IS IT WRONG TO CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS ON THE 25TH DECEMBER? (part one)

 

Does the word of God agree with the 25^th of December birthday of Jesus? The answer is an emphatic, “No!” Was this practice idolatrous, originally? Yes, of course. Would it not be right to apprise Christians of the involvement of heathen implication of December 25th Christmas celebration? Honestly speaking, I do not see the reason why the Church should abrogate the memorialization of the Nativity on every 25th of December, regardless of Nimrodic sun worship of Baal devotedness.

Nimrodic sun adoration began with Cain, who had to go eastward to build the city of Enoch, ostensibly given the baleful direction by Satan, the Devil. None can venture the name of Cain’s wife probably because Satan was trying to ape God by having his dark church in cultic concealment. Enter Nimrod, and Luciferian worship went full blast globally. As the original Baal and sun, idolatrous god, Nimrod’s deity was reportedly commemorated every 25th December.

Sundry tales wound reportedly around this 25th. One of them being that, Semiramis, the mother and wife of Nimrod, instituted the 25th to monumentalize her king, husband and lord as the sun god. They had a son, Tammuz, with whom the idolatrous trinity of Babylonian religion was completed. Babel, the centre of sun god worship is, from Hebrew Bābhél, which from Akkadian, is Bāb-ilu, literally: ‘gate of God.’ Which god, for it is certainly not of Jehovah? It is incontrovertibly of Baal, the Nimrodic sun deity of Satanism. Baal worship was engendered by a self-deification pampered by an inebriation of humanism.

After the disruption of Babel’s elusive dream by Jehovah, the vagrant Lucifer shifted the heinous enterprise to the next global super-power. To Egypt, the cradle of modern civilisation, a replica of Nimrodic trinity, he went to set it up. Osiris, in Egypt, is the chief, sun god. His worshipped wife is Isis, the moon goddess and to perfect the trinity is Horus, their deified son. These were passed on to Nebuchadnezzar’s Babylon in different designates. Greece conquered the world with the backing of Greek versions of these same gods. Even Rome was not left out in the global sun worship. Catholicism of the Pope picked the pieces of the relics of Nimrod and incorporated into the Roman Catholic Church.

Catholicism had continued to prove stiff necked in her adoration of Mary as ‘Mother of God?’ Let me uncloak this doctrine. Semiramis was both wife and mother of Nimrod. She was also deified as ‘the mother of god.’ The mother and child depiction is a syndromic phenomenon of spiritual capitulation. Semiramis is presented giving suck to baby Tamuuz in Baal worship. Baby Horus is also portrayed clutching his Isis mother. This is the Catholic spiritual connectivity. How do I know? The Bible, God’s protocol does not in anywhere establish spiritual mother/son adoration. There is no motherhood in the heavenly assizes! Deceivers are bound to goof! Thank God for that. Smart ones will see through them and keep away from them. Amen!

Roman Emperor Constantine

It was in the year 336 AD that the Roman Emperor Constantine pronounced December 25th as the birth date of Jesus. Years later in 350 AD Pope Julius I declared December 25 the official date that Christ was born, and from then it was celebrated by Christians worldwide. That Catholic Pope did not receive the instruction from the Holy Spirit and neither was it from Jesus. Maybe he did it to invite the heathenish world into Christianity, but, must it be in the fashion of heathenism? From all the indications of Catholicism, Pope Julius I knew exactly what he was doing. He was putting finishing touches to the religious syncretistic desideration of the Roman Catholic Church. Jesus arrived into our world when none expected.

The nativity: True Incarnation

God, no doubt, made sure none kept the record of the exact date. It was His Divine incarnation. If He has no beginning and no ending why should the parturition of His humanity receive a public knowledge? It would not surprise me if Jesus was born on a Sunday. Creationism commenced on day one. It ended on day six. On the seventh day, the Sabbath, He rested. And that day was the first Saturday of the creation of our world. Sinfulness is quite mysterious. Unseen hand goads you into adventurous evil. The deceiver makes you enjoy the immorality. For unknown reason you want to continue in it! Astounding!

Ghoulish slaughter of sacrificial scapegoats is believed to be the order on the altars of Freemasonry and the Illuminati. Voodooism and its attendant dreadful secrecy cut across Africa and South America. Baal worship, which drew God’s ire to the point of giving them up for destruction, has received a modern touch. Kabbalah is the choice of Jewry, God’s own chosen nation. Governments are cultic. Businesses belong to the initiates alone. The fear of the Most High, to them, is nil. Bad.

Those who, like Paul, will, with all sincerity of their knowledge filled hearts, say, “…for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day;” (of 2 Timothy 1:12) do understand who and what God is. It is evidently crystal that it is impossible to waylay God. Nothing, absolutely, takes Him by surprise. Is He not the Omniscient? Let us read some scriptural truisms from Isaiah 40:12-25. Verse 12, “Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?” In the hollow of his hand, and not even both hands? Well I understand that Disney of Hollywood will, effortlessly, put it on the silver screen, but certainly not without the gimmicks of cinematography and the dexterity of seasoned acting, however.

Verses 13 and 14 rhetorically require answers concerning His knowledge. If verse 15 makes the a categorical “Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance: behold, he taketh up the isles as a very little thing;” and that of 16 “And Lebanon is not sufficient to burn, nor the beasts thereof sufficient for a burnt offering;” beams great lights on God’s majestic preeminence. Lebanon is famed for the best trees. Put the trees and all the expensive animals of Lebanon together and it will be too insufficient to serve as a proper sacrifice before His supreme Majesty, says the language divinely given to the historian and prophet Isaiah. Driving the truth home is the 17th “All nations before him are as nothing; and they are counted to him less than nothing, and vanity.” It is now apropos for another rhetorical question of the 18th “To whom then will ye liken God? or what likeness will ye compare unto him?”  The 19th and the 20th both serve as an intimation of the folly of any comparison with the Most High.

One glaring and immutable truth I have learnt about God is that any moment He approaches with a question there is never an answer that will favour the respondent. So, what we read in verse 21, “Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth?” actually prepares the sober minded one for: “It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in: 23. That bringeth the princes to nothing; he maketh the judges of the earth as vanity;” the 22nd & 23rd verses to be well digested. This is, so that the effusive 24th, “Yea, they shall not be planted; yea, they shall not be sown: yea, their stock shall not take root in the earth: and he shall also blow upon them, and they shall wither, and the whirlwind shall take them away as stubble:” having been understood, there cannot arise any iota of the slightest misconception at any given moment when we read Isaiah 40 of the 25th verse, “To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One?” I heard someone whisper, “It’s a rhetoric question, needing no answer,” and to which I say, “Amen!”       (Concluded)

CAN GOD WALK INTO AN AMBUSH? (two)

 

(Continued from part 1)                Exodus 15:8 is the proclamation of His Omnipotence. It reads: “And with the blast of thy nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap, and the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea.” Awesome! And God alone is! Confer Acts 26:8; Rev. 19:6; Job 37:23 and God’s speech of Job 38:31-35, 39:1-20, 40:9 & 41:1-7. In Genesis 17:1, “And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect:” not seeing God’s physical representation. But in Genesis 18:14, “Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son,” a physical palpability of Him sits before the physical being of Abraham. Was Abraham not glad (John 8:56) to see Jehovah? Only the Omnipotent can afford the rhetoric, “Is any thing too hard for the LORD?” Amen.

“Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off? 24. Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD” [Jeremiah 23:23-24]. The word ‘fill’ is, in the Hebrew, male’ (maw-lay’): ‘1. full (literally or figuratively) 2. (literally) filling 3. (concretely) fulness 4. (adverbially) fully.’ God sees all things and persons in all the universe at every time and all the time! This is an affirmative omnipresence of Jehovah. Awesome. The LORD God alone is. The incontestability of God’s omniscience has a verifiability in Isaiah 46:9-10, “Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, 10. Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure.” And this clearly is the reason why God does not play games, and anyone, for this reason, who tries to play hide and seek with Jehovah must be stupid! Other verses of His omniscience are: Genesis 6:5; 1Samuel 2:3; Job 12:22, 21:22 & 28:24.

Who can lay any ambush to the disadvantage of God with these three immanent nature of His? Even if He lacks those qualities His divine presence alone will throw all enemies into oblivious extinction! People just do not realise the ineffable power that God wields. As Reverend Chris Okotie puts it interrogatively, “From where do you begin to fight God, is it from the eternity past or from the eternity to come?” And may I contribute my own query: “Or is it in this present phenomenal, sinful decadence of man’s world?” He is bigger than the earth, in fact our Milky Way galaxy is smaller than Him. The Lord is larger than the entire universe!

The diameter of the universe has a calculated distance of 92 billion light years. Bringing this down to our earthly measurement is like this: 1 light year is approximately 9,460,730,472,580.8 kilometers or 5,878,625,373,183.6 miles. Multiply 92 billion by 9.4 trillion and you will arrive at staggering 540,833,534,332,836,000,000,000 miles or 870,387,214,377,360,000,000,000 kilometers! A billion in USA and Canada is calculated thousand million in Britain, France and Germany. Trillion and quintillion of USA are counted thousand billion and thousand trillion respectively in Britain. The earth’s diameter above, in words, reads like this. Eight hundred and seventy sextillion, three hundred and eighty seven quintillion, two hundred and fourteen quadrillion, three hundred and seventy seven trillion, three hundred and sixty billion kilometers. Quite an arithmetic figure! The volume of the universe will be 870,387,214,377,360,000,000,000 × 22/7 × 4/3 cubic km.

    To whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?

A reason for these numbers is to show the inconceivably beyond-belief humongous, jaw-breaking magnitude of God’s stature. Another reason, lamentably, is that the terribleness of His inevitable judgment on His enemies does absolutely nothing as a deterrent. They keep fashioning devices of iniquitous existence. One scripture that holds me spellbound is the eschatological Revelation 16:9, “And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.” The word ‘blasphemed’ comes from the Greek blasphēmeō (blas-fay-meh’-o): ‘to vilify; specifically to speak impiously.’  ‘Repented’ is metanoeō (met-an-o-eh’-o): ‘to think differently or afterwards, that is, reconsider (morally to feel compunction).’     (…to be concluded…)

CAN GOD WALK INTO AN AMBUSH? (one)

Ask an atheist and he will come up with, “Do I even believe in his existence?” His final conclusion will be, “Of course, yes, all things being equal.” What will be the response of Paul Tillich, whose theology is based upon ontological assumptions? Desiderius Erasmus (1466-1536) the Dutch humanist, will, no doubt, receive a nudge from Humanism in his answer. And it is indubitable what Friedrich W. Nietzsche’s assertion, the author of the teaching, “God is dead” will be. It is most evident that Rev. Chris Okotie, my pastor’s, answer is an emphatic, “No way!”

This topic, to many, sounds so puerile. You will appreciate the germaneness if you are apprised of philosophical foray into theology. Most atheists in an acute obduracy are of the conclusion that, “since this God can’t be accessed….He’s dead;” in their submission. Paul Tillich, a university professor and doctorate degree holder in philosophy is also a Professor of Theology. To him, “the word ‘theology’ conveys the meaning of logos (reasoning) and theos (God and divine things). This places him in the philosophical understanding that God is to be reasoned out! Tillich said that faith is not knowledge, he claims to know. His apologetic theology sees pistis (faith) as gnosis (knowledge) in his reading of the New Testament, which easily arrays him in the toga of a latter-day Gnostic. He sees Jesus as the New Being, a pointer to his Hegelian induction.

From his ontological romance, Tillich wrote, “If we say that something is living, we indicate that it is dying.” His Hegelian immersion made him see God as developing from Being: the trinitarian Father is the Power of Being, whom he dialectically set up as the Hegelian new theses standing in antithesis to Logos (Jesus), from which comes a synthesis (Holy Spirit).

The only reason why an avowed Humanist like Desiderius Erasmus would dabble into Church matters is just to muddy the waters of the kerygma, using his excellent ebullience to paint it with humanistic colours. He provided enough support for Martin Luther’s cause but stuck unexpectedly with Catholicism. Erasmus’ ‘Christian’ humanism had blossomed forth in the movement’s confidence that man is quite well able to do without God because he can find absolute and radical freedom from all moral laws in a Christ who has become united with fallen humanity. I believe the reason why Erasmus would not join Luther was not farfetched. He still bowed to Mary, he believed in Catholicism, and is comfortable with transubstantiation: all of which the true Church would reject.

Friedrich W. Nietzsche

Nietzsche wrote a book, “The Madman” where he put the words, “death of God” his Madman cried, “Do we not hear anything yet of the noise the grave diggers who are burying God? Do we not smell anything yet of God’s decomposition? Gods too decompose. God is dead” (Madman). A whole lot of philosophers and theologians gave their active support e.g. Paul Tillich, Rudolf Bultmann, T.J.J. Altizer (who said, “God has actually died), Martin Buber (God is merely an eclipse), Bonhoeffer (who believes that, “Man is now self-sufficient and has no need of God”) and William Blake. These people have quite a large followership.

From the Bible, my sole reference point, which I have studied very well, Jehovah, the God of the Christian Bible, can only be seen, heard and understood by faith. Hypocrisy reigns so effortlessly in the hearts of humanity. Man takes one look at the weather and decides, “I don’t need an umbrella.” He believes his political leader’s promise. “I’ll pass this examination.” When it comes to the Creator he refuses to expend the same faith. He does not know that the enemy is the one behind his nonconformist Gibraltar obduracy. Satan always goes into hiding to set people against the Lord of creation.

The stark reality is that this God of heaven and the earth is the only good One; and that He has carefully planted His true existence inside every living entity. Anyone who denies Him is being stubbornly unrealistic. There are actually two forces. Your repudiation of the good One automatically attracts the evil enemy. You must come to the good God by faith, therefore. Lucifer turns you from this good Jehovah by handing you a useless toy called calculation of empiricism, in the name of philosophy, which takes you on an endless journey of unproductiveness.

Get Jesus Involved (2)

I KNOW MY REDEEMER LIVETH

(Continued from the 1^st part)

Even within the confinement of an excruciating pangs of satanic attack, Job continued to hold onto his guard of faith when he made the famous scriptural pronouncement, “I know my Redeemer liveth” (Job 19:25). He had involved God, his Redeeming Jesus Christ. Amen. The word ‘know’ is yada` (yaw-dah’) ‘to know; (properly) to ascertain by seeing; observe, care and recognize.’ ‘Redeemer’ is ga’al (gaw-al’) ‘1. to redeem (according to the Oriental law of kinship) 2. to be the next of kin (and as such to buy back a relative’s property, marry his widow, etc.) 3. kinsman redeemer 4. (in justice) avenger.’ All these definitions are of Jesus. Job’s involvement with the LORD God gave him the knowledge of an eternal Redeemer. Amen!

            “….for whither thou goest, I will go… and thy God my God”

Her submission of “….for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God;” in the book of Ruth 1:16, was what got Jesus involved in her predicament. Ruth had, with that asseveration, cut off the idolatrous umbilical cord that did bind her to the Moabite gods. With Christ’s involvement, her life was now being managed by divine operative. The active ‘goest’ or ‘go’ is the Hebrew yalak (yaw-lak’) ‘1. (literally or figuratively) to walk 2. (causatively) to carry (in various senses);’ which when compared with halak (walking of Genesis 3:8) is ‘lifestyle.’ ‘Lodge’ is lûn (loon): ‘to stop (usually over night); by implication to stay permanently.’ This woman represents the Church, the body of Christ. Her walk has involved Jesus for all eternity. Praise the LORD!

Daniel prayed toward Jerusalem

Daniel involved Jesus when he opened the window towards Jerusalem in Daniel 6:10 for he remembered the 1Kings 8:44 supplication of Solomon. He had, from his teenage days, been involving the Christ, when he rejected the king’s food of idolatry.  And by time he had become an elderly man Daniel’s involvement with the LORD was total. He had come to an absolute trust in Jehovah and did not want to depart from Him.

David had always been very close to the Lord his God. In the book of 1Samuel 17:36, he said, “Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God.” David did not give himself the credit for his achieved feat. He gave it to the Lord, Jesus Christ, whom he had always involved in his affairs. Hear him in verse 37 “David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.”

Having involved Jesus, young, inexperienced David dared Goliath!

Goliath oppressed David with, “Come to me, and I will give thy flesh unto the fowls of the air, and to the beasts of the field;” in verse 44, after having cursed David by his idolatrous gods. David did not waste time to involve the LORD God in 1Samuel 17:45 “Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.” Goliath came with three things representing the consummation of Satanism. The first time we see a sword in scripture is in Genesis 3:24, in the hand of an angel impeding an entry into Eden. A blockage to any progression.

Spear or javelin was first seen in Cain, whose name, in Hebrew, is qayin (kah’-yin) BDB Definition: Kenite = “smiths.” It is the same as another qayin (kah’-yin): ‘spear: in the sense of fixity; a lance (as striking fast) (with a play upon the affinity to qânâh (kaw-naw’): ‘to get, acquire, create, buy, possess.’ Cain was too much of himself to seek the protection. He had possessed all by his strength.

Get Jesus involved and become a warrior!

The birth of Cain was to bring into effect, the strengthening of the protection of God’s word. Cain chose not to involve the Lord. He got the ruinous Lucifer involved in his earthly affairs. Jesus, the LORD God of the Eden abode, had to clothe the erring couple with the righteousness of the sacrifice which prefigured Him and that was the shield that protected them from His anger. Verse 46) “This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.”

“…for the battle is the LORD’S”

David’s confidence in the LORD’s involvement emboldened him to speak words of destruction against the intention of an unrepentant enmity. 47)“And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD’S, and he will give you into our hands.” The very second you involve the LORD, the battle becomes His, then the sword that makes progress impossible, and the satanic javelin set against you becomes inoperative, leading to a capitulation of the enemy’s neck of pride under your feet! Get Jesus Involved (1)

All you need to do is to get Jesus involved in any boisterous satanic bullying and the gargantuan frightening opponent will be nothing more than a ranting of a braggadocio.

The Bible says that “When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him” (Isaiah 59:19). The word ‘standard’ in Hebrew is nûs (noos) ‘to flit, that is, vanish away (subside, escape; causatively chase, impel, deliver).’ When Abraham believed in the LORD, hoping against hope for a child, it was Jesus Christ that he actually involved in that historical show of faith. And when the trial of all trials came knocking at the door of his faith he still believed God to do something for he said, “…..My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together” [Gen 22:8].

How do I know it is Christ? Abraham spoke face to face with the epiphany of the LORD God in Genesis 18:1, 7, 13, 17-33. God, the Father, will never vacate the celestial throne. The only visible Member of the Godhead can be none other than Jesus Christ. Amen.

It was Jesus Christ who followed the exodus of the Israelites that gave Moses the heroic gutsiness to chart an unheard-of path in the Red Sea which brought the raging, saline water at attention! When they were thirsty Christ stood on the torridity of a rock to provide abundance of the needed liquid to everyone’s satiation.

For the impossible to become a possibility, involve Jesus.

In the book of Judges 13:18 we read of an event which was a precursor to the birth of Samson, “And the angel of the LORD said unto him, Why askest thou thus after my name, seeing it is secret?” Manoah had involved Jesus when he prayed to God for a son. The epithet ‘angel of the LORD’ is, in many cases, the epiphany of the unseen Jehovah. This is the preincarnate manifestation of Christ Jesus. He said HIS name is ‘secret’ which in Hebrew is pil’ı̂y or pâlı̂y’ (pil-ee’) meaning: ‘wonderful, remarkable, incomprehensible, extraordinary.’ Who does the oracular afflatus call ‘wonderful’? It is the expected Messiah of Isaiah 9:6. It is Jesus the Christ. As many times Samson got Jesus involved he brought the extortionate belligerency of the enmity of the Philistines to their knees.

                                “…even the devils are subject unto us through thy name”

The disciples of Jesus followed the ascribed due process of an operation Jesus’ involvement, the result of which was captured in Luke 10:17, “And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.” Jesus is the reason for their spiritual feat in verse 18, “And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.” Michael led the angelic counter force, in the name of Christ, the Creator, against the first putsch by Lucifer, the Devil. On the cross of Calvary, Satan’s power went into enervation for as many who would invoke the involvement of Jesus in their vexatious predicaments.

They involved Jesus on behalf of Peter

What things have the evil ones expropriated from your ownership? The kind of which he did when he came to the nascent Church unawares and plucked off James. Take your authorized stand in the same fashion as the Church, when she began to call on the name of Jesus in Acts 12:5, “….but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.”  What type of prayer was offered by the church? It is called proseuchē (pros-yoo-khay’): ‘prayer addressed to God.’ Proseuchē comes from another word, proseuchomai (pros-yoo’-khom-ahee) ‘to pray to God, that is, supplicate, worship.’ Proseuchē  calls for supplication which gives a picture of an appeal from someone to a familiar person. Proseuchomai comes two words: pros (pros) ‘to the advantage of; at, near, by’ and euchomai (yoo’-khom-ahee) ‘to pray to God; to wish.’

In supplication they told God how they grew lethargic and lost James, a pillar giant of His ministry and after apologising made a proseuchē  unto God for a miraculous release of another giant of a pillar in the person of Peter. We understand that anyone who dared to free Peter would have had to face a treasonous charge, no doubt. But how do you slam a treasonable offence on the angel of Jesus, the Governor of the nations? Do not wait until you are dispossessed of something priceless. If the Church had not brought Jesus into the spiritual fray Peter would have been lost, probably, when he was most needed.

Use your faith, like the woman with the issue of blood, to involve Jesus.

 The Woman with the issue of blood was trammelled by the economy of the covenant of the old testamentary order. A woman having her periodical flow must not go near an ecumenical person or the temple. She heard of the liberating Jesus and wasted no time involving Him. And the emaciating shame of twelve, sanguinary years came to a miraculous end. Just like that! She brought Jesus into her picture when she uttered the faith filled, “If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.”  Two words stand out here: touch & whole. ‘Touch,’ in the Greek is haptomai (hap’-tom-ai) ‘(properly) to attach oneself to, i.e. to touch (in many implied relations).’ Sozo (sode’-zo) is the Greek for ‘whole’ and it means: ‘to save, i.e. deliver or protect.’ Only Jesus can save, deliver and protect. It was the involving ‘touch’ which led to her salvation.
