God spoke directly to the hearing of Israel.

2)            Psalm 68:30 “Rebuke the company of spearmen, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the people, till every one submit himself with pieces of silver: scatter thou the people that delight in war.” This psalmodic exaltation, sung on Davidic harp, commences with the first verse: “Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him” [Psalm 68:1]. David got this from the Mosaic “Rise up, LORD, and let thine enemies be scattered; and let them that hate thee flee before thee” [Numbers 10:35]. Like Moses, King David is invoking the conquering presence of his God to reprimand the world powers for taking sides with the Antichrist. The ‘spearmen’ are Arabs and Egyptians. The empire of Rome is the bestial bulls of the Antichrist, the beast from the bottom of the waters. It will take the bestiality of unregenerate hordes of calves known of arrogance of powerful nations to stand in defiance of the word of God. Unbelieving nations must be brought to their knees and be subject to the submission that will lead to submitting their substances to the King of kings, Jesus Christ. 

                Psalm 81:15 “The haters of the LORD should have submitted themselves unto him: but their time should have endured for ever.” Failure to be humbled before the thrice holy God brings a curse on a person’s life. Rejection of the Most High culminates in not partaking in the eventual blissful life in heaven. God wants to bless mankind with angelic life; that is the reason for His insistence on man’s submission to Him. 1Corinthians 2:9, “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”  True love must be an attraction of submissiveness. The word ‘love’ in this verse is agapao (a-ğa-paō’): ‘to love (in a social or moral sense).’ The requirement of obedience seen in the appropriateness of love is evinced in the words of Jesus found in John 14:15 “If ye love me, keep my commandments.”  Submission to God’s will comes with an unimaginability of eternal blissfulness.

“…through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ…”

                Romans 10:3 “For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.” Paul, in this verse, accuses the Jews of voluntarily ignoring God’s only plan of salvation, found only in Jesus Christ. Christ, appropriately, is the true righteousness of God, who is Himself deity according to Peter. 2Peter 1:1-2 “Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: 2) Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,” to whom the Jews have refused to submit. The true Greek rendition of “through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ” is in this wise: “in the knowledge of our God and Saiviour, Jesus Christ” or “in the righteousness of Him who is (at once) our God and (our) Saviour, Jesus Christ.” Jesus Christ, grammatically, is in apposition to ‘God and our Saviour’. Not submitting to Jesus is tantamount to showing disrespect to God the Father. How I know this is of the Scriptural, “I and my Father are one” (John 10:30), where the neuter ‘one’ is the Greek heis (hice) meaning: ‘one or essence’. Christ and the Eternal FATHER are of the same essence of Divinity.

                1Corinthians 16:16 “That ye submit yourselves unto such, and to every one that helpeth with us, and laboureth.” Paul enjoins the Church to submit to the authorities of Timothy and the family of Stephanas who were workers in the Church vineyard. They operate under the leadership of Paul, the Apostle of Jesus Christ and to reject them is a rejection of the Person of Jesus, the Saviour. For submissiveness to be apropos it must undergo Christ acclimatisation. Scriptural submission must be a certification of biblical couch. 

                Ephesians 5:21, “Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.” This Pauline verse teaches humility among children of God. This submission finds itself in the locational sphere of reverence to the word of God. It is not borne out of guileful pleasing art. Colossians 3:18 “Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.” Two things, I have always maintained, are the solutions to a successful marriage. The husband must love his wife; and the wife is scripturally expected to submit to her husband. ‘Submit’ in Greek is hupotasso (hï-po-tas’-sō): ‘1. to subordinate. 2. (reflexively) to obey.’ This Greek word comes from two roots of hupo (hï-po’) prep. ‘1. under. 2. (of place, genitive) beneath;’ and tasso (tas’-sō): ‘to arrange in an orderly manner.’ When you put hupotasso together what it says to the wife is: ‘package yourself very well and place it under your husband.’ The husband is the head of the family. The Greek for ‘head’ is kephale (ke-fa-lee’), meaning ‘the head (as the part most readily taken hold of); origin and source.’

He rose for our justification

Say this prayer, meaning it with all your heart:

“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”

OBEDIENCE AND SUBMISSION [one]

Jesus endured all the throes to engender the consummation of salvation (Hebrews 5:9)

1)            God’s protocol, the Bible, lays huge emphasis on obedience and submission. While obedience is a tug at man’s audibility to God’s express command, submission is an establishment of gregarious norm towards the LORD’s satisfaction. God’s obedience-demand is not borne out of the dictates of despotism. God is too good, too great, too holy and too powerful to be treated with a smidgeon of disobedience. He is the Creator of anything found in existence. The LORD God is the Owner of all beings, without Him nothing comes to fructification. It truly amounts to egregious barbarity for anyone just merely to allow the thought of disobedience to Jehovah to cross his mind. Submission to Him is to believe in His Divinity and His eternal suzerainty over His creation. The gospel truth is that, obedience to the word of God gives abundant favour to mankind.    

Submit:

                This is the first time the word ‘submit’ is used in the Bible “And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands” (Genesis 16:9). ‘Submit’ in this verse is `anah (aw-naw’): ‘1. to depress. 2. to humble (oneself). 3. to publicly humble another (i.e. chastise). 4. to intimately humiliate (a euphemism for forced sexual intercourse, rape).’ Properly, the first and second definitions are intended for Hagar towards her mistress, Sarai, the wife of Father Abram. Domineering proclivity of Satanism ordered the ungodly strides of mankind the moment the woman stretched forth her disobedient fingers to pluck from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Being the first to digest the philosophy of Lucifer, she had lost the divine ethics of submissiveness.

                Satan the Devil knew what he was aiming at when he goaded the woman to be the first to oppugn God’s word. Lucifer knew that by sowing views of divergency his anarchical intent would fructify. The minute a divergent view becomes a belief, the heart of its containerization puffs, having received the yeast of pollutive spread. Hagar suddenly found herself wearing the same sandals as her mistress the very moment she was given the legitimacy of sleeping with the lord and husband of her mistress. Sooner than later she hit the social jackpot. She was with a child, the child of none other personage than the great Abraham! Hagar saw herself as the mother of Abraham’s heir! She forgot where she was picked from. Hagar forgot the legality of Sarah’s ownership of her person. All that Satanism made her understood was her Gibraltar-like foothold she stood to have in Abraham’s household for giving him the heir Sarah could not produce all those decades of conjugation.

Cast out this bondwoman (Hagar) and her son (Ishmael).

                What played out in Eden assumed an encore of Satanism in the heart of Hagar. Submission is alien to a bodacious heart. It was quite unfortunate that Hagar would allow Lucifer to play his game of contumacious evil in her being. Unfortunately also, Hagar did not impress on her son, Ishmael, what the angel of God instructed her to do in order to enjoy God’s protection. I cannot find it anywhere in the Biblical documentation of Hagar’s apologetic words concerning the Mosaic couch of Genesis 21:9-10 “And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking. 10) Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac.”

Return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands

                Psalm 66:3 “Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.” This Psalm exhorts the reader to exalt the LORD God with this song. The word ‘terrible’ is yare’ (yaw-ray’): ‘1. to fear. 2. (morally) to revere. 3. (causative) to frighten.’ The portrayal of ‘awe’ is what ‘terrible’ is intended to reverentially impress in the mind of the worshipper of the Hebrew God. The word ‘greatness’ is the Hebraic rob (roɓe), meaning: ‘abundance (in any respect);’ and `oz (oze) or `owz (oze) [fully] is the Hebrew for ‘power’ meaning: ‘strength in various applications (force, security, majesty, praise).’ An uncanny consuming mixture of wonder, fear and deep reverence is what strikes you when you come to an understanding of Jehovah’s greatness. Your knees will, without being told, bend before His Majestic presence. You reverence God, truly, not out of the fear one exhibits at the ominous sight of a poisonous debilitation of a black mamba or the ferociousness of a lion, but out of absolute respect.

6)            Dirty politicking: Nero, a Roman emperor, long before whom was Nimrod and Pharaoh; Adolf Hitler, Sani Abacha, Muhammadu Buhari, Idi Amin, and a host of political leaders have engaged in dirty politics. Find out how they became the wielder of the reins of governmental clutch that they would rather die than relinquish. They had dined with the Devil himself, who had thrust the power of Satanism into their hands. Occasionally they must renew the sacrificial stance of that which bonds them to the worship of Satan. They belong to various local and international cultic covens. The Bible says that governmental leaders are ministers of the Most High God, but, they wilfully decide to give their allegiance to the god of this world, Lucifer, the fallen angel, who is going to be the father of the ultimate Antichrist.

Cain: the first to be guilty of murder.

                Irresponsible use of your free moral agent existence weakens the acquisition of celestial citizenry crowns. What do you think God was giving a clear asseveration of, when He told mankind through Adam, “And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17) But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die” (Genesis 2:16-17)? What one eats serves as the vehicular machinery of nutritional growth. Jesus is known as the Manna from heaven. Matthew 26:26 “And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.”

“Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice” [Exodus 19:19].

                John 6:49-60, “Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. 50) This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. 51) I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. 52) The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat? 53) Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. 54) Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. 55) For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. 56) He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. 57) As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. 58) This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever. 59) These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum. 60) Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?”

Thou mayest freely eat – Genesis 2:16

                The eating in Eden is both physical and spiritual. So, what is God making known to them? “You do whatever is right in your eyes as far as My Word allows you;” the LORD God asseverates, “and after your life on earth, you will come to Me;” God went on, “then it will be time for judgment;” is the Creator’s conclusion.

                Many pastors, evangelists, born again Christians will lose crowns. Many husbands will have to contend with being under the leadership of their earthly wives or children. Crowns of good works determine the hierarchy of empyreal citizenry. Some pastors, who cannot do without engaging in certain vices like sexual immorality, will serve under their church members. It will not be painful an experience to find one in, but, what is sown is what is reaped. You will not wallow in shame, but, your official celestial status, which is dependent on the good things you do now as a Christian either places you lower or much lower than some people if you allow yourself to be dominated by sensual propensity.

           None will be plunged into slavery of any kind, but you will be low in the new world to come for all eternity. Imagine what the Creator’s elevation of a born again Christian will amount to in heaven before we come to spend the rest of eternity on earth? No one elects anyone into such celestial offices; none will ever be made to lose that office. It is eternally a bestowal of the Divinity. It will be mind-blowing. Let you be warned of the glory of eternal greatness, found nowhere else but in heaven.       

                To get born again, say, believing every word of it, this prayer:

“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”

5)            The occult lean of your initiation directs you to eliminate the forces against your own cult. A good example is the Black Axe Cult (Nigerian) of your baptism. The lean of cultism has continued to force professionals of the entertainment industry, globally, to join the Illuminati – or be painfully unknown career wise. The mother of all cultism of Satanism, believed to be of the Freemasonry, continues to ask you to expend your free moral agent endowment on the participatory initiation of its organizational arcanum, if you must be reckoned with, in every sphere of this world’s engagement. The next thing you have always done is to carry out the executions, leaving no trace of your blood shedding evil. I know what is says in 2Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”

Jihadism is Islamic righteous annihilation

                Why would someone say, “Jihadic execution of non-practising Muslims is Allah’s commission to righteous followers of Muhammadanism?” Globally, Jihad kills and continues to assassinate people who will not chant, “Allahu Akbar! And Muhammad is His prophet!” In the hand of Islamic jihadism is a lethal weapon. If he is a free moral agent, then that bestows the power of killing, in the name of Allah, to him. Of Muhammadan jihadism is the hadith couch of Sunan Abu Dawood, Jihad (Kitab Al-Jihad) Book 15, Hadith 56, “Narrateded ‘Anas ibn Malik: The Prophet (pbuh) said: Three things are the roots of faith: to refrain from (killing) a person who utters, “There is no god but Allah” and not to declare him unbeliever whatever sin he commits, and not to excommunicate him from Islam for his any action; and jihad will be performed continuously since the day Allah sent me as a prophet until the day the last member of my community will fight with the Dajjal (Antichrist). The tyranny of any tyrant and the justice of any just (ruler) will not invalidate it. One must have faith in Divine decree.”

Islam directs fervent Muslims to expend free moral agency on jihadic expeditions.

                In another hadith it says in Sahih al-Bukhari, Fighting for the Cause of Allah (Jihaad) Book 56, Hadith 2 “Narrated ‘Ibn `Abbas: Allah’s Messenger (pbuh) said, “There is no Hijra (i.e. migration) (from Mecca to Medina) after the Conquest (of Mecca), but Jihad and good intention remain; and if you are called (by the Muslim ruler) for fighting, go forth immediately.” Yet in another documentation of Sahih Muslim, The Book on Government Book 33, Hadith 175, it reads, “Narrated ‘It has been narrated on the authority of Abu Sa’id Khudri that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said (to him): Abu Sa’id, whoever cheerfully accepts Allah as his Lord, Islam as his religion and Mubammad as his Apostle is necessarily entitled to enter Paradise. He (Abu Sa’id) wondered at it and said: Messenger of Allah, repeat it for me. He (the Messenger of Allah) did that and said: There is another act which elevates the position of a man in Paradise to a grade one hundred (higher), and the elevation between one grade and the other is equal to the height of the heaven from the earth. He (Abu Sa’id) said: What is that act? He replied: Jihad in the way of Allah! Jihad in the way of Allah!” As unambiguous as the Islamic hadith points out, “Jihad is the way of Allah.”

                Jihadism of Islamic religion is taken very seriously. Sunan an-Nasa’i, The Book of Jihad Book 25, Hadith 108 “Narrated ‘It was narrated that Anas said: “The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: ‘Strive in Jihad with your hands, your tongues and your wealth.'” [1] [1] See 3098.” With these Islamic directions why would there not be ready human tools to flex the muscles of religious freedom of moral agency? So, these quoranic directions have terribly birthed Boko Haram of Nigeria, Isis of the Middle East, Al-Qaeda of global strength and many others which have aided terrorism of Satanism.

                Prostitution: In very high demand is the sex trade. I have always made the asseveration of the fact that we live, currently, in the world of sex.

                It suddenly dawns on the woman, from unbelievable expensive gifts and huge cash deposits her femininity attracts, that her body is truly endowed with money making venture. In prostitution she believes, and in that she has got a stupendous paying job. And lo and behold a professional harlotry is hatched in this lady who sees absolutely nothing wrong with the use of her free moral agency to service men’s outrageous sexual urge.

                 Accuse a lot of Yoruba womenfolk of harlotry, and what is their defence? “Every childbearing female is a prostitute: for she goes through the process of coition to get herself pregnant.” Prostitution has always been a glamourized business. What did Tamar do to force Judah to reckon with her membership of the Jewish people? She wisely covered herself in the garb of prostitution (Genesis 38:13-26). The Hebrew for Tamar is tâmâr (taw-mawr’), meaning ‘palm-tree,’ it is a metaphor for ‘uprightness’ and ‘flourishment’. There is not a doubt that prostitution is a global trade of rapid flourishment. The prostitute has always held her head, uprightly, high in society. Madness!

Samson ended his life tragically

                Judah, the fourth son of Israel, is the father-in-law to Tamar, who got Judah to be trapped in this web of prostitution. Jacob, also called Israel by God, had at least a son, a grown up son, involved in prostitution. Samson the great had serious, unwise dealings with prostitutes. Who offered protection to the two Israelites on a Jewish espionage to Jericho, was it not Rahab, a respected prostitute? There are enough Scriptures to prove that prostitution actually began in Nod, the city of Enoch, East of Eden, where Cain dwelt, as the progenitor of the antediluvian miscreants. Well, that probably explains why prostitution is seen as the world’s oldest profession.

                Armed robbery: Well-armed, the robbery business is so dreadful that people do what is asked of a robbery gang. Robbers believe that societal breakdown is the cause for joblessness. A gun wielding miscreant could be under drug influence, hence, he should not be argued with. Prostitutional smear on free moral agency will account for delving into armed robbery as a job, indeed, for millions of humans. The power flow from the lethality of the robbery weaponry pushes them to go another step of dastardliness – raping robbery victims sexually; wickedly raising bastards.

Eve: the first to misuse her Adamic free moral agency

                To get born again, say, believing every word of it, this prayer:

“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”

4)            The subtlety of Satanism sneaked evil appeal into man’s management of his free moral agency. It never strikes man that he is so precious to his Maker; an envious Devil is also after his life only to make nonsense of God’s creation.

                The Devil does not rest when it comes to evil missions. He gave man the option to choose an evil conjugal relationship with the fallen angels. The resultant evil effect was the half-human half-angelic progeny of Satan’s angels. Their offspring became giants, men of renown – to entrench occultism. The excogitation of Satanism was simply to populate the earth with spiritual freaks that would cause so much pollution to make the incarnation of the Christ an impossibility. 

King David

                Against sound advice of 2Samuel 24:3, “And Joab said unto the king, Now the LORD thy God add unto the people, how many soever they be, an hundredfold, and that the eyes of my lord the king may see it: but why doth my lord the king delight in this thing?” David would definitely pursue the dictates of his whim. And because the king was bent on perfecting the craving of his heart, “Notwithstanding the king’s word prevailed against Joab, and against the captains of the host. And Joab and the captains of the host went out from the presence of the king, to number the people of Israel” (2Samuel 24:4). King David had his way.

                God too must have His way. “And David’s heart smote him after that he had numbered the people. And David said unto the LORD, I have sinned greatly in that I have done: and now, I beseech thee, O LORD, take away the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very foolishly. 11) For when David was up in the morning, the word of the LORD came unto the prophet Gad, David’s seer, saying, 12) Go and say unto David, Thus saith the LORD, I offer thee three things; choose thee one of them, that I may do it unto thee. 13) So Gad came to David, and told him, and said unto him, Shall seven years of famine come unto thee in thy land? or wilt thou flee three months before thine enemies, while they pursue thee? or that there be three days’ pestilence in thy land? now advise, and see what answer I shall return to him that sent me. 14) And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let us fall now into the hand of the LORD; for his mercies are great: and let me not fall into the hand of man” (2Samuel 24:10-14).

“Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?” [Luke 22:48]

                Did Pharaoh not see all the signs of absolute inability to fight the LORD God of Israel? He chose wrongly. Why did Moses, the leader, priest and prophet of Israel not go to the Promised Land? Most times God will not come personally to stop you from the mismanagement of your free moral agency. He created you. He put His fear in you, expecting you to comply with what is right. In every individual’s heart is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. The Creator is waiting for you at the end to face His judgment.

The evil of man’s heart is free choice of humanity

                Many saved souls will be astonished at the score cards of their free moral agency of earthly existence. The actuality of free moral agency tends to push one into a lethargic state of spiritual functionality. Believing that he can get away with some sins – after all Adam and Eve did make it to heaven eventually – man wants to taste of some forbidden fruits. One prayer of forgiveness, that is all he needs, and those spiritual misdemeanours are struck out of his dark accounts. Throwing caution to the winds, children of God begin to cut unscriptural corners of Satanism to book a majestic seat of financial autonomy – counting billions in monetary value aided by the altar of ungodly ritualism –, birthed in the oven of a sworn Mammonite. Promoted by the god of this sinful world, Lucifer, the ill-gotten wealth, however, forms a frown on the holy visage of the Most High; and most despicably, they make themselves to feel satisfied paying tithes on an ill-gotten wealth.

                More often than not, with wealth in his clutch, as an army of ants busy itself around sugar, so a bevy of beauties of Eve descent swarm around the nouveau riche. Formication becomes a sporting relish. Taste sex once and you are satanically hooked for good, care having been flung aside. You will not see it as an egregious lasciviousness. The blinding god of this world constantly makes you view it as a consensus act. You will hear yourself saying, “It has always been a serial harmony-sweetened understanding of coition.” It will never occur to you that you have often used your status and the power of your money to force these vulnerable ladies unto their coitus knees.

King David’s free moral agency chose adultery

                And sooner than expected of a Christian, your concupiscent degeneration will be telling the beautiful catch, “Give what you have – your luscious body – to get what I have – my cash.” The freedom of your moral agency does not support giving, especially a lady, without an attached string of behind-closed-door physicality. What makes you promote the philosophy of ‘nothing goes for nothing’ attitude is the immoral slant that has continued to ride you as a free moral agent. 3)            The subtlety of Satanism has sneaked an evil appeal into man’s management of his free moral agency. His first ever words of Scriptural documentation was laden with subtle evil appeal aimed at encouraging the misuse of moral agency. He asked in Genesis 3:1 “Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” And when Lucifer told the unsuspecting Woman, “For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil” of Genesis 3:5, she was being bewitched to misuse her free moral agency. Unfortunately, the woman capitulated. Sad.

                The Devil does not rest when it comes to going on his evil missions. He saw another target of corruption. Lucifer told him, “You don’t need to be tied to your old Dad; you are free to choose what you want; you are created a free moral agent. Break away from him and I will make you the priest, the progenitor and lord of your own people.” Cain nodded in agreement and helped Lucifer in an orchestrated stroll of perversion into free moral agency. Noah? You should know that you are free to go into vineyard planting. But your free moral agency does not support debauchery. Noah, you missed it when you chose to be led to drink a bit so much. 

“…from the roof he saw a woman washing herself” [2Samuel 11:2]

                As much as God had allowed you to marry as many women you choose albeit not morally okay, why must you take the only wife of Uriah, one of your superpatriotic soldiers? David listened to the Devil; he paid dearly for perverting the endowment of God’s free moral agent phenomenon. Ahab had the freedom of choice, but Scriptural veridicality frowns ominously on Baal worship; and Israel wallowed in spiritual darkness all the twenty-two years of the reigning days of King Ahab, the husband of Jezebel, the head priestess of Baal worship in Israel. Jezebel should not have been married to Ahab in the first place because God had told Israelites not to marry strangers because they would infect them with idol worship.

                There lived a man. He was the strongest in human history. God made him so. He was the Judge of Israel, given the responsibility of the highest Jewish political office of his time. But Samson chose an uncouth brashness and a penchant for illicit amatorial propensity. Foolishness resides, as a matter of fact, in man. It is the responsibility of man, no doubt, to jettison the evil appeal of concupiscent crave.

Moses the prophet

                Pharaoh dared the Most High thinking he could misuse his moral agency with impunity. He perished. Why did Moses, the first Judge, leader, priest and prophet of Israel not go to the Promised Land? This is what the Bible says. “Because ye trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah-Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel. 52) Yet thou shalt see the land before thee; but thou shalt not go thither unto the land which I give the children of Israel” [Deuteronomy 32:51-52]. What was Moses’ free moral offence? It is found in Numbers 20:10-12 “And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, ye rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock? 11) And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also. 12) And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.”

Judas Iscariot made satanic use of his free moral agency (30 pieces of silver)

                Was Judas Iscariot stopped from his corrupt practices? John 13:21 “When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.” In another place, it says, “The Son of man indeed goeth, as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! good were it for that man if he had never been born.” [Mark 14:21]. Judas had more than enough warning. John 13:26-27 “Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon. 27) And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.” This is how guilty we are before the LORD God, Who has given us everything we need to succeed as free moral agents. How guilty was Judas? John 13:2 “And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, to betray him;” Judas misused an opportunity to please his Creator.

                Most times God will not come personally to stop you from the mismanagement of your free moral agency. He created you. He put His fear in you, expecting you to comply with what is right. In every individual’s heart is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. The Creator is waiting for you at the end – to face His judgment.

                Each one of Vladimir Putin, Ibrahim Babangida, Adolf Hitler, Muhammadu Buhari, Idi Amin, Emperor Nero (political leaders), Delilah and Jezebel used his or her endowed free moral agency as he or she deemed fit, albeit, wrongly. After all said and done it will be God’s judgment seat that everyone has to face. Be wise. Be a good moral agent.

FREE MORAL AGENCY [2]

2)            Freedom of Adamic moral agency is not absolute. There is no way man can or should wield absolute authority as a free moral agent. An insuperable enemy, Lucifer, full of uncanny subtlety, is too formidable to be left at the mercy of man. If man must represent His Creator, then it is apropos that the seminal quiddity of an individual’s philosophical stance must not, in any way, be antithetical to the resting will in the bosom of the Eternal Father, Jehovah. Amen. They were free to eat from every tree. Yes. But were they allowed to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? No! Why? Free moral agency given to Adam is not absolute. He and his wife were on probation. Their probationary period was to inculcate in them the indubitable sense of Deuteronomy 13:3, “Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.” The Hebrew for the Elizabethan ‘proveth’ is nacah (naw-saw’) ‘to test’; which underscores the probationary reality of free moral agency. Can you, as a free moral agent, from the Scriptural point of view, just do as you please, no matter how? Selah.  

                Why free moral agency? It is never God’s intention to create robots as people who would represent Him – whether in heaven or on the terra firma. A robot has no intention of his; it has no soul; it is devoid of spiritual intelligence, and it is too mechanical to appreciate the awesome wonderment that strikes an intelligent being of creationism, and leading to the sense of venerable appeal that eventually engenders the knee-bent latria in the presence of the Creator. A robot will kneel in worship simply because it has been so programmed, and never out of genuine reverential appeal. The LORD God has a sense of feeling; His intelligent creation must have an endowment of sensation as well. The Creator perceives intelligently; if the intelligent beings of creation must have the “likeness and the image” of their Creator, then their perceptive abilities must not possess the mechanical programming of computerized objects. They should be able to say, like David, “Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name” in Psalm 103:1.

                God wants you to do His holy bidding from the willingness of your determined heart. That is,from the heart that has imbibed the instructions of the Bible. I can hear someone asking, “Why was Jonah not allowed to exercise the intention of his belief?” Jonah, as a Jew, was under God’s Abrahamic covenant – to “love the LORD with all his heart”. Jonah’s vatic office places him under the suzerainty of his Master’s voice. The lives of those who were ready to repent and make a volte-face return to the LORD God were residing in Nineveh. God will not lose the life of even one repentant soul.

                Did man make an aberrational mess of his free moral agency? Yes; in the Garden of Eden, when he took of the tree of Satanism and digested it to the pollution of his soul. Has the free moral agency been restored? Yes; when He began to pray in the Garden of Gethsemane. Gethsemane (geth-see-ma-nee’) which means ‘oil-press’ comes from two Chaldean words: gath (gath): ‘a wine-press (or vat for holding the grapes in pressing them)’; and shemen (sheh’-men): ‘1. grease, especially liquid (as from the olive, often perfumed). 2. (figuratively) richness.’ That prayer (which had never been prayed and will never be prayed – for its consummate uniqueness), bloody sweat, culminated in the substitutionary death of the cross.

                This restoration is birthed with the John 3:3 understanding.
