Holy Spirit? How much does God still owe when He gives out the Holy Spirit as the earnest? Is there any possibility that God’s Earnest will be found not enough to keep the purchased property in His eternal ownership having defaulted in payment? How much would God still be owing to sinfulness after having given the Holy Spirit as the earnest? Is the Holy Spirit, the Second Member of the Godhead not too rich to be declared a defaulter in any business transaction? Selah.

The new birth is a transaction of eternality, the title deed happens to be in the hand of the One of Whom it is couched, “For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance” (Romans 11:29). What is ‘without repentance’? It comes from the Greek ametamelētos (am-et-am-el’-ay-tos): ‘irrevocable.’ What does this fact prognosticate? God will never say that He is no longer interested in the business transaction: a procurement that came into being when Jesus shed His blood on the cross. Three times the eternal LORD God participated in this ownership of the redeemed Christian. First, the Father gave His only begotten Son. The Second Member of the Godhead exchanged His divine life with the fallen, hell bound Adamic creature. Thirdly, the eternality of the inexhaustible affluence of the Holy Spirit is the legal tender of the down payment of the soul of the redeemed! What can ever go wrong with this new birth “which God stablisheth us in Christ”? Even God Himself will not refashion the new creation: it is too exorbitant to lose. He used His eternal Self to purchase the born again Christian. Amen! Is the fall of a Christian a possibility? Selah!

In the book of 1Corinthians 10:12, the reading is, “Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.” The word ‘thinketh’, dokeō (dok-eh’-o) means: ‘to be of opinion, think, suppose, to seem, to be accounted, reputed; it seems to me, I think, judge: thus in question, it seems good to, pleased me, I determined.’ Pauline script here is chiefly at the Corinth citizens and less to the true Christian believer; it is meant to address the people of Corinth’s Greek love of philosophical subtleties which has the logical capability to question the divine doctrine of Christianity. According to Fausset, it is said of Corinthians to be “Notorious for immorality, ‘to Corinthianize’ was proverbial for playing the wanton. The worship of Venus, whose temple was on Acrocorinthus, was attended with shameless profligacy, 1,000 female slaves being maintained for the service of strangers.” Pauline script was on point in telling them to keep away from the acts of: murmuring, fornication, tempting Christ, lust and idolatrous proclivity. This could either, as a true believer, end him not receiving any reward in heaven; or if he has not yet believed, end his eternal being in hell!

Will You Lose The Genuineness Of Your Salvation? (1)

1]            It happened to be a very hot scriptural debate on the eternal security of soteriology that I saw from various video clips with an involvement of men of God, each of whom controls very large church going people. Warning Christians on the danger of believing in the didactic “once saved always saved,” the revered Bishop David Oyedepo (founder of Living Faith Church), in buttressing the attachment of aberrational quiddity regarding the teaching on “security of salvation”, quoted 1Corinthians 10:12, “Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.”

Is Bishop David Oyedepo the only one spreading this teaching, does he not have huge support from more revered and greater Christian followership in the persons of Pastors E.A. Adeboye and W.F. Kumuyi, who respectively are, the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, and the General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church? Do I not feel uncomfortable seeing an unrestrained aberration of a down the throat forced Christian indoctrination? Disappointedly, I do! It does not frustrate me; it just appalls me to hear great men of God do unscriptural indoctrination. How Bishop Oyedepo et alia manage unscriptural didacticism, is quite appalling. When you pull out a Scripture, not giving any due respect to scriptural contextualism, you spread misinformation of God’s Word; the Word is a Personage. Bishop Oyedepo merely pulled out 1Corinthians 10:12 without true contextual consideration.

So, let us do a treading on the destiny (which, of sooth, is the distance from point A to point B, my post THE DESTINATION OF YOUR DESTINY (I) https://hoojewale.wordpress.com/2016/10/29/the-destination-of-your-destiny-i … explains ‘destiny’ better) of 1Corinthians 10:12 with the employment of contextual criticism based on Pauline couch. Why would Paul begin this verse with hōste (hoce’-teh), the Greek word for ‘wherefore’, defined as: ‘so that, insomuch that, then, therefore.’ The conjunct disposition of ‘wherefore’ or ‘therefore’, is to effect the realization, on the part of the Christian, not being as over confident as the Jews, mentioned in verses one to five. As the Jews served various punishments so are the Christ folowers liable to sinfulness leading to partial or final debilitating hardships for allowing themselves to fall into sin. That is the admonition.

‘Let’, from this verse, is blepo (ɓle’-pō): ‘to look at or upon, of the bodily eye; beware.’ The word ‘thinketh’ is dokeō (dok-eh’-o): ‘to be of opinion, think, suppose, to seem, to be accounted, reputed; it seems to me, I think, judge: thus in question, it seems good to, pleased me, I determined.’ Traditionally, the dokeō minded person has an opinion that ‘serpents bear their young ones’ like mammals do. The absolute opinions of things roam through their baseless imaginations. Living in fool’s paradise, the one with dokeō mindset believes he is what his imagination tells him. Histēmi (his’-tay-mee) is the Greek for ‘standeth’ meaning: ‘To cause or make to stand; to place; put; set; establish.’ The phrasal ‘take heed’ is the same Greek blepō. Piptō (pip’-to): ‘To descend from a higher place to a lower; To fall (either from or upon); To be thrust down. Metaphorically to fall under judgment, come under condemnation.’

The “called” are sanctified and preserved by God the Father, in Jesus Christ

Is it not glaring enough that anyone who calls himself a Christian and continues to swim in the evil of sinful lust; of rejoicing in the festivity of idolatry; engaging in amatorial illicitness in reckless abandon; tempting God or, more specifically, Christ by speaking words of faithlessness to Him; and the fifth recorded sin of Israel, ‘to murmur’  which in Greek is gogguzō (gong-good’-zo): ‘to mutter, grumble, say anything against in a low tone; of the cooing of doves; of those who confer secretly together; of those who discontentedly complain;’ is probably not a genuine child of the Most High? When you call yourself a born again Christian and find yourself in continual perpetration of these five acts of sinning, it is glaring that you are not truly born again. There is nothing like meeting God half way when it comes to salvation of the soul. You are either truly born again or never ever been born again. Period!

So, what Scriptural explanations debunk preachers of “you can lose your salvation”? The very few words of the microcosm of the entire Bible, John 3:16, make indubitable provision for the answer, which reads, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” The Greek for ‘everlasting’ is aiōnios (ahee-o’-nee-os): ‘without beginning and end; that which always has been and always will be; without beginning, without end; never to cease.’ And ‘life’, zōē (dzo-ay’): is specifically ‘God’s kind of unending life.’ The question now is that did God ever know that the saved Adamic entity would commit sin after the spiritual regeneration? If His Omniscience knew this fact, why should He bestow a life unending unto the born again knowing fully well that it stood to be lost immediately the individual commits one sin? There is no way God would give an eternal life that stood to be lost. Prove to me that what God, through grace, gave was never eternality of God’s life and I will agree with Oyedepo that “once saved is not always saved.”
