All of Daniel’s prophecies were fulfilled.

(VIII) Prophet Daniel was the man of God who predicted, with the utmost precision, the fall of the Babylonian empire and the emergence of three others -Persia and Rome-, including that of the largest: Greek of Alexander the Great’s. “And the rough goat is the king of Grecia: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king” (Dan 8:21). Alexander might not be Philip (his own father and the first king of a small Greece), Alexander the Great is this prophetic goat: for Alexander the Great is the emperor of the unprecedented Greece, enlarged. I establish another truth with another prophecy of Daniel.“And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate” (Dan 9:27).

The Antichrist, according to Daniel’s prophetic connotation, will enter into a 7-year peace treaty with the world. He will bring peace to the world. I doubt if he would not be lined up for the Nobel Prize for Peace for ten consecutive years. Anyone who dreams or intends to effect world peace, watch him, he or she will definitely be in cahoot with the Antichrist. I understand that the Pope craves this desideration. Another revered head of one of the largest churches of the globe, Pastor E.A. Adeboye, has categorically made the asseveration that God has told him to unite all global faiths. The end result? To bring about a government that will ‘ultimately’ -Adeboye’s exact diction- give this world the desired peace.

Pastor Adeboye has proved that he is one of them: a hierophant of the lawless one. Now, Daniel mentioned, “and in the midst of the week.” This is an equal dividing of a week -3 ½ days; prophetically understood as three-and-half years. In this mid period of the peace deal, something will happen. “He shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease.” The resultant aftermath of phenomenal cataclysm of the rapture will give the Antichrist all the push to commence his true agenda.
The first casualty is the Israeli nation. The true Christians had gone. Israel must suffer for the rejection of the Christ, the Word of God. The word ‘sacrifice’ of Daniel 9:27 is zebach (zeh’-bakh): ‘a slaughter, that is, the flesh of an animal.” And this is what ‘oblation’ is, in Hebrew, minchâh (min-khaw’): ‘gift, tribute, present, sacrifice, meat offering, offering (to God), grain offering.’ What the zebach and minchâh are saying is this. The temple worship of the true God of Israel will continue from where it stopped about two millennia ago. Do we remember that the Good Samaritan gave the Innkeeper two pence, with a promise, “and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee”? If a celestial day equals earthly thousand years, then, Jesus gave the Holy Spirit an amount to cover two thousand years. The victim of robbery is the Christian who would be given to the Holy Spirit for safe keeping till the Lord’s return. Amen! The Good Samaritan is Jesus and the Innkeeper is the Holy Spirit, the One who has divinely inspired and taken care of the Church –the wounded victim.
Israel must go back to the temple worship
The Temple worship cannot be Christians mode of worship, having received a better covenant, made not of the blood of bulls, but of the eternally precious blood of the Lamb, the Lord from heaven. The remaining seven weeks i.e. 7 years of the seventy weeks takes Israel, not the mystical body of Christ, back to the Temple worship. The Jewish sacerdotalism makes way for the Holy Spirit’s incumbency of the holy of holies. The Antichrist will put a stop to the Jewish Temple worship, making himself the replacement of global worship.
It is, therefore, after three and half years into his seven years hegemonic allotment of Divinity that he will establish the mark of his name on foreheads and hands of the people of the earth. In the book of Revelation 11:3 where it says, “And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth;” the two witnesses will be Jews. The setting here is in Israel in the time of the tribulation period.
The Household of God Church
Christians cannot be made to experience the flagitious rule of the Antichrist, because His words are, “I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Mat 16:18). The verbal ‘prevail against’ is the Greek word katischuo (kat-iy-schï ’-ō) ‘to have power over, to overpower, to overcome; to come to one’s full strength.’ What is katischuo saying in this verse?
I. There will be no conflict that will prove the Antichrist to have power over us –the Christians.
II. It is not possible for any force of the enemy to overcome the Church.
III. The Antichrist, Satan’s progeny of perdition, cannot exercise the full strength of his satanic flagitiousness on us.
IV. A proof of the facticity that he cannot force Christians to wear his odious branding of 666.
The exhortatory prognostication of Jesus says that Christians cannot be devastated by the force of the enemy. Amen!
Folks, this is why you just must be born again (John 3:7) before your earthly time is up! Pray the prayer of all prayers: the one that gets you born again. Are you ready? It must come from the core of your heart, and believing every word. Here we go; say:
Dear heavenly Father, I come to you now, in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe in my heart that Jesus died for my sins. I believe that You raised Him from the dead (for my justification). I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord, and I receive Him as my Lord and Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!
