THE NEW SPIRITUAL SPECIES (two)

“…your life is hid with Christ in God” Colossians 3:3

(Continued from part one)

(2)          Not like the bulls, rams and lambs hitherto used in sacrificial exculpation, the expendability of which necessitated daily sanguinary butchered ritual for atonement, Jesus rose to live forever. That made the difference, soteriologically. At the pouring forth of the blood of the object of sacrifice in death, the sacrificant is absolved of the hanging judgment. The life of an innocent animal is exchanged for that of the sacrificing wrong doer. The dead animal is not recallable. When Jesus rose from the dead, the Eternal One, who is also the Holy One of Israel, came back from the dead to sniff out death from our essence. The Bible says, “we were quickened together with him:” for in so doing we rose never to die spiritually again, living as eternally as our Saviour, ‘who was, who is, and is to come. Amen!’ “O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out.” How many sins were forgiven? The Book of Colossians’ answer is, “All!”

THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS (Jer. 23:6), “that we might be made the righteousness of God in him (2Corinthians 5:21).

If the scriptural factuality is of 2Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new;” does it not follow that the regenerated soul of a Christian is a spiritually brand new man? This word ‘new’ is the Greek kainos (kahee-nos’): ‘new (especially in freshness).’ Paul did not use neos or neōteros (neh’-os): ‘new, recently born, young, youthful, properly so with respect to age.’ This freshness is located in the spiritual silo or refrigeration of the eternal Christ Jesus. The newness of this freshness, coming from the throne of the Eternal Father, is definitely eternal!

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature…”

“For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” [Romans 10:10]. The noun ‘righteousness’ is the Greek dikaiosunē (dik-ah-yos-oo’-nay): ‘a feminine noun which speaks specifically of (Christian) justification.’ The feminity stance makes our justification a proper Bride of the Righteous Lamb, who has sworn the oath of “I will never leave nor forsake thee.” Most definitely, our life, as His mystical body on terra firma, has its locale majestically in Christ, the Second Member of the Godhead. “When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory,” so says the word of God in Colossians 3:4, where ‘life’ is zoe, ‘God’s kind of life.’ The life of this new species cannot be lost, having its location in Christ, who continually takes care of it: for it is His own life! Amen!

What does it say in Colossians 3:3? It reveals what the spiritual baptism does. “For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.” “Why,” if any should ask, “will God hide us doubly in Him and in Christ?” Eternal security! That is the answer. God would not trust any other but Him -Jesus. He does not want another careless blunder from an egregious stupidity displayed by the first Adam. “In him was life; and the life was the light of men” [John 1:4].

“In him was life; and the life was the light of men”

God made the absolutely best choice when He chose Jesus. He, most definitely, chose Himself when He chose to hide us in Jesus. Is Jesus not Emmanuel? “O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out.”  God did all of these marvellous deeds to ensure our eternal safety, knowing fully well that we, as free moral agents could disrupt His ineffable plan of salvation. We, as the new spiritual species, have, therefore, become too priceless; bought with the invaluable sinless blood of the Lamb of Jehovah.

HIS ASCENSION ENGENDERED OUR FUTURE RAPTUROUS ASCENSION

1Peter 2:9, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.” Amen. What is ‘chosen’? It is eklektos (ek-lek-tos’): ‘select; by implication favorite.’ What one does with and for a favourite belonging is what God does for and with us. When you have to discipline your body do you destroy it for whatever reason? I believe not. ‘Generation’ is genos (ghen’-os) meaning: ‘kindred or offspring.’ Christians are not just another race of people, we are so close to Him, the Most High, as closer as His next of kin. ‘Nation’ is ethnos (eth’-nos): ‘a race (as of the same habit), that is, a tribe.’

Get born again and be counted among the new species of humanity, say this prayer with all your heart, meaning it:

“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”

IS CHRISTIANITY AN IMPORTED RELIGION? (Part three)

christianity_is_not_a_religion_by_ninjamastersk-d5aciut

(Continued from part two)

At best defined religion is simply man’s own way of reaching out to God. You, an individual, will decide how best to stand in obeisance before the God of adoration. The first religious appropriation was the woman of Adam’s attempt when she uttered words of Genesis 3:3, “But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die;” quite independent of divine protocol. Religion is always a total incongruity with God’s tenet. The woman began by quoting God well in that scripture only to perfect the deviation of religion by the addendum of her personal perceptive stance of “neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.”

The acceptable Judaism which Jehovah allowed through Moses had, in the days of Jesus, been stained with religion, causing it to assume the four superstitious headed sects of the Pharisees, Sadducees, Essenes and the Zealots. Religion is an atypicality. It is a breeding sty of freethinkers. The seat of man’s thought becomes the architectural workshop of the construction of the relationship between God and mortal man. God has to put in place a most accepted relationship between an errant man and Himself. Christianity.

860373764_1790843

Christianity is both correctional and salvational. “…Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world” [John 1:29]. Only Christianity boasts of an inevitability of the blueprint of celestial citizenry. John 3:3, “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” This is essentially categorical. Romans 10:9-10 teaches how to be part of God’s kingdom: 9) “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Calvary-Cross-Pics-0508

The word ‘confess’ or ‘confession’ is not devised to unearth your sinful acts by asking you to go into the verbal enumeration thereby throwing you into a public opprobrium. Not at all –as so many Church ministers demand before administering the sinners’ prayer. The Greek word is homologeō (hom-ol-og-eh’-o) Thayer Definition: ‘to say the same thing as another, i.e. to agree with, assent; to concede.’

Strong’s Definition: [From a compound of the base of homou (hom-oo’) ‘the same’ and logos (log’-os) ‘something said –including the thought’]; ‘to assent, that is, covenant, acknowledge.’

41e3a7b4892acd31f89d048fb824ffde

This is what the winsomeness of Christianity is all about!

Homologeō, simply put, means to echo in agreement what the word of God says. And what sayeth the Word? 1. Believe in Jesus. 2. Believe that He died for your sin. 3. Believe that He rose from the dead –for your justification. 4. Declare His Lordship over your life (which is the same as “if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus”). It is most definitely all about Jesus and His finished work of salvation. Amen! A refusal to embrace this salvation by grace is an open declaration of war against God. No religion has any true provision for this biblical heavenly bliss.

Jesus-Christ

I AM the Way, the Truth and the Life, the Almighty!

It is clear who is behind Christianity and if the Personage happens to be the Lord of glory, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the One who was, is, and to come; and the Almighty, then this way of worship is not imported from Israeli’s Shem or from Europe of Japheth. It is providential: the only available avenue for relationship with the eternal Father of light, the One of the Kingdom of the celestial assizes. Amen!

Get born again to become a Christian. Say this prayer, meaning it: “Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”  (Conclusion)

How To Get Born Again (part one)

10986038_869855373073904_7741853_n

Man, through Adam, fell and died spiritually. Since the Eden fall mankind had continued to sink in the opprobrium of the contravention of God’s law till it reached the notoriety of Genesis 6:5, “And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” Regretfully, the Mosaic account of God’s position in verse 6 reads, “And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.”

There is not a doubt that God had, through His prophet, Adam, told the pristine family of humanity, what to do to appease Him. Jehovah reminded Cain in Genesis 4:7, “If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.” The word ‘sin’ is the Hebrew for chaṭṭâ’âh or chaṭṭâ’th (khat-taw-aw’) means: ‘an offence (sometimes habitual sinfulness), and its penalty, occasion, sacrifice, or expiation.’ ‘Lieth’ is râbats (raw-bats’) ‘to crouch (on all four legs folded, like a recumbent animal); by implication to recline, repose, brood, lurk, imbed.’ A sacrificial lamb: a prefigurement of the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ was the sermon Whom Cain repudiated.

hat_christian_men_i_am_a_born_again_christian_embroidered_hat-p233345533917219600brn2t_400

At the resurrection of Jesus Christ He is the sole legal tender Lamb of the salvation of mankind. The Bible says in Romans 3:23, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” signifying that man is in need of salvation. It also reminds one of Ezekiel 18:4, “Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.” Man has been plunged into an untold spiritual quagmire. Even Nicodemus had no answer to this deeply rooted predicament. This is the profile of Nicodemus. His Greek name Nikodēmos (nik-od’-ay-mos) “conqueror” or ‘victorious among his people,’ was accepted even by the Jewish authorities. He was a member of the Sanhedrin. He was successful. This man could boast of a PhD in theology. And he was a law teacher of the scripture.

big_thumb

He could not understand John 3:3 “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” The word ‘born’ gennaō (ghen-nah’-o) means: ‘to procreate (properly of the father, but by extension of the mother); figuratively to regenerate.’ ‘Again’ is anōthen (an’-o-then): ‘from above; by analogy from the first; by implication anew.’ ‘Except’ and ‘cannot’ are words of negation, pointing to the impossibility of this new birth without following due process i.e. scriptural protocol. The permutational involvement in the rationalistic empiricism of the cultural phenomenon of the physical man beclouded the mind of Nicodemus.

This successful individual could not apprehend the spiritual context from the defining ‘regenerate’ neither could anōthen remind him of a new birth, midwifed by the Holy Ghost, coming from the decree of the One who sits on the throne of the heavenly assizes. Intellectuals, religionists, people of immense illustriousness and the wealthy class will twitch their noses in response to ‘get born again’! It is for this reason Jesus had to give Nicodemus the curative kerygma of John 3:6 “That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” He did that to save him from spiritual neurasthenia, a contagium that has bedeviled Christendom. Failure to follow through to the end the teachings of Biblical truism is the result of Lucifer’s incursion into human affairs. Very few churches make the altar call to lead people in the sinners’ prayer of salvation. While John 3:3 is the kerygma call to salvation, the practicality of the format prayer that gets one born again is found in Romans 10:9-10.

The Bible

Romans 10:9-10, 9) “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” ‘Confess’ is: homologeō (hom-ol-og-eh’-o) ‘to say the same thing as another, i.e. to agree with, assent.’ Homologeō is not in connection with an individual’s past sins. It is an acceptability design to get one acquainted with the Lamb to an eventuation of God’s expected acceptance of the Lordship of Jesus by the individual. It must be noted that the King James Version of the Bible that I always use in my exegesis of the scriptures was written in the flowery of the Elizabethan English. Verse nine gives an overview of the context; and what the first words say in our modern day English is, “…that if you should confessedly agree and declare verbally that Jesus is (your) Lord.” The 10th verse takes one through the steps to be taken in this salvaging ritual.

You have to believe the allusion to the kerygma (biblical message) of verse eight. Your heart must believe the finished work of the cross. Your mouth must confess that:

*Jesus is the Son of God. Mark 1:1; Luke 1:35, 22:70; John 3:8.

*Jesus died for your sin. John 1:29; Acts 2:36 & 1John 2:2.

*God raised Him from death. Romans 6:4, 10:9, 1Corinthians 6:14 & Colossians 2:12.

*Jesus is Lord. Psalms 110:1; Jeremiah 23:6; Luke 3:11; John 13:13; Acts 10:36; 1 Corinthians 12:3, 15:47 & Philippians 2:11

GOD? (part 2)

fire-of-god

THE CONSUMING FIRE!

The plain truth is that people do not know this God of creationism.

It really amazes me when I hear people say, “We’re all going to be with the Lord when we die”. Everybody believes his deceased loved one “has gone to be with God”. Which God? That is always the bone of contention. Jehovah, the God of creationism, has had it all spelled out in His holy writ who will and how to ascend to Him after the earthly sojourn. Non-compliance with John 3:3 will not get one introduced to Romans 10:9-10, the only ritual that paves the righteous way to eternal bliss. It would not even surprise me if some should be made to believe that, “when we get to heaven God, the merciful, will listen to our pleas.” Some believe that God is too merciful to throw anyone inside hell. The Bible says, “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God” [Hebrews 10:31]. How can people forget the hellish shower of conflagration that Jehovah used to annihilate the population of Sodom and Gomorrah?

fear God 1

They, obviously, do not have the flimsiest idea who He is. Hebrews 12:29 says, For our God is a consuming fire. The word ‘consuming’ is katanalisko (kat-an-al-is’-ko): ‘to consume utterly.’ He destroys disobedient people! The God I know will not allow obeisant competitiveness. “We’re all serving the same God”, I have always heard people intone. They are most certainly, not talking about the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel. His covenant name is Jehovah. You cannot have any spiritual rapport with Him until Jesus is introduced to you. You cannot be bowing down to some traditional deity, a certain First Cause, Great Spirit or whatever name you choose, and think that you are in an ethereal relationship with the Most High. As long as it is not the God of the Bible (I hope I do not sound like a stupid bigot?), forget it; you are not in any spiritual business with the true God.

Jehovah-God-Our-Lordblog

When God gives the donation of sanctification, justification and righteousness it is always an event of forensic invention. God does not need any witness to endow you with justification. He, the LORD God, is the Witness; and He is the Judge! He looks into your heart of faith in Jesus, and knowing fully well that you mean it from your heart, God imputes your faith as righteousness. “He does not do an infusion” (as FAUSSETT puts it) “which carries an implication of character change.”

The Lord did the needful: He took charge of your life personally; garbing you in the righteousness of justification. He now owns the justified new you absolutely! He cannot go back in His gabble backed pronouncement. And when I dwell on this well thought out covenant of Him I just cannot help wondering what a good God is Jehovah! All I hear myself exclaim is: “O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out [Romans 11:33]!” He is so good so much that He binds Himself by His word! Not that He is in bondage, not at all! He is so good that He wants His saints to be absolutely safe! And I declare, “What a God of mercy He is!”

jehovah

Isaiah 45:7, “I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.” This verse tends to see God as an accomplice to evil perpetration. The word ‘create’ is bârâ’ (baw-raw’): ‘(absolutely) to create i.e. without any existing material.’ Yâtsar (yaw-tsar’) is the Hebrew for ‘form’ and it means: ‘to mould into a form; especially as a potter; figuratively to determine (that is, form a resolution).’ ‘Make’ is ‛âśâh (aw-saw’): ‘to do, fashion, accomplish, work, make, produce (using an existing material).’

From extant elements God formed light, and made peace looking at the pleasant cohabitation between couples. Darkness and evil are synonymous. He is neither of them: for it is written in Genesis 1:31 “And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.” He plucked darkness and evil (out of nothing) to deal decisively with devilish inclinations.

It was on the day man that could not be found where God expected him to be for the simple reason that he had entered into the putrefaction of the sinful nature, and dead spiritually, that the inevitable judgment of, “cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;” and “In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return” of Genesis chapter 3 verses 17 & 19 respectively. God is truly not a respecter of persons (Acts 10:34). (…to be continued…)
