LUCIFER’S DESIRE TO BE GOD (3)

“…every precious stone was thy covering…”

(…continues from part 2…)

3)            Did this angelic splendour ever ask himself if his position, as the head of the angelic host, was not probationary? Maniacal salivation comes from incorrigibly avaricious mentality. That crave becomes an entrapment of opiumism; and in the case of the angels of the Rainbow Administration, Lucifer was eternally hooked on that spiritual negativism, with no second chance of spiritual salubrity. Lucifer’s desideration resulted in eternality of doom!

Ezekiel 28:12-15 12) “Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. 13) Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. 14) Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. 15) Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.”

The world is a wilderness under Lucifer

Lucifer, could you not have made excellent use of the talents of these precious stones of your making, giving thanks and adoration to the Giver of life? You are not different from the foolish servant who buried his talent meant for God’s business. The Devil abandoned his official duty, chasing after the mirage of deification. Lucifer, why would you dare to second-guess God’s omniscient decision? What told you that the Creator does not know what is good for every one of the billions of His creationism? Did it occur to you that the thought of your mind was iniquitous to the perfection of your angelic being, that what you were chasing was the egregiousness of a craver?

Isaiah 14:12-17 “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 13) For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14) I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. 15) Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. 16) They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; 17) That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?” And by the time of the Incarnation, Jesus, when He was tempted of the Devil, it was no longer a beautiful Eden Garden. Satan had become the false god of the world, a world he could not care for; a wilderness it had become, unfortunately.

The Rapture will cause great cataclysm of satanic rule

He did not stop weakening the good world of God’s creation. He had got his devilish desire; he could not even try to maintain a smidgeon level of the status quo. No wonder he was not allowed to become a member of the Godhead. Lucifer did not, from Scriptural documentation, plead for mercy. Well, granted the fact that angels do not have a second chance, nothing stops the LORD God not to make another law to emancipate angelic act of missing the divine mark. The Word of God clearly states in Matthew 26:28, “For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”  Exegetical explanation of this verse is the Pauline, “For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second” (Hebrews 8:7).

Sin robs one of all hopes, even the ones that stand good chances of activation. Adam behaved in this similitude, because Scripture did not report his plead for the original sin. Unlike Lucifer, whom I believe the LORD knew that he would not change at all, Adam, today, continues to walk to the Christian Church altar, praying the prayer of salvation. Lucifer could not envisage the future role of his crave. How could he, when he is not omniscient? Could he have seen what goes on everywhere simultaneously? He has not the faculty of the Omnipresence. Lucifer secretly, without permission, tampered with the knowledge of good and evil, and to his chagrin he lacked the enhancement of omnipotence to navigate through omniscience to traverse the labyrinth of the knowledge of good and evil. Lucifer, you failed. Amen.

Getting born again is a conscious effort on the part of an individual. Get born again. Say this sinner’s prayer.

“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”

LUCIFER’S DESIRE TO BE GOD (2)

The dark lord of Satanism

(…continues from part 1…)

2)            Let us check another scriptural account in Ezekiel chapter 28 where the twelfth verse clearly states, “Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD;” and wondering how you would want to fail to believe that this was not intended for the king of Tyrus. Who was this king? Biblical accuracy will make him Ethbaal (‘with Baal’), or Ithobalus (‘Baal with him’) of 1Kings 16:31, king of Sidon, Jezebel’s father. He was the priest of Astarte. Murdered Pheles, 50 years after Hiram’s death, and usurped the throne of Tyre for 32 years, 940-908 B.C.; and the truth is that even if he truly “sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty”, that epithet was never meant for king of Tyre, with whom Baal of Satanism was solidly with.

The Garden of Eden

Was Ethbaal ever in Eden? He was too young to intrude the Eden Garden, notwithstanding the mythical belief of Jewish Rabbins that Ethbaal was Hiram, who lived for one thousand years. Scriptural connectivity will put Lucifer in Eden, not the king of Tyre. Every description of this entity of Ezekiel’s prophecy points much farther away from Ethbaal. Verse 13 deals with the precious stones, tabrets and pipes of his creation. While verse 14 describes him as “the anointed cherub that covereth;” the next verse reveals, “Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created,” A cherub is a celestial angelic being of God’s Rainbow Administration. Is Jezebel’s father Lucifer, who fell as lightning from heaven? To be perfect in all ways of an individual is to be sinless. King of Tyre, like any other human, was born in iniquity and was conceived in sinfulness. Lucifer began his celestial life without sin – the only reason for “perfect in thy ways”.

The creation of Lucifer comes with the Hebraic word bârâ’ (baw-raw’) which is ‘created’ found in verses 13 and 15. It is not the ‘make’ of ‛âśâh (aw-saw’): ‘create from an existing material’; it is not the ‘formed’ of yâtsar (yaw-tsar’): ‘fashion; squeeze into form, mould into shape (like the potter does).’ It is not the architectural ‘made’ of bânâh (baw-naw’): ‘build’; this bârâ’ means ‘to create out of nothing’, ex nihilo as the Greek puts it. The king of Tyre was a product of biological process of procreation, hence, a product of ‛âśâh. Lucifer, created out nothing, being a purely spirit being, is unarguably of bârâ’.

Historically, when did Lucifer fall from heaven? Could it be when Jesus made mention of his fall in the gospels; maybe it was at the time Prophet Ezekiel’s utterance of Chapter 28, verses 12 to 15; or could it be at the time of Prophet Isaiah’s vaticination of chapter 14 verse 12? None of the above has the answer. Revelation 12:7-9 7) “And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8) And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9) And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”

It happened a long, long time ago. It took place a very long time before Adam’s creation.

The malfunctioning mind of Lucifer failed to grok the implications of his evil action. Lucifer toyed with an acidic desiderative mirage and foolishly unaware of the carcinogenicity of the treasonous implications of his deification attempt, it ate dangerously through his being. He probably saw through the merciful nature of the Godhead but he forgot that his free moral agency activation did not align with moral and legal terms of the Rainbow Administration of the empyrean Majesty. Angels are not favoured with the grace of forgiveness. When you are bent on a course of action without due consideration for the terms of moral rectitude, you are definitely embarking on destructive cruise. His salivatory bourne took his angelic eyes off the existential quiddity of the Members of the Godhead.

Lucifer, the light bearer is now the lord of darkness.

He did not even realize what the mere contemplation had caused: a stupid oozing drool from his lips. The beclouding stupidity of his bizarre desideration failed to point out the fact that each of the Beings of the Divinity is the Almighty, an uncreated Entity of eternality. Lucifer forgot that his existence came from the creative – bârâ’ –lips of his Creator. Son of the Morning, how could you be detached from the perfection of your making, and from the fact that you did not, like Jehovah, come into being by your own power? Your angelic sonship to the LORD God is not biological; it is not capable of rendering your son-placing a cultural equality with the Eternal Father, as it is obtained traditionally. It is the LORD’s call to create equality with Him, not ever yours – an object of creationism. Out of nothing, Satan the Devil, you came from; how could you not remember your bârâ’ nativity? Your stupidity has sentenced you back into nothingness. An entity of creationism cannot aspire to the status of worshipped God – it is a spiritual aberration. You must have the unparalleled qualifications of the three O’s – Omniscience, Omnipotence and Omnipresence – to receive the latria due to the Ělôhı̂ym. The omniscience of the Godhead will not advance into the entertainment of hereticism. The Godhead, with Lucifer as a member, will, no doubt, mar Divinity with a freakish clown.

Amen!”

LUCIFER’S DESIRE TO BE GOD (1)

Lucifer’s ungodly desire led to his destruction.

1)            Lucifer, most definitely, did not have a smidgeon of what he was driving himself into when he summoned all the anomalous presumptuousness dwelling in his foulness to effect the Scriptural documentation of “For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14) I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High” (Isaiah 14:13-14). It was an unprecedented, boldacious and sacrilegious intrusion into the Divinity of the Trinity. Surprisingly many Bible commentaries fail to see this prophecy as having revealed the Devil’s name as Lucifer, to whom the doom is fittingly directed. The following Bible commentators have helped me a great deal in my researches, but on Lucifer of Isaiah 14:12, I have to disagree totally with them.

Satan the loser

*John Gill “How art thou fallen from heaven… This is not to be understood of the fall of Satan, and the apostate angels, from their first estate, when they were cast down from heaven to hell, though there may be an allusion to it;” and also, “O Lucifer, son of the morning! alluding to the star Venus, which is the phosphorus or morning star, which ushers in the light of the morning, and shows that day is at hand; by which is meant, not Satan, who is never in Scripture called Lucifer,”

*From Barnes Commentary, the thirteenth verse does not agree that Lucifer of Satanism is meant. I will ascend into heaven – Nothing could more strikingly show the arrogance of the monarch of Babylon than this impious design. The meaning is, that he intended to set himself up as supreme; he designed that all should pay homage to him; be did not intend to acknowledge the authority of God.”

*Jamieson, Fausset and Brown’s Commentary hardly believes the verse relates to Satan. Lucifer—“day star.” A title truly belonging to Christ (Re 22:16), “the bright and morning star,” and therefore hereafter to be assumed by Antichrist.”

*Does Keil & Delitzsch Commentary sees the prophetic utterance as Satan’s doom? “Lucifer, as a name given to the devil, was derived from this passage, which the fathers (and lately Stier) interpreted, without any warrant whatever, as relating to the apostasy and punishment of the angelic leaders.” I do not see it so.

“I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven” (Luke 10:18).

*From Adam Clarke’s Commentary: “And although the context speaks explicitly concerning Nebuchadnezzar, yet this has been, I know not why, applied to the chief of the fallen angels, who is most incongruously denominated Lucifer, (the bringer of light!) an epithet as common to him as those of Satan and Devil. That the Holy Spirit by his prophets should call this arch-enemy of God and man the light-bringer would be strange indeed. But the truth is, the text speaks nothing at all concerning Satan nor his fall, nor the occasion of that fall, which many divines have with great confidence deduced from this text.”

This is the English Annotations on the Holy Bible stand of Matthew Poole. O Lucifer; which properly is a bright and eminent star, which ushers in the sun and the morning; but is here metaphorically taken for the high and mighty king of Babylon. And it is a very usual thing, both in prophetical and in profane writers, to describe the princes and potentates of the world under the title of the sun or stars of heaven. Some understand this place of the devil; to whom indeed it may be mystically applied; but as he is never called by this name in Scripture, so it cannot be literally meant of him, but of the king of Babylon, as is undeniably evident from the whole context, which certainly speaks of one and the same person, and describes him as plainly as words can do it.”

What is scripturally clear is that a reading between the lines of God’s protocol will unmask the leader of the first coup d’etat, Satan the Devil, to be the one whose true sobriquet is Lucifer. Like my Pastor, Reverend Chris Okotie, will always say, everything goes back to Genesis; so to Genesis chapter three we start this exegetical trip of exposing Lucifer – I have always told him, “I’m going to expose you!” At the commitment of the original sin, God’s main object of judgement was the nailing of the evil spirit behind the serpentine meandering intrusion of God’s house: Eden. God did not go to Satan directly, He went to Adam who pointed to his wife, who in turn confessed in verse thirteen, “The serpent beguiled me and I did eat.”

Amen!”

No Condemnation (3)

(…continues from part 2…)

3)            Every word of John 5:24 points to the Christian’s possession of everlasting life. It begins with “verily, verily” of Hebrew origin; it is amen (a-meen’): ‘1. (properly) firm. 2. (figuratively) trustworthy. 3. (adverbially) surely. 4. (often as interjection) so be it.’ The Bible makes it clear to us that Jesus Himself is the Amen. Twice couch of ‘verily’ is an attestation of its veridicality. ‘Word’ is logos (lo’-ğos): ‘1. a word, something said (including the thought). 2. (specially, with the article in John) the Word of God (capitalized), the Divine Expression, the Creator, the Word of Yahweh.’ Logos is the totality of God’s mind. The personalization of Logos makes Jesus truly divine and he must be very God of very God. Only God can promise everlasting life, therefore, its promise is divine. It exempts from ‘condemnation’ and passes the redeemed into zōē – God’s kind of life.

It is the right of the redeemed. God’s purpose and oath guarantees it. The grace of God sustains this zōē. Faith and hope in the gospel give him the right of claim; most certainly the grace of God engenders the principle of eternality in the believing soul. The fullest of its satiation is the earnest of Holy Spirit. The condemnation of Jesus Christ on the cross brings Adamic elevation under the aegis of the Divinity. By the righteousness of Christ, though the redeemed comes before the judgment assizes of the Creator, his acquitment stands as sure as the existence of the LORD God, the ultimate Judge Himself. Whoever believes in Him, Jesus, shall not be condemned but saved, absolutely.

Though the original sin, a perpetration of the Adamic pristine parents, which should utterly destroy: for it says, “the soul that sinneth, it shall die” (Ezekiel 18:4), the New Testamentary initiation of the gratuitous zōē demands a ‘not guilty’ acquittal. The blood that speaketh better things than that of Abel has cleansed the soul erstwhile heading straight to hell, and by the indwelling intervention of the Holy Spirit, a volte-face to eternal bliss is the tenor of the act of grace, made a possibility by the declaration of justification passed on the redeemed of the Lord; secured from the irredeemable journey of the second death. All it takes for divine operation of the soteriology is “obey the didacticism of divine utterance” and the resultant effect is “passing from the Adamic dead situation to eternal life.”  Hallelujah!

This is the difference between the redeemed and the unregenerate, captured in the words of the Eternal Word of God, found in John 3:18 “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” The curse that came upon sin has continued to plague mankind. The unregenerate is, thereby, condemned already, indeed. The wise who opened his ears, believed the evangelism of the gospel and decided to receive Jesus, the Author of zōē as Lord and Saivour, to him is the applicability of the Scriptural grace of Romans 8:1 “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”

Why is there no condemnation to the believing Christians of God’s redemption? It says, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28) And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand” (John 10:27-28). This is the bottom line: “…and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” This is what it says in Romans 8:2 “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” As a true born again Christian, one has passed from death to life.

Amen!”

No Condemnation (2)

(…continues from part 1…)

2)            Another law of promulgation: ‘Spirit of life in Christ Jesus’, of total emancipation, has through divine operation, set the Christian ‘free from the law of sin and death.’ You want to know the magnificent icing on this deal? God chose to dwell on the inside of the recipient of His redemptive plan. How safe is a family that gets a visitation from the United States’ President? How safe is a land surrounded by all the military forces of Israel, China and America? If it says, “For God so loved that He gave, that one should not perish” and a custodial stance of theological insurance finds facticity in the Divine arrangement that offers the Third Membership of the Godhead, the Holy Spirit, as the earnest (2Corinthians 1:22) of God’s absolute ownership of the redeemed, what human act of violation is evil enough to thwart the security of the omnipotent Divinity: it clearly says, “that whosoever believeth should not perish”?

Now if ‘earnest’ in this verse is arrhabōn (ar-hrab-ohn’), ‘a pledge, that is, part of the purchase-money or property given in advance as security for the rest; a caution-money, deposited by the purchaser and forfeited if the purchase is not completed.’ The earnest is the Holy Spirit; how soteriologically secured are born again children of God, knowing fully well that in financial terms, the Holy Spirit is more than eternal times and over wealthier than any amount of any mind blowing thoughts. God Himself is the downpayment for our purchase. Why would God make Himself the earnest our purchase? Is it not because the divine purchase will never run into a loss? It takes eternality to purchase an item of eternal incorruptibility. No condemnation.

1Peter 1:22-23 22) “Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: 23) Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” That which makes the cleansed soul purified is never the excellency of moral efforts of carnality; it, certainly, is the obedience to the word of God that suffers righteousness. None can ever initiate, by his own power, the reality of soteriology. It is strictly of Divine métier; and to eternalize the security of the Christian salvific state, God cultivated the new birth with an incorruptible seed – never to be adversely affected by the corruption of Satanism. No condemnation.

The Pharisees, demanding to know of the Kingdom of God with their focus based on chronological phenomenality, Jesus subtly revealed Himself in Luke 17:21, “Neither shall they say, Lo here! Or, lo there! For, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.” The word ‘within’ is entos (en-tos’): ‘Within, inside; within you, i.e. in the midst of you; within you, i.e. your soul.’ When John the Baptist went about with his heralding evangelism of, “The Kingdom of God is at hand,” was the Baptizer not introducing the divine presence of the Immanuel? Had he not played hide and seek with Yeshua, his cousin, the supposedly ‘son’ of Joseph’s fatherhood when they were young lads? How come when the same Yeshua turned up for baptism – decades later – , Who needed not to be baptized, having committed not the least of sin, John trying to forbid Him and with a confused mind said, “I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me” (Matthew 3:14)? The Emmanuel of divine vaticination had eventually proved the word of Jehovah to be true!

Luke 17:21 proves that the Kingdom of Jehovah is indeed a Personage – the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. Christian spiritual rejuvenation brings the divine presence of Jesus into our lives, making us carriers of the Divinity. The Divinity is eternal; therefore, His spiritual presence is equally of eternality. Dwelling inside humanity definitely changes the corruptible sinfulness of the born again and eternally places him in Christ, the Kingdom of God. Can anyone condemn God’s chosen place of His dwelling: for that is what the Christian becomes? No condemnation to the chosen generation. A certain judgment is awaiting intelligent creatures for falling into sin, but those who heeded and obeyed the teaching of the Logos have been moved from the course of the eternal torments of Gehenna.

They are eternally saved. Providential gift of Jesus was to pave an availability of life-giving operation to the heart of willingness. The birth of Jesus was to set operation-grace in motion. It pleases the Father to give eternal salvation to as many as will come to Jesus and be healed. Immediately on man’s acceptance of Jesus as Lord and Savour, a total package of salvation is the result. Jesus told the accused on His right, when He was saddled with the sins of thousands of years, “Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise” (Luke 23:43).

No Condemnation (1)

1)            “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life” (John 5:24). What exactly is Jesus saying in this verse? Echō (ekh’-o) is the Greek for ‘hath’, which means ‘to have, i.e. to hold; possess.’ Before one is endowed with the ‘possession’ of this asseveratory ‘everlasting life’, it is compulsory that the individual should pay attention to the Giver of the word. The word ‘heareth,’ akouō (ak-oo’-o) means: ‘to give ear – to teaching or a teacher.’ In this context, ‘heareth’ is tantamount to ‘obey’. Proper obedience to the word of God leads to being born again. The adverbial ‘not’ is ou (oo): ‘the absolute negative – no, not.’ When you study the phrase ‘shall not come’ it is interestingly an emphatic erchomai ou erchomai pointing out that ‘shall’ and ‘come’ are the same word erchomai (er’-khom-ahee): ‘to come or go.’

‘Condemnation’ is krisis (kree’-sis): separation; judgment; damnation; punishment; accusation; by extension a tribunal; by implication justice (specifically divine law).’ The verbal ‘passed’ is metabainō (met-ab-ah’-ee-no). It comes from meta (met-ah’): ‘with, after, behind: properly denoting accompaniment’ and basis (bas’-ece) origin: βαίνω bainō (to walk); a pace (“base”), that is, (by implication) the foot’. Metabainō, from the definitions of its origin, simply means: ‘to change place’. The ominous ‘death’ is thanatos (than’-at-os): ‘the death of the body; that separation (whether natural or violent) of the soul and the body by which the life on earth is ended; with the implied idea of future misery in hell.’ It is crystal clear that he that ‘heareth’ is not the One whose decision it is to do the metabainō. Jesus, whose word receives obedience, is the Lord who ‘changes the place’ of the redeemed. There is nothing required of the redeemed, according to this verse, to be kept intact in the place of Pauline ‘no condemnation’; there are no scriptural strings attached to security of the believer. Jesus takes infrangible care of the redeemed ‘change of place.

Of scriptural veridicality it is, as Pauline couch clarifies in Romans 3:23, that “all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” an unpaid for justification that comes by the grace that is in Christ Jesus, Whose Calvary sinless propitiatory blood has transformed the born again Christian and declaring our righteousness before God, having removed all our past sins, ergo, no condemnation fits the Christian, having been led by the Holy Spirit and firmly planted his feet in the righteousness of Christ eternally, here on earth and when he eventually comes before the throne of celestial Majesty, this is absolutely the work of the Trinity, lest any should burst out an air of boastfulness. Amen.

This salvific pursuit is strictly the responsibility of the Godhead. The word of God, preaching the substitutionary death of Jesus, one is left with whether to obey the Holy Spirit’s divine testification or not. Those who believe immediately become – by an abstruse wrought of the Holy Spirit – the children of God and the Holy Spirit enters their spirits, permanently, for spiritual rejuvenation; they open their mouths and out of them pour the filial “Abba, Father,” to God the Father. If Jehovah is the Eternal God, then the spiritual procreation is eternally a security. The Father gave His only begotten Son. The Son perfected the soteriological facticity. The Energizer, the Holy Spirit, ceaselessly energizes the willing hearts into the Kingdom of God. The Holy Spirit makes the cleansed spirit an eternal place of abode, making the hearts of recipients the holy progeny God’s Church forever. No condemnation comes to the redeemed. Amen.

Our sacrosanctity is borne out of our elevation to the dignified preferment of first fruits. “And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body” (Romans 8:23). ‘Firstfruit’ of this verse is aparchē (ap-ar-khay’): ‘a beginning of sacrifice, that is, the (Jewish) first fruit (figuratively).’ Biblical ‘first fruits’ speaks of superiority of excellence of human bestowal. No application of condemnation is suffered to point a finger of judgment on Christians. This, no doubt, makes Christianity too important to God and, therefore, indestructible by any act of Satanism. People do not make any effort to understand that the Godhead indwelling the born again is the celestial insurance that must keep protecting the Christian. He is no longer his old sinful self! The eternal life of Christ is what the spiritually justified, Adamic rejuvenation is now living. It is logically unbelievable but scripturally true.

Will You Lose The Genuineness Of Your Salvation? (8)

(…continues from part seven…)

8)            In conclusion I must remind you of theological truths.

In the new creation of the Church engenderment, the earnest of the Holy Spirit proves that God puts all He has in the soteriological culmination. Ephesians 1:19-23 19) “And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20) Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21) Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22) And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, 23) Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.”

God used His Almighty power to deal with sin

God used all His resources, so to speak, to actuate the regeneration of Adam. The LORD God used money, exchange for business transactions; He also used His ‘entire’ power for the procurement of man’s salvation. The Greek for ‘exceeding’ is huperballō (hoop-er-bal’-lo): ‘To surpass in throwing, to throw over or beyond any thing; To transcend, exceed.’ The next word ‘greatness,‘ megethos (meg’-eth-os), is: ‘magnitude.’ Put huperballō megethos together and what it says is: “target any distance in your wildest imagination and huperballō megethos surpasses it, far, by the farthest distance beyond all imaginations. Think of the most annihilating intercontinental ballistic missiles, it cannot match the power of huperballō megethos – the Almighty power. Four translations of power describes the displayed power that saved us from the hell, meant for Lucifer, his counterpart fallen angels and demons.

The first couched ‘power’ from verse 19 is dunamis (doo’-nam-is): ‘Strength; inherent ability; force (literally or figuratively), latent power; specifically miraculous power (usually by implication a miracle itself).’ The word ‘working’ is energeia (en-erg’-i-ah): ‘efficiency of energy.’ ‘Mighty’ is ischus (is-khoos’): ‘Ability, forcefulness, strength, might – it comes to visibility when act of throwing, lifting, pushing or crushing is needed.’ The second ‘power’, kratos (krat’-os), is ‘vigor’ – easily manifested on men of immense strength. Why would God bother Himself to exercise these shows of incalculable power if the recipient of the grace of salvation stands to lose it?

Do verses 22 and 23 say categorically that Jesus is the Head of the Church and does it reveal that the Church is His mystical body? Did I not explain clearly that the saved soul is the full responsibility of the Godhead? If the Church is His mystical body, does it not behove God to do the Jude verse one needful?  “…to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:” (Jude 1:1). The Father “purifies” for salvation. Jesus Christ is the divine refrigerator that continues in “preserving the regenerate Christian from injury, rottenness and loss,” because that is what the Greek word for ‘preserved’, tēreō (tay-reh’-o) means.

Through the inspired energy of the Holy Spirit, the gospel becomes meaningful; the “call” is made and what does the Father-sanctified and Christ-preserved do? Led by the Holy Spirit the utterance of the prayer of salvation is made from the heart, you get born again and the Trinity takes over the purchased life, and your new life becomes the full responsibility of God; how can it be lost? Has God ever lost anything He truly wants for Himself? Selah!

That which receives the salvation is the spirit of the recipient. As human beings, we must take care of this earthly body by washing it daily. The spiritual aspect of individual’s human tripartite nature does not enter any bathroom for cleansing preservation. God, the Owner of the redeemed, continually does the preservation. Clearly, from the Scriptures above, the Christian is part of the body of Christ. The body of Christ is divinely owned; who looks after it? The Owner, God Almighty, continues to employ His insuperable dunamis, energeia, ischus and kratos to preserve the peculiarity of the Christian’s life – His own body. The Christian is truly blessed to be saved by the grace actuated design of the Author of soteriology. Amen.

You can be part of the winning Christianity of Jesus Christ. Get born again by saying this sinners’ prayer:

“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”

7)            Let us gothrough some theological facts.

Does it make an availability of essence in our thinking prowess that the safety of the truly born again Christian becomes, immediately, the personal responsibility of God? Why would God make the divine promise of, “And I will give you rest” of Matthew 11:29? Does it not occur to our understanding that ‘rest’ in this verse is anapauō (an-ap-ow’-o), which means: ‘To cause or permit one to cease from any movement or labour in order to recover and collect his strength; To give rest, refresh, to give one’s self rest, take rest; To keep quiet, of calm and patient expectation’? Anapauō comes from ana (an-ah’): ‘Into the midst, in the midst, among, between’ and pauō (pow’-o): ‘To make to cease or desist; To restrain a thing or person from something; To cease, to leave off; Have got release from sin; No longer stirred by its incitements and seductions.’

Get born again: Solution the sin question.

Anapauō is divine solution to the sin question. Check out every scriptural pointer to the soteriology, it contains not any string of: ‘do’, ‘do not’ or ‘if you do not’. The only scripture I know of, with an attachment of a serious and huge string is found in John 3:3, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” The attached string, ‘except’, which is ean mē (eh-an’ may): ‘if not, unless, whoever … not;’ makes a categorical, “unless you accept Jesus as Lord and Saivour, there is no salvation. This is the most incontrovertible fact of Scripture – no Jesus, definitely, there is no salvation. This exception is quite different from the 5th Article of The Remonstrance, “unless you continue to persevere” – with works of Adamic toil – one stands to lose the salvation, inspired by Jacobo Arminius.

Five negatives intended to strengthen Divine promise are the employment of Pauline writing of “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee” (Hebrews 13:5); where ‘never’ is ou me (ou mee’): ‘a double negative strengthening the denial, “not at all.” The word ‘nor’ is oude (ou-d̮e’): ‘not however’ and ou me of the above. ‘Forsake’ is egkataleipo (eng-ka-ta-lei’-pō): ‘1. to leave behind in some place. 2. (in a good sense) let remain over. 3. (in a bad sense) to desert.’ What is the reason why God will not leave nor forsake the born again? God is love. One of the characteristics of love is in 1Corinthians 13:8 “Charity never faileth:” and the word ‘never’ is oudepote (ou-d̮e’-po-te): ‘not even at any time, i.e. never at all;’ while ‘faileth’ is ekpipto (ek-piyp’-tō): ‘1. to drop away. 2. (specially) be driven out of one’s course. 3. (figuratively) to lose, become inefficient.’

Another reason is that God, as a Businessman, will never want to lose the ownership of any of His properties. The born again Christian is Jehovah’s personal responsibility. Nobility of Divinity will not accept irresponsibility. We of the regeneration are His by the oath of His pronouncement. We belong to the Most High. The eternality of God’s accountability towards His purchased property makes the destiny of the Church towards celestial rest an onliest concern of the Godhead. Does it say from Scripture, “…should not perish but have eternal life,” then the onus of the practicality lies squarely and secured on the shoulders of the Most High Jehovah through the Empyrean Insurance Corporation. The germinal essentiality of salvific trait is the simple ‘belief’ in the individual’s heart’s exercise. True salvation is conditioned entirely on faith, absolute faith in the Word of Scripture. “That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. 13) In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory” (Ephesians 1:12-14).

The first stance of soteriological existence is the act of faith. ‘Trusted’ of verse 12 is proelpizō (pro-el-pid’-zo): ‘to hope in advance of other confirmation.’ It does say somewhere, “faith cometh by hearing;” and when the heard substance is led to the state of digestion, the risen hope transforms into a deeply rooted faith in the rhema of the Logos. The LORD God, seeing this display of sheer intent of the abiding faith, the Godhead takes it up from there: for He alone can bring the objectivity of faith into its destined consummation.

It is God’s business transaction, which requires not a less in Divinity of participation. Another Entity of eternality, the Holy Spirit, must, as of divine requirement, serve as the earnest. God the Father did not perfect the payment of regeneration of the Christian with the denarii of the Roman tentacles of nations’ occupation. He did not pay with the British pound sterling to save Europeans; the globally sought after US dollars was not the currency of transaction; neither is the Nigerian naira offered for the redemption of Africans. The tectonic relevancy and divine bourne is the onliest reason why God must use Himself as the down payment for the Church: God’s biggest dream.

Will You Lose The Genuineness Of Your Salvation? (6)

(…continues from part five…)

6)            God is a businessman.  Who is the Husbandman of Matthew 21:33-36; and who is the King who delivered talents of money with the instruction, “Occupy till I come,” of Luke 19:13? The Matthew King is God the Father and the Instructor of “Occupy till I come” is the Lord Jesus. The word ‘occupy’ is pragmateuomai (prag-ma-tev’-o-mai): ‘to busy oneself with, i.e. to trade.’ It is a commercial term. These verses and some others prove that God is a Businessman. The question now is which merchant wants to lose in any trading transaction? None, I believe, is the answer. Why would God use the Holy Spirit as the earnest or down payment or collateral, if you would, in the purchase of the regenerate soul, knowing which one would turn out to be bad business and went ahead with the regeneration transaction? God would never want to lose, ergo, a genuine born again will not be lost to hell simply because God could not have made a wrong use of the earnest – God does not make wrong moves.

God’s Insurance Corporation covers absolutely

The saved is in the eternality of, not One, but in the Divine hands of Two Members of the Godhead; in fact the saved soul is held in the eternal hands of the Trinity – the Holy Spirit is actively involved in the soteriology. Theologically, we understand that what is in the hand of the Christ is said to be in the Father’s hand as well. But the seriousness of the Divine Insurance Corporation (headquartered in heaven) enforces me to dwell on the individuality and the distinctiveness of each of the Members of the Godhead. The hand of Christ, from which none can pluck, is a mystical arm of eternality. It is impossible to even come to an approaching distance, not to talk of touching it. If you cannot touch it what possibility, on earth, gives anyone the strength of moving just one finger of eternal existence? Need we dwell on the impossibility of plucking the saved soul out of the hand of the Christ?

Come unto me all ye that labour, and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.

Now the same saved souls are secured in the Father’s eternal hand. One eternality is much, too much enough to effect security for all eternities; but two hands of the Divinity? Phew! It is the end of the discussion! How it seems too difficult to understand this simple scriptural facticity is disturbing to my theological mind, honestly! Does it not make it explicitly in abundance of clarity in Romans 11:29 that “For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance”; where ‘without repentance’ is the Greek ametamelētos (am-et-am-el’-ay-tos) meaning: ‘unregretted or better still, irrevocable’? The predestined quiddity of the born again, which before creation was an issue of Godhead predetermination concerning the Christian, makes his spiritual rebirth unreversible.

Matthew 28:20

Is it not an indictment on the Persons of the Godhead if a bought soul should perish? We do not try, in any way at all, to ask ourselves this saliency of theological question, do we? It is quite understandable that when God made the pristine male and female Adamic parents, they were essentially free moral agents. Right! God did not have to pay anything for their creation because they were perfect. But when they fell and it was quite certain, from Prophet Ezekiel’s, vaticinatory “the soul that sinneth, it shall die” (Ezekiel 18:4), the compassionate heart of God looked at them that headed to the hell of no return abode, and Jehovah had to assume the Merchant role of His Being. The merchandise was nothing less than the souls of those who would simply believe in Him: which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

A volte-face U-turn was the treading of the ones who, from their hearts and with all sincerity of the same heart, receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Saivour, move away from the hellish direction into the marvelous Light, Jesus, to be preserved unto the day of perfection. It says, “…and I give them eternal life,” does it not? If I should lose it, am I the loser or the one Who promised that zoē? The celestial Businessman, who does not lose any business transaction also said, from Pauline quotation in Hebrews 13:5, “I will never leave thee nor forsake thee.” If He had said it in Genesis 28:15 to Jacob; to Israel through Moses in Deuteronomy 31:6; but specifically to Joshua in Deuteronomy 31:8; and to Joshua, directly from the lips of the Divinity in Joshua 1:5; from the Prophet, High Priest and Judge of Israel, Samuel to the people of Israel in 1Samuel 12:22; the Spirit inspired David to say it to Solomon in 1Chronicles 28:20; and from the psalmist in Psalm 37:25; Psalm 37:28, is the LORD God not saying the same words of encouragement to the born again Christian these days? God, who cannot be indicted for any offense will make sure His Word – a Personage – is eternally kept sacred. Praise the LORD!

Will You Lose The Genuineness Of Your Salvation? (5)

(…continues from part four…)

5]            Salvation has always been through Jesus Christ. If He is the Shepherd of Psalm 23, who is also the Shepherd of Israel of Psalm 80, and we understand that Jesus affirms the truth that He is the good Shepherd in John 10:11, then there is no doubt whatsoever, that Jesus is the Jehovah of the Old Testament. Proof that the Jehovah of the Old Testament is the Christ is evident in 1Corinthians 10:9 “Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.” ‘Tempt’ is ekpeirazō (ek-pi-rad’-zo): ‘to prove, test, thoroughly; to put to proof God’s character and power.’ When He told the badgering ‘tempter’ of Luke chapter 4, “Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God”, the Devil had no choice but to flee from the anger of the LORD God, in Whose presence his employment of boldacity had him stood all those forty days.

The LORD Jesus, who rightly receives worship, is my Shepherd.

How did the saints make it to heaven in the Old Testamentary days? It was owed to diligence to the things of God, contrition of heart and spiritual uprightness before the LORD. David proved to be a good example of the Old Testament saints. He never wasted any moment to seek forgiveness from the LORD God, the Good Shepherd – Jesus Christ. I really want to believe that the bellowing scare of “You will lose your salvation when you commit sin” is borne out of sheer intent to keep the Christian from doing the wrong things. If that is the major reason, then, would it not be sheer Scriptural deceit?                 Unscriptural scare is unnecessary; it can never straighten any crookedly behaved soul. What they need to know is the truth. What is the truth? It says that if we do not do the right thing, we stand to lose crowns of Christian achievements found in 1Corinthians 3:11-15. Verse 15 says, “If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.” What does one stand to lose? One stands to lose the crowns of Christian achievements: to prove that God rewards good deeds, of course. But I thank the good LORD that, the most important part of man, the soul, shall be saved. Hallelujah!

The employment of scary, unscriptural teachings will only succeed in breeding more of unnecessary obnoxious fear in the heart of the untutored, concerning salvation. False teaching does not aid the Christian life; pure faith in the Word keeps one afloat in the regenerate spiritual life. Romans 3:28 “Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.” The subject of this verse, ‘man’ is the Greek anthropos (an’-thrō-pos): ‘1. (literally) man -visage (i.e. a man-faced being, a man who has visibly come of age). 2. (concretely, in Hebrew) a clay being (a classification of beings made in the image of God, who made them male and female). 3. (generically, in English) a human being.’ Apostle Paul did not say, “…a good ‘Christian’ or ‘Jew’ is justified by good works.” He says pointedly, ‘a man-faced being of Adamic nature’ cannot be justified save by the faith, faith in the word of God. Any person who comes to Jesus, knowing that he was born in sin and wants to be justified, must get born again, a birth engendered solely by the beneficence of Divinity, maintained and perfected by the same God and which has absolutely nothing to do with man’s moral rectitude is what this new birth of soteriology is all about.

“For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance” (Romans 11:29).

“Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called: Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied” (Jude 1:1-2). God Almighty, the Eternal Father, already knew in the eternal past who will seek to be redeemed. So, what did He do? The Greek word for ‘sanctified’ is hagiazo (ha-ǰiy-a’-zō): ‘1. to make holy, to set apart unto God and apart (alienate) from the world. 2. (ceremonially) to cleanse. 3. (mentally) to reverence.’ What God did was to use His omnipotence to ‘set those who will receive Jesus as Lord and Saviour apart’ unto Himself.

The next thing was to do ‘preservation’. The word ‘preserved’ is tereo (tee-re’-ō): ‘1. to guard (from loss or injury). 2. (properly) by keeping the eye upon, i.e. to note (a prophecy). 3. (thus, figuratively) to fulfil a command. 4. (by implication) to detain in custody. 5. (thus, figuratively) to maintain. 6. (by extension) to withhold for personal ends. 7. (thus, figuratively) to keep unmarried.’ God preserved the would-be born again in an everlasting refrigerator – Jesus Christ. No spiritual injury or loss comes to anyone having his preservation in Christ Jesus. After the Godhead had concluded the soteriological effectibility, the Father, the Christ and the Holy Spirit were waiting patiently for the day the individual will hear the gospel, believe and accept to say the sinner’s prayer, becoming the ‘called’ which is the Greek kletos (klee-tos’): ‘1. Called 2. (specially, divinely) called forth. 3. (figuratively) invited. 4. (specially) a person redeemed by Jesus (i.e. the called of Christ, the Annointed One).’

Everything that marks the process of salvation is God’s work, therefore, the born again person will continually have the Divine attention of ‘mercy’ (to be forgiven always), ‘peace’ (prosperity in all its ramifications) and ‘love’ (God’s unconditional, protective affection) multiplied unto his soul, simply because this regenerate soul must not be lost. Amen!
