Lucifer’s Smoothness of Shenanigan (2)

The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat” [Genesis 3:13].

(…continues from part one…)

2)            Now, listen to the woman’s response to the make-believe satanic inquisitive trap. “And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3) But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die” [Genesis 3:2-3]. Sounds so much like puerility. She was made to think that she was addressing a minor – her child. Have you ever noticed that when it was the turn of the old Dragon to open his vocal cord, it was not that of juvenility? The words were that of mesmerising authority uttered from superiority.

Genesis 3:4-5 “And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5) For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.” She did not know that she was dealing with a being, billions of years older! Lucifer, smiling, plotted to play words with the youngest of intelligent created minds.

“Neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die” [Genesis 3:3]

When the woman, in total disregard to her husband, the head of humanity, decided on her own to stain God’s protocol with “neither shall ye touch it” of verse three, contrary to Genesis 2:17, she actually uttered the first superstitious innuendo. The masquerading serpentine evil knew that his trap had given him a trophy. The woman of Eden misrepresented both her husband and the LORD God. She did not give God the most proper title of “LORD God”; and that way the spirit behind the serpent had his opportunity to present himself as god – for anything can be god – albeit his intention was an apotheotic design to bend the religious knees of the world before Satanism.

Her untrue statement against the word of God played her into the waiting, malicious hands of the Devil. Lucifer needed to have the Woman – the symbolism of the Church – to utter words of Scriptural aberrancy. That way he will devilishly have the Church of God in his pocket to perfect the priestcraft of his intention. Today, though, so many pastors may be sincere, as Reverend Chris Okotie always makes it clear, they are sincerely wrong, even as the Reverend concludes. The Church of God constantly adds to the Word of God. Sad. The guiltiest of all being the Romish Church of Catholicism. Imagine the Pope pontificating that God told him to edit the Ten Commandments!

woman saw tree …good for food, …pleasant to the eyes, and …make one wise

She should have queried Lucifer’s question with, “What do you want to know?” That way, she would have stood firmly, as a one who had authority over her head. Lucifer would have got himself in a dangerous cul-de-sac. That, probably, would have been the end of his escapades on terra firma. The enemy, as diabolically expected, did something to allow the victim to tighten the noose around her own neck. He played along with the unsuspecting wife of Adam. He added ‘not’ a negation, to make of none effect, God’s original, “…thou shalt surely die;” making God, in the heart of Adam’s wife, a liar.

Having successfully portrayed the Creator as self-conceited, self-loving and someone in absolute disregard for man’s evolution to deified status, the Devil painted himself as the liberating illuminator, who is ready to take mankind to the next level of apotheotic pride. The bait had been taken. The hook had sunk, irreversibly deep, as far as the victim was concerned. Satanism got unfortunately established.

And the resultant effects were, “And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. 7) And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons” (Genesis 3:6-7). Adamic spirituality had fallen! This is the saddest part of human history.

Who told thee that thou wast naked? [Genesis 3:11]

Was the LORD God late in making His entrance only after the evil deed of eternal consequence had been perpetrated? Why did He not, like in the Hollywood movies, just show up to act the heroic, Saviour role? Genesis 3:8-11 “And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. 9) And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? 10) And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. 11) And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?”

Free Moral, Sinless, Adamic Agents

Adam and his wife were on probationary life. They were made free moral agents. On the sixth day of re-creationism of their entrance into life, they were already adults. They had been initiated into the knowledge of good and evil. God did not create soulless robots of mechanical operations devoid of spirituality. Adam was made to make intellectual decisions. He had the image of God, making him God’s most favourite being. Adam could not have asked for more!

Get born again. Say this simple prayer, believing it with all your heart. Say:

“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”

Lucifer’s Smoothness of Shenanigan (1)

Lucifer is the father of lies [John 8:44]

1)            It is spiritually strategic to be informed that this fallen, demented Lucifer cannot force anyone into Satanism. The Divine rule against devilry idolatry makes it null and void for him, Lucifer, to force anyone into accepting his dissimulation. “He comes,” as Reverend Chris Okotie taught in his Sunday Service of 17th January, 2021, “to change your nature.” “What”, I want to ask, “is the nature that Satanism is bent on changing?” It is spelt explicitly in Genesis 1:26 “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:” where the ‘image’ is the Hebraic tselem (tseh’-lem). Tselem, interestingly is a masculine noun, making it an object of dominion. It means: ‘1. a phantom. 2. (figuratively) illusion, resemblance. 3. (hence) a representative figure. 4. (especially) an idol.’

Sinless Adam and Eve

Definition 2 which best fits, in this context, makes Adam the creature who has the endowment of his Creator’s resemblance. The 3rd definition of ‘a representative figure’ makes Adam God’s viceroy on earth. As the head of the Eden family he is also the priest of the world. Overcome by jealousy, Lucifer swore to employ every plot of Satanism to engender the reversal of the Eden status quo towards his own insane apotheosis. He knew that he could not just walk up to Adam and tell him, “Give me your hegemonic political and sacerdotal roles, I am in need of them.” Since direct confrontation stood an abortive chance, prevaricating machinations, therefore, should see him through to victory if he could get to make the Woman to speak weakly for her husband, lord and priest – Adam the male. Circumvention of Satanism, unfortunately did pay off.

In the accounts of Genesis chapter 3, the verses from 1 to 15 lend credence to a diablerie coercionary subtlety that got the unwary woman totally beguiled.

The subtlety of Lucifer’s shenanigan could not be accessed from the first words of his diabolical heart when he said, “Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” of Genesis 3:1. This took place in God’s house – Eden. And I am of the expectation that if an animal could express itself from the vocal cords, those first words of Scriptural documentation must be words of praise and of worship to the glory of the Most High. Rather, this one who had accessed the Garden in a pad and a creep of ophidian meandering, threw a negative thought at them.

Why should this strangeness beam the darkness of illumination on physical food? The wondrous eternality of spiritual life of God’s providential beneficence jettisoned, Lucifer had come to feed them of the putrefactive darkness of Satanism. Note that he did not use the title, “LORD God” in reference to the Creator. “God” is what one reads throughout chapter one of Genesis. To make a revelation of who this Elohiym truly is, Genesis 2:4, in recapitulation of the just concluded creationism calls Him the “LORD God”. The term ‘god’, as a matter of fact, can be any object of veneration. There is only one LORD God in the universe.

Lucifer is the god of this world [2corinthians 4:4]

Lucifer had not only come to disparage the LORD God, he had come to set himself up as god – the god of this world [2Corinthians 4:4]. Lest his choice of “LORD God” should give his shenanigan away, he would not dare to use it! The subtlety of Satanism is revealed in the play on words. It would have been tantamount to swallowing poison, using the term ‘LORD God’ simply because it will never make any sense maligning the LORD God who alone IS, by His own power. Knowing fully well that man eats the food that the soul is accustomed to; and that the soul of man receives the strength of sustainability therefrom he must feed mankind with that which will give him perfection of control over Adam.

He wanted to change the course of Adamic life, such that they will begin to live through what he shows them, making them think more about what to eat to fill the physical stomach, than ‘looking unto Jesus Christ, the Author and the finisher of our faith’ for dependence. His probing query was traps laden words of destructiveness. The Woman, unfortunately, would not change the subject, but stupidly warmed herself to this jejune point of pedestrianism. Try eavesdropping what is termed ‘girls’ talk’ and most of them though mirthful, they lack elements of spiritual growth. Has that innocuous looking discourse not affected the Church of God today? Do Christians not go from one place to another simply because they have itching ears? The obnoxious opportunity given to Lucifer’s talk is the bane of man’s woes.

OPPORTUNITY: DOES IT KNOCK ONLY ONCE? [3]

(…continues from part two…)

3)            Ask yourself why God blessed the first Adamic family, knowing fully well they would disappoint Him. Was it not a second chance opportunity He was offering them? To get born again is nothing short of being offered the second chance. The Author of salvation would be stepping into our world, therefore, God must of divine necessity bless them. The blessing makes it possible for opportunity to knock at the doors of the heart of believers once again. The blessing of the first parents of mankind produced the good children of Adam, culminating in the birth of Noah. It brought forth father Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; and the eventual nation of Israel.

Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it:” (Genesis 1:28),

From Israel it is revealed, “But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting” [Micah 5:2]. The One of biblical expectation, from the days of Adam is the Emmanuel, the Son of the living God, the Word, Jehovah Tsidkenu, the Second Member of the Godhead, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty, Jesus Christ. Involvement of Jesus will, if you believe, move opportunity to knock at your service again and again. That does not mean that one should take any opportunity for granted, though.

God showed mankind how to achieve another opportunity

That God gives us more than a second chance is a Scriptural truism. Every hour, day or eventuality up to the millionth and more is the second chance. A second chance to get it right. Before they committed any sin, the LORD God blessed them. Why? So that nothing could serve as a reversal of the bestowal of Divine blessedness. To the angelic beings of the empyreal order, it is a case of, ‘sin once and you lose your estate’. Not so regarding Adam to whom is the decoration of the eternality of the ‘image’ of God. God did not absolve Adam of the disobedient sin. He was punished. But Adam was also given a second chance to live in his estate of God’s child.

Cain shunned God’s sacrificial second opportunity

God showed the family of Adam how to get back on to the spiritual alignment with the Creator, when He slaughtered the sacrificial crouching animals of forgiveness. When Cain committed the unruly sacrificial blunder, he rejected God’s forgiveness; probably bent on riding on the prideful horse of Liberalism slant of God’s protocol. Genesis 4:7 “If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him”. The Hebrew for ‘sin’ is chaṭṭâ’th (khat-taw-aw’): ‘sinful, sin offering’. ‘Lieth’ is râbats (raw-bats’): ‘to crouch (on all four legs folded, like a recumbent animal).’ Theological Liberalism and Reformation are antichristian. How can anyone reform God’s protocol or liberalise the Christian mind from the known and received Scriptural facticity? Cain had been brainwashed by the philosophy of Satanism, hence, his rejection of the propitiating blood of Christ to come. He became the first Antichrist. It was, ergo, very easy for him to perpetrate the first murderous sinfulness. Cain disdained the providential second chance.

Samson got another opportunity

Samson misused his second chance – he had every opportunity to ask God to spare his life and to be restored as the Judge of Israel. Jonah got a second chance to preach in Nineveh. Even though he found himself inside the gargantuan jail of aquatic hopelessness, Jonah found an opportunity to plead for forgiveness. Jonah was not only forgiven he was restored to his vatic office. Peter, with curses, denied his Lord. He was restored to his apostleship when he came back – ready to serve – to the risen Saviour.

Why does the Lord Jesus stand at the door of our hearts, knocking and expecting an opening of the door in Revelation 3:20, Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. The LORD God allows opportunity to knock over and over again. Only the ones who refuse or reject to heed His knocking fail to achieve success. Amen!

Praying the sinner’s prayer as it is contained in Romans 10:8-10 is the prayer of salvation that gets one born again. This settles the spiritual quarrel man has with God. To get born again, say this prayer, with all your heart:

Dear heavenly FATHER, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died for my sins. I believe that You raised Jesus Christ from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord. Today, I receive Jesus Christ as my Lord and my Saviour and I give God all the glory. Amen.

OPPORTUNITY: DOES IT KNOCK ONLY ONCE? [2]

(…continues from part one…)

2)            There are dangerous resultant effects to believing that opportunity knocks only once. It weakens faith; kills hope; wans one’s love for the saving Word of God: all of which emanate from Satanism. How does it weaken faith? It is understood, scripturally, that God holds everything together, Colossians 1:17 “And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.” If opportunity knocks but once, why should I pray to God when one door closes? Faith says that when one door closes, God opens another to the glory of His name. Firm belief in this maxim does not only depreciate the faith in God’s Word, it deprecates the hope of receiving from the Providence. Believing this untruthfulness slams one into egregious hopelessness. One’s love for the word of God gets waned, when an unscriptural belief infiltrates God’s protocol.

Waiting upon God gives another opportunity

Does the Bible not expressly enjoin believers, “Pray without ceasing” [1Thessalonians 5:17]? God is constantly looking into your heart when you cease not to pray and not tired of doing so. Why? He is doing so to ascertain the fact that you are operating in firm faith.

Cornelius did not do what was required of him just once. He kept on doing it and one day it was told of him, “Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God” [Acts 10:31]. Did Jesus allow the Bethsaida blind man to be resigned to his half deliverance fate? Jesus asked him how well he could see and the man’s response in Mark 8:24 was, “And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.” A second touch of a chance was required. Opportunity knocks once mind-set does vilipend the prerequisite faith by which a man receives from God. It tells you not to expect more from Providence. Jesus made a second chance touch, and the blind man could then sing, “I can see clearly now!”

“And he said unto the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground”

One very good reason I can give for the failure of King Joash is that he had, over the years, been ill affected by a contrary view that erected a certain spirit of vilipendency for the word of God. Prophet Elisha’s nearing death situation cannot be seen as the only opportunity left for this king of Israel. Something had contaminated his faith to the Jehovah God of Israel. 2Kings 13:18-19 “And he said, Take the arrows. And he took them. And he said unto the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground. And he smote thrice, and stayed. 19) And the man of God was wroth with him, and said, Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times; then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it: whereas now thou shalt smite Syria but thrice.

Elisha said, Shoot!”

There is no written code of legality that specifies the number of times arrows should be shot to gain spiritual superiority over an enemy nation. It is quite understandable that when one allows an apothegm which is foreign to the instructions of the Most High, the ensuing spiritual contamination becomes a stumbling block, separating you from the protection of the Divinity. King Joash had had his mind tampered with idolatrous initiations, causing him to lose spiritual connection with the God of Israel. His wanning state of faith reared its ugly head and he could not defeat his Syrian army for as long as he should.

Satanically designed to chicane your mentality into disbelieving God’s salubrious instructions is the veridical pointer to the entrenchment of unchristian apothegm. God’s laws are instructions designed to enhance the salubrity not only to one’s physical health, but your mental and spiritual well-being. Scrutinize every wise sayings of human understanding. It may be a trap intended to slow your walk with the Lord down.

Praying the sinner’s prayer as it is contained in Romans 10: 8-10 is the prayer of salvation that gets one born again. This settles the spiritual quarrel man has with God. To get born again, say this prayer, with all your heart:

OPPORTUNITY: DOES IT KNOCK ONLY ONCE? [1]

1)            So many times I listen to the so-called wise sayings of man’s philosophies; but, as sound as their portrayal exude, I just laugh. I laugh at the hollowness of reasons attached to them. They, a lot of the philosophies, fail to satisfy God’s protocol. Why? Quite unbeknown to the human mental perception is the fact that a lot of man’s supposedly wise sayings are bejewelled with the gaud of Satanism. One of them is a recording of the great Jimmy Cliff. The song says, “Opportunity only knocks once, grab it fast or you lose your chance”. We sang it with so much gusto. Beautiful lyrics, captivating sounds arrangement, we are agreed, by the Reggae super-star.

Martha and Mary listen to Jesus

Each time a sermon invites one to the altar call of spiritual regeneration, it is an opportunity to be born again. Every time a proclaimer of the gospel approaches an individual, offering to lead him in the sinner’s prayer, giving him an opportunity to make a volte-face turn from the impending hell bound of those who do not have the salvific relationship with Jesus, it certainly is another opportunity. Some heard the same call, Church Services after dozens of Christian worship days before they finally decided, “I’m going to do it tonight!” For some others scores of proclaimers had to knock on the door of their homes or met them at different places before genuinely agreeing to say the prayer of salvation. In each of these cases does the philosophy of ‘opportunity only knocks once’ apply? Each time of a thousand times is actually the second chance, as far as God is concerned, explained Reverend Chris Okotie.

Every blessed day of an individual’s life on terra firma is an opportunity to get it right. Amen.

How many days of accruable opportunities can one find in the one hundred and twenty years of Noah’s evangelism to the incorrigible antediluvians of his days? The repentance opportunity kept knocking at the doors of their hearts: every sunup to sundown days of the one one-fifth centuries of the antediluvian age. How do I know that he preached for 120 years? Noah began to be a progenitor at the age of five hundred. He made his entrance into the ark for safety from the great deluge at his six hundredth year age.

Through the obedience of Noah’s family, the world got another opportunity to live.

What accounts for the twenty years’ difference is contextually found, in my firm understanding, in Genesis 6:3 “And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.” The Hebrew for ‘yet’ is wᵉ (wɪˈ), a conjunction prefix, meaning: ‘however, so then; emphasizing even, indeed.’ It expresses the thought of ‘though man deserved a speedy judgment’ he has 120 probationary period of years. This, according to this context, happens to do with the probationary proclaiming ministry days of Noah. This shows that Noah had received this prophetic office before the birth of his progenies, twenty years earlier. 1Peter 3:20 “Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.” The underscoring other verse is 2Peter 2:5 “And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;” as the antediluvian prophet and preacher of an impending calamity.

God is love

There is no ritualistic waiting for the opportunity to do a knuckle ram to be observed. When the need arrives, just take it. Psalm 145:18 says, “The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.” It is actually at every turn of a need that beckons on opportunities to seek the LORD’s face. Opportunity is not the thing that establishes a need; it only reminds you of your desired slant. Why would someone see an opportunity to be 100,000 dollars richer and will snub it? The amount in question is huge, and a host of people will kill to have it. Why someone will not have the need for it is simply because he has his eyes on what makes him two million dollars richer. The need brings opportunity into prominence, and not the other way round.

Wisdom Is A Personage [3]

(…continues from part 2…)

3)            “Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men” [Proverbs 8:31]. This is the Lord that comes from above, the Lord Jesus of John 3:13. ‘Rejoicing,’ from this verse is śâchaq (saw-khak’): ‘to laugh, play’. His delight found an object of display in the ‘sons’ which is the Hebraic bên (bane): ‘a son (as a builder of the family name)’. The LORD God knew that He could count on Adam and his progenies to help Him build His Kingdom on earth. ‘Men,’ from this verse, is ‘âdâm (aw-dawm’): ‘man, mankind’.

Is there a scriptural reference to Wisdom’s object of delight, in His decision to rejoice in mankind? Sure, there is. The first proof is in Genesis 1:26 “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” While the ‘likeness,’ demûth (dem-ooth’): ‘similitude,’ is an anthropomorphic dimension of the empyrean Majesty, the Hebraic ‘image’ tselem (tseh’-lem): in this context means ‘resemblance; hence a representative figure’. The ‘image’ is not of other definitions of an illusion or a phantom, it is a personage found in 2Corinthians 4:4 “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” The Greek of ‘image’ is eikōn (i-kone’) meaning: ‘a likeness, that is, (literally) statue, profile, or (figuratively) representation, resemblance’.

He that hath seen me hath seen the Father” [John 14:9].

If Jesus Christ is the express image of the unseen Jehovah God, and it says that Adam or mankind was created in the image of God, does it not say that mankind was made, not only in the anthropomorphism of the Lord God, but also in the similitude of the Most High? This shows that man is the apogee and the consummation of the six days of creation on the terra firma. For this reason, when He stepped on the earth, we became the object of His delight. His delight with Adamic rational being of creationism makes Christ to endow man with wisdom. Adam knew what sobriquet best suited every animal brought to him, for the Bible says, “And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof” [Genesis 2:19]. Wisdom endowed Adam with the mind of Christ.

32 “Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways. 33 Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. 34 Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors” [Proverbs 8:32-34]. The Hebrew word ‘blessed’ is ‘esher (eh’-sher): ‘happiness, blessedness.’ ‘Esher is a state of being for those who keep the ways of Wisdom.

35 “For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD. 36 But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death” [Proverbs 8:35-36]. Do we all not know the Entity who somewhere in the holy writ says, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me [John 14:6]. The same Personage told His disciples what is to be generally accepted in John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

The true Light, He lighteth every man that cometh into the world” [John 1:9].

There is no repugning the fact that Jesus Christ is this life found in Proverbs 8:35. The Book of John makes a revelation of Jesus; All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4) In him was life; and the life was the light of men [John 1:3-4]. The ninth verse of this chapter reads: That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world [John 1:9]. Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life[John 8:12]. Pellucidity of facticity, according to this verse, proves beyond any shred of doubt that Wisdom is a Personage. Who is this Person? Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the world, He is this Wisdom. Amen!

Get born again. Say this simple prayer, believing it with all your heart. Say:

“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. Wisdom Is A Personage [2]

(…continues from part 1…)

2)            When Jesus told His hearers, “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me“ [John 5:39]; Prophet Micah and his vaticination happened to be one of those who, through the Holy Spirit’s inspiration, got mankind ready for the Incarnation of the Divinity. Is Jesus Christ truly eternal? He made an asseveration to the fact in John 8:58, “Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.”

Now let us understand the difference between the “was” and the “am” of this verse. Grammatical facticity makes ‘was’ and ‘am’ inflections of ‘be’. The verbal ‘was’ is ginomai (ghin’-om-ahee): ‘to become, i.e. to come into existence, begin to be, receive being.’ The ‘am’ is eimi (i-mee’): ‘to be, to exist.’ When you bring the personal pronoun ‘I’ into the picture, what is revealed is the Personage of Exodus chapter 3 verse 14. ‘I AM’ is the Hebraic hâyâh (haw-yaw): ‘exist’. This ‘I AM’ is Jehovah. Jesus Christ is as eternal as God the Father, ergo, He did not come into being, i.e. created –He has an eternal existence before Abraham was brought into existence. The ‘was’ and the ‘am’ are, therefore, not the same as erroneously believed by Arians. The Jews who received this address understood Jesus perfectly and for this reason, they decided to stone Him to death in verse 59, for the very reason they sought to do the same in John 5:18, saying that by the asseveration of Jesus, “He makes Himself equal with God.”

The Lamb of God –slain from the foundation of the world [Rev. 13:8].

Proverbs 8:24-29 24 “When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. 25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth: 26 While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world. 27 When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: 28 When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: 29 When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:”

Wisdom, personifying the Christ, was there beside God in the unity of the Godhead when absolutely nothing was in existence save the Trinity. The first verse of Mosaic script of the Book of Genesis has, “In the beginning God created…” where ‘God’ in Hebrew is: ‘ĕlôhı̂ym (el-o-heem’). A plural noun, meaning: ‘rulers, judges; divine ones; angels; gods.’ Generating power for creationism was the Holy Spirit in the 2nd verse; and Christ, the Light, in the 3rd verse, stepped in physically to concretise creationism; and the name, LORD God, was first ascribed to Him as the Creator in Genesis 2:4.

The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit

Verse 30 of Proverbs chapter 8 paints the perfection of Jesus’ coetaneity with the Father. 30 “Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him.” ‘One brought up’ is ‘âmôn (aw-mone’): ‘artificer, architect, master workman, skilled workman (in the sense of training).’ Now ‘âmôn has its origin in ‘âman (aw-man’): ‘to support, confirm, be faithful; uphold, nourish; foster-father,’ and when one puts all of these definitions together what do we have? If ‘Wisdom,’ that is the Christ, is seen as an Architect who trained Him? Being the wisdom of God, none should train Him. There is no supportive Scripture to the effect of the First Member of the Godhead playing the divine role of Christ’s or the Holy Spirit’s foster-father. Could the Father have gone through being a foster-child as well? I do see the allegory of the First and the Second Members growing up to adulthood. Co-equality, definitely, is here revealed.

Amen!”
