DEMONISM (part five)

I see no reason why we should not be trenchant in dealing with issues of eternal consequences. The thing we should be asking ourselves is whether Jesus is the One giving the misleading information or the Qur’an. Who is lying here Jesus, Mohammed, Voodoo, Hindu, the Bible or the Qur’an? Is demonism an outright evil or not? We cannot pretend as if nothing evil is in dominance of humanity. In fact this is what Satan wants: ignorance; so that he will continue his subjugation of mankind. Billions are under Lucifer’s deceitful concoctions of to steal, kill and destroy. Every religion works hand in hand with demons in sacrificial offering (e.g. libation pouring and sprinkling of water) and worship. Let those who have seen the light not keep mute. Good Christians should create the expected awareness. Expose the works of darkness.

                                       image of demon

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” Ephesians 6:12. The word ‘wrestle’ is a term used in sport, which has to do with physical hand to hand and leg to leg combat. Paul is teaching that our (Christians) earthly combat is not a sporty fun, neither is it human to human. ‘Flesh’ is sarx, which is analogous to humanity, while ‘blood’ speaks of the source of earthly life; the original text actually has ‘blood and flesh’. The entities we come face to face with in spiritual wars are demons, all of them. ‘Principalities’, arche (ar-kay): ‘1. beginning, origin 2. the person or thing that commences, the first person or thing in a series, the leader’. These, folks, are the chief leaders of the beings on earth when Satan fell (Luke 10:18, Revelation 12:7-9). Demons probably looked hideous: for when Adam was about to be created it was a will to make this species to conform to the physiognomy (likeness) of and the spiritual disposition (image) of his Maker. Then there is the ‘powers’ exousia (ex-oo-see’-ah): ‘privilege, that is, (subjectively) force, capacity, competency, freedom, or (objectively) mastery (concretely magistrate, superhuman, potentate, token of control), delegated influence’, who are second in demonic command. Satan discusses his plans with principalities, who in turn vest a delegated authority to the Powers who then brief the ‘rulers’ i.e. kosmokratōr (kos-mok-rat’-ore) Thayer Definition: ‘lord of the world, prince of this age; the devil and his demons’. Strong’s Definition: From {kosmos -‘world system’- and krateō (krat-eh’-o) which from [kratos -force] ‘to use strength, that is, seize or retain (literally or figuratively)} kosmokratōr, therefore means: ‘a world ruler, an epithet of Satan’.

‘Darkness’, skotos (skot’-os) Thayer Definition: ‘of darkened eyesight or blindness metaphorically of ignorance respecting divine things and human duties, and the accompanying ungodliness and immorality, together with their consequent misery in hell; persons in whom darkness becomes visible and holds sway’. Strong’s Definition: ‘shadiness, that is, obscurity (literally or figuratively)’. Prevalence of idolatry has actually sent the very visible man into spiritual obscurity; and ‘world’, aiōn (ahee-ohn’) means: ‘the worlds, universe’. ‘Spiritual’, pneumatikos (pnyoo-mat-ik-os’) ‘non-carnal, that is, (humanly) ethereal (as opposed to gross), or (daemoniacally) a spirit (concretely), or (divinely) supernatural, regenerate, religious’. ‘Wickedness’, ponēria (pon-ay-ree’-ah) is: ‘depravity, that is, (specifically) malice; plural (concretely) plots, sins’. Demons, going by this rank, are wicked spirits embroiled in an insatiateness of wickedness, who continue to deceive their worshippers that they can be appeased by the sacrifices offered to them. How I pity those who think there is any good thing in demonism! The word ‘high’, epouranios (ep-oo-ran’-ee-os) is: ‘above the sky or heavenly’. Demons have their kingdoms and dwelling places in the sky. They are spirit beings, carrying no mass of any weight, therefore can inhabit the air. Spiritual human projections to their celestial abode enables the demons to strengthen their deceitful hold on initiated humans. Very difficult it is to prove this to those who are diabolically hooked!

Revelation 12:9, “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him”. This verse is chronologically an event that occurred before Adam was created. Lucifer, most certainly, told them about how he merely asked God for what rightly belongs to him as the greatest angel. He showed them, I believe, the beautiful elements that went into his making. They could not hold their gasp for breath at the awe inspiring beauty that hit them. They decided to cast their lots with the lies of Satan. Doomed Satan, in his diabolic collaboration, led the beings of the earth and the fallen angelic host into perdition. He is the god of demonism of whom 1Peter 5:8 enjoins us to “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:” with an uncanny support, so diabolical, from his demon allies.

DEMONISM (part four)

(continued from part three)

A chapter, Ar-Rahman, is the 55th in the Qur’an. It reveals not only the paradise demonic participatory but of their conjugal bliss in heaven. Verses 72-74 read thus: 72 “Fair ones, close-guarded in pavilions. 73 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 74 Whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them.” King Solomon is not spared of Mohammed’s Qur’anic demonism in An-Nami (27:17), “And there were gathered together unto Solomon his armies of the jinn and humankind, and of the birds, and they were set in battle order.”

What is the Bible’s answer to all these doctrines on demonism? Just in case anyone should throw tantrums in disagreement with the use of the Bible to settle this issue, it will be germane to intimate the reasoning faculty of the fact that the Bible is not only the first to document creationism, it still remains the only reliable Book that tells the story. Qur’an, which tends to come a little bit close, is 75% Bible and about 25% Islam; was put into documentation some eight hundred years after the ascension of Jesus. Like I always advise, “Why don’t we stick with the original documentation?” Is the ‘guardian spirit’ of voodoo any different from familiar spirits? This is what Leviticus 19:31 enjoins, “Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God”. This word ‘regard’ in Hebrew, panah (paw-naw’), means: ‘to turn; by implication to face, that is, appear, look, etc.’ Why was Abraham told to leave his Ur nativity? Was it not because of the pollution that will poison his spirituality if he continued to fraternize with the demonic idolatry of his ancestry worship?

You cannot fraternize with demons without first being initiated into the occult. Demons are absolutely unserviceable! It was for this reason Jesus told the disciples to, “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils:” Matthew 10:8. The clause, ‘cast out’ is a violent act. It comes from ekballō (ek-bal’-lo): ‘to cast out, drive out, to send out -with notion of violence;’ which comes from two root words: ek or ex (ek) ‘out of, from, by, away from’; and ballō (bal’-lo): ‘to throw or let go of a thing without caring where it falls’. It is quite impossible to see how Qur’anic jinns will accept the gospel of salvation, not to mention evangelizing the same.

faun  A Faun

The doom of demons is eternally sealed, they are disembodied spirits who are bent on gaining entrance into humans in order to exercise their evil penchant. Hear the account of Matthew 8:29, “And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?” they know that they do not have the authority to be on earth because they lost it when the earth was squeezed and placed under water in the pre-Adamic era. Solomon, the king, would not have anything to do with them (as regarding demonic aid in warfare). What is more, King Solomon never fought a single war all of his forty years of reign, so, where did Mohammed get the gist of Solomon’s enlisting of demon soldiers? Demons know they have no place with God and James 2:19, “Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble”, is the proof.

“But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: 36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.” These are the words of the Lord Jesus in Luke 20:35 & 36. The good reason why the testimony of Jesus is most acceptable is in John 3:13, And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, [even] the Son of man which is in heaven”. Jesus also said, Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away” Matthew 24:35. There is no doubt in my mind that the Bible of Christians is not on the same spiritual page with the Islamic Qur’an, going by these scriptural differences on marriage.

DEMONISM (part three)

hybrid

In the Old Testament, ‘devils’ (demons) appear four times. In Leviticus 17:7 & 2Chronicles 11:15 it is called śa‛ıyr (saw-eer’) BDB Definition: 1. hairy (adjective) 2. he-goat, buck (noun masculine) a. as sacrificial animal b. satyr, may refer to a demon possessed goat like the swine of Gadara (Mat 8:30-32). Strong’s Definition: ‘shaggy; as noun, a he goat; by analogy a faun’. Deuteronomy 32:17 & Psalm 106:37 has shed (shade) ‘a daemon (as malignant)’. From the first definition there could be a likelihood of demons having the appearance of satyr, faun or ape; and they should be very intelligent beings indeed. In the New Testament, daimonion (dahee-mon’-ee-on) Thayer Definition: ‘1. the divine power, deity, divinity 2. a spirit, a being inferior to God, superior to men 3. evil spirits or the messengers and ministers of the devil’; Strong’s Definition: ‘a daemonic being; by extension a deity’ (Matt 7:22 & Lk 8:33); and daimōn (dah’-ee-mown) Thayer Definition: 1. a god, a goddess a. an inferior deity, whether good or bad 2. in the NT, an evil spirit’, which comes from δαίω daiō ‘(to distribute fortunes); a demon or super natural spirit (of a bad nature) (found in Mark 5:12 & Rev 16:14)’ are the two Greek words for demon. Jesus never had anything to do with them, “and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial?” (2 Corinthians 6:14-15). Hear Jesus in Matthew 26:53, “Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?” He explained also in Matthew 25:41, “Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels”. The Devil would not dare insinuate a falsehood of demonism in Matthew 4:6, “And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone”. Jesus dealt with the demons as we have in Luke 8:30, “And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him”. They are foul spirits in Mark 9:25 & Rev 18:2. ‘Foul’ is akathartos (ak-ath’-ar-tos) ‘impure (ceremonially, morally (lewd) or specifically (demonic))’. They are also called ‘familiar spirits’: ‘ob (obe) ‘(apparently through the idea of prattling a father’s name); properly a mumble, that is, a water skin (from its hollow sound); hence a necromancer (ventriloquist, as from a jar)’.

dustdemon

Spiritists and seers who do not receive the oracular afflatus through the Holy Spirit, in the name of Jesus, are actively working for Satan. They are in league with familiar spirits whose attachment to each clan is an assignment of satanic operation. They can trace your family lineage to Adam easily. Voodooism, according to Collins Dictionary, is a religious cult involving witchcraft and communication by trance with ancestors and animistic deities, common in Haiti and other Caribbean islands. It is ultimately of West African origin; it speaks of guardian spirit, without which there is no voodoo. Hinduism teaches that the Devil is still God’s angel, running messages for the Most High -insinuating a certain rapport between God and Lucifer. Satanic prominence of Hindu religion makes an obvious case for demonic rampancy.

Not unlike all religions, Islamic Qur’an teaches the existence of evil and good demons. In fact the Qur’an has a whole chapter for demons and aptly called Al-Jinn (Arabic word for demon is jinn). Qur’an 72:1 reads, “Say (O Muhammad): It is revealed unto me that a company of the Jinn gave ear, and they said: Lo! we have heard a marvellous Qur’an,” and the 14th verse says: “And there are among us some who have surrendered (to Allah) and there are among us some who are unjust. And whoso hath surrendered to Allah, such have taken the right path purposefully”. In the 46th chapter, called An-Ahqaf, in verse 29 Prophet Mohammad proclaimed from Allah, “And when We inclined toward thee (Muhammad) certain of the jinn, who wished to hear the Qur’an and, when they were in its presence, said: Give ear! and, when it was finished, turned back to their people, warning”; which implies that demons preached to convert in the name of Allah to other demons. …to be continued

DEMONISM (part two)

                     2a459918b37e71a3688f3ec0d36c82b5

Isaiah 45:18 reveals, “For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else”. The word ‘vain’ is the same tohu as ‘without form’ explained above. The earth which was quite habitable in verse one did not have Adam as its occupant. Right? Prophet Isaiah was inspired to write that nations of people did occupy this terra firma.

I hope it is getting clearer. Now you may ask, “Where are these people in verse two”? Having succeeded in weakening and polluting them spiritually, God arrested, judged them and the sentence saw their incarceration in the darkness of the tohu bohu together with their evil angelic counterparts of rebellion and of course their god, Satan. Adam only came into existence in Genesis 1:26. Prior to this in verse three we see the Light, the manifestation of the Christ (John 1:1-14… “That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world”, verse 9), the Creator, at re-creationism. The Light of Genesis 1:3 gave them a temporary respite. Those earthly beings were invisible for they had been disembodied, made unfit to dwell on terra firma. This is the origin of demons.

Was there any time in the history of man when there was no man on earth? None! So, how come Jeremiah 4:23-25 intimates us with, “I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light. 24 I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly. 25 I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled”? Jeremiah was made to see God’s judgment on beings of pre-Adamic era. The Bible does not give a description of their physiognomy but maybe the definition of a scriptural demon will make an attempt.

demon

The word ‘demon(s)’ is not in King James Bible (translators’ error), it renders it devil or devils. The truth is that there is only one devil and that is Satan, hence, you cannot have devils because Satan can only be in one particular place at a time. Only God is omnipresent. The first time a demonic spirit is mentioned in the Bible is in: Leviticus 17:7, “And they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto devils, after whom they have gone a whoring. This shall be a statute for ever unto them throughout their generations”. To most of Christians demons are the same as the angels who fell along with Satan from heaven. The Bible records in Genesis 6:2 that, “…the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose”. These are the fallen angels -sons in the sense that they were created individually confer Job 1:6, 2:1, 38:7 & Luke 3:38. They cannot be the sons of Seth (a doctrinal error) for the simple fact that Seth was not a ‘son of God’ as his father, Adam was based on the fact that Adam was created personally by God’s hands just like the angels. Seth was Adam’s son. If they (fallen angels) are not the demons then where are they? The answer is simply found in 2Peter 2:4, “For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment”. Jesus did go down at death to preach as we find in 1Peter 3:18-20. Verse 19 reads “By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison”. 2Peter 2:4 buttresses Jude 1:6 which reads, “And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day”. The word ‘hell’ in 2Peter 2:4 translates tartaroō (tar-tar-o’-o) ‘From Τάρταρος Tartaros̄ (the deepest abyss of Hades); to incarcerate in eternal torment’. A lot of commentaries say that those in Tartaros̄ are some of the fallen angels, hence, leaving the demons to be some of those angels. But, is this what the Bible teaches? 2Peter 2:4 clearly teaches: “For if God spared not the angels that sinned”; and Jude 1:6 reads, “And the angels which kept not their first estate…”. If you do recall, Genesis 6 does not, in any way, imply “‘some’ of the sons of God”. All the rebellious one-third of the celestial angels are in tartaroō. This leaves the beings of pre-Adamic age as the demons.
