WHY EVE STUCK TO ADAM (one)

”If God could forgive us,” she reasoned; then she’ll follow Adam to create the Church.

 (1)          The indices that mark the stark observable realities justify the inevitability of the eventual stability of the primordial conjugality of the pristine parents. It was the LORD’s doing and He had put everything, to give it two surest feet, in place. The LORD God made sure that He had briefed each one of them. If it did not work then the Lamb of God would have tried in vain to engender a mystical body of His own on this terra firma.

I heard a man of God preached that God is a One who performs surgical operations and a jot of life sustaining crimson fluid would not even drop (in reference to the rib involvement), and in a way that is quite correct. But certainly not in this conjugal context. It must, of necessity, be a sanguinary affair! It must flow for the earth to drink the blood of a sinless soul. He must typify his future Saviour. Amen!

The rib, as taught by the erudition of Rev. Chris Okotie, is the only anatomical organ of the human physique that resembles the rainbow of God’s eventual symbol of safe-keeping covenant He entered with man. The rib is a protective organ. It keeps very vital organs (i.e. heart, lungs and the liver) safe from external aggression. Adam must sleep while the woman was coming into creation. The Jesus he adumbrates must die in order to bring His Church, the bride, His mystical body into existence. Amen!

The scriptural purpose of Genesis 1:26, “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth:” was first committed to Adam’s understanding, no doubt. God had spent some time with him to receive the responsibility of Genesis 2:7-8 “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. 8) And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed;”

Genesis 2:15 “And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it;” and Genesis 2:20, “And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.” So when we read, “And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man” [Gen 2:22]; it is obvious God had briefed the woman too. God had to be the sole Witness to engender the eternity of marriage. Hallelujah!

The word ‘brought’ is the Hebrew bô’ (bo): ‘to go or come (in a wide variety of applications): bring against, bring upon, to be introduced.’ It was an adult female God did bring unto the man and in the course of bringing her they did walk side by side. This walk brings to mind the righteous walk of Enoch. In Hebrew, this ‘walk’ is halak which has the connotation of ‘lifestyle.’ She had been made to see where, what, who she was being introduced, the purpose and the lifestyle of humble submission (required of her existence to actuate His divine dream of bringing Lucifer into eternal judgment). God, her Father, was her Tutor. The strictness of the adherence to God’s protocol was the guiding principle through the destiny of her sojourn.

Adam-and-EVe-450x236

The magnetic pulchritude that the femininity of this newly created one, in God’s hand, created an electrifying effect that turned Adam, the man, into the first rap artiste. He could not hide the euphoric ecstasy as he rapped, “This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man” of Genesis 2:23. ‘Bone,’ in this verse is ‛etsem (eh’tsem): ‘a bone (as strong); by extension the body; figuratively the substance, that is, (as pronoun) selfsame; essence.’

Adam saw an essential part of him in this oomph of an extraordinary being. ‘Flesh’ is: bâśâr (baw-sawr’): ‘flesh (from its freshness); by extension body, person; also (by euphemism) the pudenda of a man.’ Adam saw himself afresh in this woman, which brings us to 2Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” where ‘new’ means fresh. She prefigured the Christian vessel of redemption.

The man’s heart was a frenzied palpitation in that the word ‘now’ (of Genesis 2:23), a feminine noun, is pa‛am or pa‛ămâh (pah’-am) ‘stroke, beat, foot, step, anvil, occurrence.’ He had found a good thing, a blessing from the crafting hands of the Most High. The ecstasy was heightened by the fact that this female Adam happens to be carrying, in her matrix, the divine solution to spiritual degradation, and the ownership of this breathtaking pulchritude is only for his asking! Selah!

THE LORD OF EXODUS (part 1)

dia-de-deus (5)

“The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious…”

Who is this chanting Lord, apprising Moses of the self-encomium, “The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, 7) Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and to the fourth generation [Exodus 34:6-7]? This is Yahweh Elohim. The I AM. The Creator of the heavens and the earth. The One who is, who was and is to come. The Almighty! Unfortunately, some pastors teach that this One of the Book of Exodus is an angel.

IS THE NAME OF GOD THE SOUND OF OUR BREATHING

Is the name of God the sound of our breathing?

‘LORD,’ in capitals is the Hebraic יהוה with a transliteration: yehôvâh (pronounced- yeh-ho-vaw’) BDB Definition: Jehovah = “the existing One.” The proper name of the one true God. Unpronounced except with the vowel pointings of {‘ădônây (ad-o-noy’): An emphatic form of ‘âdôn; the Lord (used as a proper name of God only)}.’ Strong’s Definition: (the) self Existent or eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God.’ Origin of this name is from  היהhâyâh (haw-yaw) ‘to be, become, come to pass, exist, happen, fall out; to exist, that is, be or become, come to pass (always emphatic, and not a mere copula or auxiliary).’

“Come unto Me all ye that labour and are heavy laden.

Êl is the Hebrew word for ‘God’ which is pronounced (ale). It is defined as: ‘strength; as adjective mighty; especially the Almighty (but used also of any deity).’ Moses had impetrated the LORD in the eighteenth verse of the preceding chapter, which reads: “And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory” [Exodus 33:18]. Israelites had beheld the LORD as the pillar of cloud and of the fire. What Moses prayed to behold was the true glorious physical nature of Him. The likeness and the image (of Himself) of which He, at creation (Genesis 1:26), asked to be the prototype in the making of Adam. Moses was desirous to see This Personage who walked the Garden of Eden in the cool of the evening. Moses did not impetrate an angel as this chapter reveals.

God graciously granted him his wish in Exodus 33:19-20 “And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy. 20) And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.” (An angel cannot say this!) Only HIS goodness could be made available to the sinful eyes of mankind. God is so good. The LORD knows that to behold His countenance is to be brought to judgment. Jehovah’s magnanimity, when it comes to showering mercy, is so evident here. His scrupulousness is an unparalleled, parental loving kindness.

Exodus 33:21-23, 21) “And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: 22) And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: 23) And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.” The word ‘cover’ is śâkak (saw-kak’) ‘properly to entwine as a screen; by implication to fence in, cover over, (figuratively) protect.’ ‘Hand’ is kaph (kaf): ‘palm, hand, sole, palm of the hand, hollow or flat of the hand.’   How more paternally can one be? God knew that Moses was still existing in the carnality of human sinfulness. Jesus had not yet died for man’s spiritual emancipation. A look at him from His magisterial stance, as Elohim, will not spare even the meekest adjudged moral quality of Moses. Jehovah is the true Protector. It was the same palm that formed Adam and his woman that was made readily available to get entwined adorably around Moses, His servant, prophet and leader of His chosen Israelites by the oath of His divine mouth.

je-suis-lumiere

The Hebrew for ‘back side’ is ‘âchôr (aw-khore’): ‘the back side, the rear; backwards; hereafter (of time); behind.’ The word ‘face’ is pânı̂ym (paw-neem’): ‘Plural (but always used as a singular) of an unused noun (פּנה pâneh, (paw-neh’); the face (as the part that turns); used in a great variety of applications (literally and figuratively); also (with prepositional prefix) as a preposition (before, etc.).’

The LORD would not bring Israel to judgment by throwing the legality of the terms of His gaze at Moses. As pânı̂ym defines, His face turns in only two directions. The direction of evil for a summary sentence; while that of righteousness receives the virginal verdict of “…..Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:” [Matthew 25:34]. Rather than give Moses an ominous gaze, the Lord took a walk. He walked His righteous walk away on behalf of Israel, His child. His walk was a promise to show Himself, thereafter, at the appointed time. As long as the physical or spiritual Israel is involved, the LORD of Exodus has walked our righteous walk on our behalf. Amen.

Get born again to to receive eternal bliss from the LORD of Exodus, say, “Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”   (…to be continued…)
