Sun, stand still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon

 (Continued from part one)

Joshua’s walk with the Lord emboldened him to do the impossible, “….and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon” [Joshua 10:12]. The command yielded an unprecedented positive result as it is testified in the 13th verse, “And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.” His inexorable stance concerning his affinity with God made him articulate the famous scriptural, “….but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD” [Joshua 24:15].

Deborah and her unflinching faith and obedience to the dictates of the word of Jehovah is the preoccupation of this uncompromising woman. As Deborah’s giantess’ strides, so the achievements of the one whose mind is stayed on the Lord. The uncompromising one attracts Godly, success loving people, all because they see in you a certain perpendicularity of righteousness that eases access to the throne of mercy as we read in Judges 4:8, “And Barak said unto her, If thou wilt go with me, then I will go: but if thou wilt not go with me, then I will not go.”

Shadrach, Meshach & Abednego1

“…and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.” Amen!

The uncompromising virtue that welled up the veins of the four Hebrew teenagers is a challenge to get us enlisted in the spiritual war against the tendentious conspiracy of compromised empowerment. Satan’s first step was to induce an aura of languidness which changed what identified them with their nativity: Israel.

Belteshazar, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were originally Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah respectively, who had their names changed to birth them into a new compromising concept. One who is thoroughly baptized into the didactic notion of the scriptures will not allow himself to be an agent of conspiracy against God’s command. They tore up, therefore, the fake habiliments of Babylonian nomenclature, tearing them into shreds to hoist the spiritual nationalism of Israel. Israel, in Hebrew, is Yiśrâ’êl (yis-raw-ale’) meaning: ‘he will rule (as) God.’ Israel, technically, is ‘a prince by the side of Jehovah.’ They refused the gourmet of the zeitgeist. At the end of the story the several other youths looked good. But the uncompromising four Hebrew young boys did not only look best, they had the most prized wisdom which the emperor had spent so much seeking for. Amen.

mary

It pays to remain a virgin before marriage

Mary’s righteous disposition brought an angel Gabriel all the way from heaven; “And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 31) And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. 32) He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 33) And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end” [Luke 1:30-33].

God definitely knows how to surprise His own in the rewarding of diligence. Mary could not believe her ears in the 34th verse: “Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?” She could not believe that the millennial expectation of every woman was unbelievably fulfilled and that she was the very ,vessel incarnating the God of very God!

                                      Behold Joshua’s secret of success!

Each of these biblical heroes and heroines could have shot himself or herself in the foot, making a perfect walk with God an impossibility. Abraham would not have qualified for the epithetic: father of faith, patriarch of Israel, and friend of God. Job? Just imagine if Job had failed. What would have happened? Job would have turned God into a liar! Job would have disappointed God like millions do daily. Satan would have triumphed over him, and for the rest of his life he would be licking his sorrowful wounds. David knew how to approach –from his heart– the LORD his God. It paid handsomely.

Genesis-39-9

It is best imagined what could have been the outcome if Joseph had succumbed to Satan’s offer of the fornication with his master’s wife. His unwavering loyalty to the word of God changed his slavery status, out of the gulag of condemnation, to become the number two lord of the ancient superpower Egypt, and to whom all bowed. He could have destroyed the offer of God’s privilege which enabled him to champion the preservation of God’s people, the Israelites. History would not have awarded him with any biblical heroism.

Use your God given talent to His glory. He will ask you to account for its use.

Who would have known Mary if she had just as made the mistake of committing just one seemingly innocuous sexual act in her life, before marriage? One act of fornication would have broken her virginity, rendering her absolutely ineligible to conceive the Saviour of the world! One illicit sex would have disqualified her womb from the actualization of the Incarnation! All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any;” says Paul in1Corinthians 6:12. So many useless, inconsequential habits and deeds have ruined humanity. Too bad!

Shadrach, Meshach & Abednego2

The LORD stands by non-conformists to reward them

Today we discuss the heroism of the teenage Hebrew boys who decided to go the way of Jehovah. If not for his righteous heart, David would never have been able to set the normative for the good rulership of Israel’s kingdom. “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee;” of Psalm 119:11, was, doubtless David’s daily song. Amen! (Concluded)

NO COMPROMISE (one)

Did Daniel die in the ruinous den of ferocious lions? No! So, don’t compromise.

He is an exceptionally great sportsperson. This guy who has won so many laurels has, for so many occasions, been invited to join the secret cults of masonry but had for that many times declined. His sole reason being, “I’m already in the secret cult of JESUS.” As a Christian he believes he is 110,000% wholly Jesus’, therefore, there, ostensibly, is no room left to join another cult.

Anytime he is poised to score a good point an invisible dart will just fly towards his direction to maim him. An angel sends the dart off his direction, into the belly of the ground. There were times when the satanic weapons were sent back to the evil culprits, maiming or sniffing out their lives outright. Tongues begin to wag à la press publications. Little did they know that Psalm 91:5, “Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;” was at work from the Lord whom this great footballer confesses as his Lord and Saviour.

book_of_job_3_friends

For I know that my redeemer liveth,” he said, in Job 19:25

He was Abrahamic resolute, walking the walk side by side his Jehovah. He would not trade-off his covenantal position with Jehovah for anything. In the face of aggravating vicissitudinary turns of life he becomes the philosophical Job in equanimity. Of course she is a Mary who, in expectation of her Lord’s demand, kept herself from youthful concupiscent inclination, thereby, making her matrix available for the LORD’s use.

He asked himself what Joseph’s stance would be if he were an athlete and found out, from the scriptures, that he would certainly have stuck to his uncompromising integrity. Hear an uncompromising Joseph in Genesis 39:9, “There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” (Emphasis mine).

Yes, David walked a route meant for a dastard when he ordered the assassination of Uriah, the husband of Bathsheba, whom he was committing adultery with, but this same David always knew how to come back to the Father and he never forsook the worship of Jehovah all the days of his historic life; and in this wise he trod the path of David.

ALIANZA CON ABRAHAM

Abraham, the father of faith.

“And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect” [Gen 17:1]. The verb ‘walk,’ is hâlak (haw-lak’): ‘to walk (in a great variety of applications, literally and figuratively), lifestyle.’ Abraham chose a lifestyle that put a smile on the divine countenance of Jehovah. ‘Perfect’ is tâmı̂ym (taw-meem’): ‘entire (literally, figuratively or morally); also (as noun) integrity, truth.’ Abraham’s integrity remained in one piece; he died at an eld of one hundred and seventy-five years, having run an enviable race.

The book of Job 2:9-10 reads, 9) “Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die. 10) But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips. The word ‘integrity,’ tûmmâh (toom-maw’) means, ‘innocence.’

blakejob_color21

Job’s ‘no compromise’ stand paid off. Amen.

Job’s innocence and obdurate fidelity earned him one of the biggest earthly biblical rewards. “And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before” [Job 42:10]. This, no doubt, made him the richest man on earth! Your story can end so beautifully like Job’s: “Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold. 12) So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses. 13) He had also seven sons and three daughters. 14) And he called the name of the first, Jemima; and the name of the second, Kezia; and the name of the third, Kerenhappuch. 15) And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren. 16) After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons’ sons, even four generations” [Job 42:10-16].

My advice is, “Don’t compromise.”

It is a well-known fact that Job was, personally, guiltless of the predicament he found himself. He faced his trials with a certain equanimity. Tribulations are good for us. They teach us how to wear the fitting robe of patience. It is getting worse these days after six thousand years of Adam’s unfortunate act that has plunged man into this quaggy state of depravity. Knowing fully well that God has imbued every individual with the spirit of equanimity, it is quite expedient for him to exploit this virtue to his own advantage when he gets ambushed in a trial. It will always rear up its head: trial.

009-joseph-potiphar

“How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?”

The no-compromise person remembers Joshua and Deborah. Joshua’s strength is predicated on, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success” [Joshua 1:8].

WHY WILL GOD ALLOW CERTAIN THINGS? (part five)

 new_jerusalem_med

New Jerusalem Temple coming down to the new earth of Jehovah

That true greatness is not found in individual’s greatness, but in the individual’s ability to make others great is incontestable. The majestic splendour of God will manifest when the view of the new world is dotted with gods. The Holy Spirit anointed inhabitants of the new earth will metamorphose into gods, each of us, probably, will represent a particular splendid radiance of Jehovah. Existing around the earth will be gods of divine radiance like the stars of the dark sky. Each of the billions showing off different glorious radiance of Divinity. A spectacle to behold!

Moses saw God

Moses saw the back side of the LORD God

God’s true splendor cannot be captured by these billions of gods. So, what is going to happen is that each blessed one will have to change from one colour to another effulgence of divine brilliance, and each hue will not look really like others, simply because this is what God truly is. Unfathomable! As we depict HIS glory, so we will be falling down in worship of the Most High in Spirit and in truthfulness of it. This is a unique phenomenon! This mundane show of His glory will continue for eternity. His ability to deify His created beings is the true greatness of Him, who was, who is, and is to come, the LORD, the LORD God Almighty! Every available space on earth will reflect the true glory of HIS Person. This is what Lucifer, the erstwhile head of the angels, bestially craved for.

The Devil’s detestation of Christians is based on the fact that we will inherit the LORD God Himself. We are the heirs of the eternal God. Our heirship is from eternity to eternity. Like the LORD God, we are eternally good; and the diminishing returns of gerontological deficiency can never creep into our glorious life. Christ’s life is ours. The long we live the more glory of Him who sits eternally on the throne we exude.

When we meet to commune, it is the communion of Divinity. When we greet one another it is a holy greetings of Divinity. Our only focal entity will be the Father and the Lamb. Egoism would have long been thrown into hell, where it rightly belongs.

10-jealousy-4-728

Satan egoistically communed with himself in his quest for divinity. He shunned the council of the Holy Spirit. The irrelevance of the Holy Spirit for him, rendered him irrelevant. He lost eternal blissful existence before the Creator. This great angel had lost it forever. He, therefore, in his maniacal self, is doing all he can to push man away from this unprecedented glory that God has planned for mankind. He is doing all he can to disparage John 3:3. He is fighting tooth and nail to keep man from actualizing Romans 10:9-10. He knows what a regenerated one stands to inherit. He knows what a massive second chance humanity is endowed with. He, consequently, set up religions, myriads of them, to marginalize the efficacious truth of spiritual regeneration inherent in Christianity.

Lucifer has injected the foetus of every matrix with a certain venom that enhances your disparaging stance of Jesus. That deceptive potion gives one a spiritual taste bud that craves for the religious meals provided by those beliefs. Before you know it you are already believing in the Eastern didactic karmic reality. You are sold to Masonic cultic way of life. The jihadic offer of 72 virgins of Islamic religious stance begin to appeal to your palate. The ontological paradigm of your ancestral belief, the custodians of which are the demonic familiar spirits, continue to fascinate your psyche. The relevance of divine counsel of the Holy Spirit: its repudiation, is the reason for this satanic design

mt-sinai-drawing                          God spoke directly with the Israelites on Mount Sinai

The Spirit has sent so many messages into your heart. Be wise. Apprehend the relevance of His messages. Get born again. Belong to Jesus, and you are settled eternally. Let us see the biblical relativities.

*True greatness= John 14:12, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.”

*New earth= 2Peter 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Revelation 21:1-5, 23. Verse one says, And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.” The word ‘new’ is the Greek kainos (kai-nos’): ‘new (especially in freshness); it speaks of renovation.’ Our earth will be renovated and made more spacious.

moses and the glory ofthe lord

Moses squinched when he saw the back side of Jehovah

* God’s true splendour = Isaiah 48:12-13.

*Satan communed with himself = Isaiah 14:14, I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

*Lucifer has injected the foetus = Revelation 12:4, 9, & 12 and verse 9 is, And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

*The Spirit has sent messages= Matthew 12:31-32; verse 31 says, Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. Confer Hebrews 10:26.   (Conclusion)

WHY WILL GOD ALLOW CERTAIN THINGS? (part four)

01a057c39acf94fa60793faa03f6582d                                        Cain, you did ask for it, didn’t you?

(continued from part three)   It goes beyond a case of questioning His authority, you are actually insulting Jehovah when you try to play God. The excellence of God’s personage is so salient that the creation of man must truly be godlike in order not to marginalize His creative prowess. To Adam God imputed free moral agency.

God did brief Adam when he was made the lord of the earth. In the course of bringing her to Adam, God would, no doubt, have briefed the woman on her ‘help meet for him’ role. While Adam was ‘to dress and to keep’ the Garden, the woman was to serve as a ‘help meet.’ ‘Dress’ is ‛âbad (aw-bad’) ‘to work (in any sense); by implication to serve, till, (causatively) enslave, etc.’ ‘Help meet’ in Hebrew, is ‛êzer (ay’-zer): ‘aid;’ this word comes from ‛âzar (aw-zar’): ‘to surround, that is, protect or aid.’

1372004275_Forbidden fruit (always the best)

Man was made a free moral agent

The woman that God brought was a bodyguard; whose job was to support her husband by agreeing with him, who is the lord, priest and the prophet of Eden and consequently the earth. They were absolutely responsible for their action or inaction. It was a mark of gross perfidy when Cain defiantly asked, “Am I my brother’s keeper?” These words were the proof of an apodeictic apostasy. The word ‘keeper’ is shâmar (shaw-mar’): ‘properly to hedge about (as with thorns), that is, guard; generally to protect, attend to, etc.’ Shâmar is the same word God used when He told Adam to ‘keep’ the Garden. The eternally uprightness of God’s word of instruction became despicable to Cain’s warped perception. “I don’t need Your instructions, I’ll rather protect myself,” were the words of Cain. God allowed him to stray into oblivion. Cain was tested. He failed.

As many ladies lived unaccompanied by the word of God, that so many got mesmerized by the attractiveness of the cruel, fallen angels of Lucifer. The consequence of free moral agency misapplication. God desires to populate the creation with intelligent, free moral agents. You, as an individual, most definitely know what is appropriate. You desire good things and acquire those things. There are situations we detest. We go to all extent to ensure their impossibility. The things we deprecate, unfortunately, are the things many humans mete out to others. Egotism. Cupidity. Man’s pretensions are quite alarming.

robotblog

A robot isn’t a free moral agent, but the offspring of Adam is.

A robot cannot pretend to be anything else. It is programmed for its activities. God wants beings who can receive anointing for deification. Those who, willingly, will decide to follow God’s will are the creatures of His dream. Fall short of His dream and you have become a daydreamer. Any desire outside Christ is a falsehood of reverie. The tragedy is that too many lack the righteousness of Jesus.

If any will do what will be pleasing unto the Lord, he must meditate on, and comply with Romans 12:2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” The present continuous ‘renewing’ is anakainōsis (an-ak-ah’-ee-no-sis) ‘renovation, complete change for the better;’ while ‘transformed’ is metamorphoō (met-am-or-fo’-o) ‘to transform (literally or figuratively “metamorphose”).’

Satan will most certainly run evil thoughts through your mind. A design to make you place the onus of your predicament on God. What Job said in Job 1:21, “….the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD;” is a scriptural anomaly. Was it not Satan who did evil to him? God does not do evil. HE should never be castigated for any misfortune. In James 1:13-27; verses 13-14 read: 13) “Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: 14) But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.” I will always be responsible for all my actions, and you are to take the full responsibility for whatever happens to you.

18_Jb_02_03_RG

Curse God and die,” his wife ill advised.

I have always made sure I never, for any reason, fling an iota of blame at God for any misfortune I find myself in. ‘Tempted’ is the Greek word peirazō (pi-rad’-zo) ‘to test (objectively), that is, endeavor, scrutinize, entice, discipline.’ Put contextually, ‘tempted’ has to do with ‘enticement to sin,’ going by the fact that peirazō as temptation has two grand meanings, ‘solicitation to sin, and trial from providential situation or circumstances.’

God will never be an accomplice to an evil act of sin. The words ‘drawn away’ is exelkō (ex-el’-ko). This is what Thayer Definition says: ‘to draw out, metaphorically: lure forth: in hunting and fishing as game is lured from its hiding place, so man by lure is allured from the safety of self-restraint to sin.’ In James 1:14, the language of the hunting is transferred to the seduction of a harlot.’ From Strong’s Definition: ‘to drag forth, that is, (figuratively) to entice (to sin).’ Sincerely speaking, this is where the generality of mankind is guilty.

At the end of all these trials those who decide to use their free moral agency Christ-like will be deified. Everywhere on earth, it will be god here god there. God, god, god of deified man, gloriously everywhere! Amen.      (…to be concluded…)

WHY WILL GOD ALLOW CERTAIN THINGS? (part three)

XIR84999

The vicissitude of the righteous Job

(…continued from part 2)

There is no doubt that the beings who became demons had a way of contacting their Creator. They would rather be fed with lies. They forsook the LORD, their God to their own peril.

Adam was another intelligent person. He was endowed with an immense wisdom. Did the LORD God not show up every evening to commune with the first Adamic couple? Did the LORD not appear well garbed while they sat before their God in stark nakedness? Did Adam’s intelligence prompt him to expect the LORD to show up, in one of those days, with a glorious toga befitting Adam, the lord of the earth? Why would Adam throw the futuristic glorious opportunity on the scrapheap, in a direct opposition to the Maker, only to take sides with a woman who was no less than a walking cadaver? You cannot allow your spouse to separate you from the love of the LORD.

images3

John 10:24, Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly. Their unbelief had affected their souls. Unbelief is plainly a deviation from God’s desire. God kept them in the darkness of their choice. He cannot dwell together with unbelieving souls. Spiritual immaturity of humanity will view this as a weakness on the part of God, which is not so: for God’s immutability is the proof of His strength. Amen.

Job. If he had not gone through that harrowing experience, he probably would not have agreed to ventilate Job 40:4, Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth. I can hear someone’s agitation: “You mean God had to take him through that excruciating and debilitating pains just to make him say that?” You have no idea what is at stake here. We are talking about an acquirement of celestial citizenry. God, in His wisdom, has decided that Job had all it took to undergo the trial. Job, fortunately, did not disappoint the LORD God, his God.

ahab-pierced-by-an-arrow

King Ahab paid dearly for rejecting Jehovah

Why will God allow a lying spirit to deceive Ahab in 1Kings 22:22, And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so. King Ahab decided to dump the God of his ancestry, the One who made a covenant with faithful Abraham. God does not force anyone to serve Him: He is looking for those who will do John 4:23, But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. Ahab, by his action, did call God a liar. A spirit that would deceive Ahab, according to God’s judgment would not be out of place.

sodomgomorrah04

The only family that survived the annihilation of Sodom and Gomorrah

The story of Sodom and Gomorrah in Genesis 19:24 reveals, Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven; 25. And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground. What right had a man to force his sexual immorality upon a fellow man? The visitors that Lot thought wise to lavish a comfortable hospitality on are the very ones the evil Sodomites decided to violate, not knowing that they were messing with heavenly visitants. Only if they had known!

Jericho is a type of the world. Jericho means ‘fragrant’; and figuratively it speaks of yareach (yaw-ray’-akh) (or Yrechow): ‘the moon’ and ruwach (roo’-akh) 1. (properly) to blow, i.e. breathe 2. (literally, only) to smell 3. (by implication) perceive 4. (figuratively) to anticipate, enjoy.’ Jericho refused to give off good smell; would not shine and breathe the life that glorifies Jehovah. Joshua, whose name means ‘Jehovah is Saviour’ went round Jericho to preach of the salvation but Jericho would not accept Jehovah. God destroyed it.

204a_JerichoFalls

There’s a reason why Jericho fell

2Thessalonians 2:11, And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12. That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” The above punishment will be meted out on those who would worship the Antichrist. Jesus did warn us in the holy writ when He told His disciples in Matthew 24:14, And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. To disbelieve the word of God is tantamount to calling God a liar! They shunned the truth. They will be fed with the lies of the one whom they believed: the enemies, that is.     (…to be concluded…)
