PHILIPPIANS 4:19 (three)

“…ye believe in God, believe also in me” (John 14:1).

3)            In contrast is the story of rich faithful man of God, Job. The devil was maniacally jealous of Job’s success even in the face of the reign of earthly Satanism. Job went through excruciating trials like none other in biblical accounts; yet he stuck, like the three Hebrew teenagers adamantly defied Nebuchadnezzar, to the LORD his God. After the trials Job was restored, becoming, probably, the richest on earth, where Lucifer prides himself as the god of its system. Job enjoyed his riches with no sorrow. In his majestic days Solomon was unarguably the number one richest person on the surface of the earth. He asked God for wisdom to rule successfully in the land of Israel. His prayer before the LORD God was not only answered, God told him in 1Kings 3:13, “And I have also given thee that which thou hast not asked, both riches, and honour: so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy days.”

Lucifer lost this estate – of the light bearer

Another scriptural proof of his ownership of the world is in John 12:31 “Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.” The word ‘prince’ is the Greek archōn (ar’-khone): ‘a first (in rank or power): ruler, commander, chief, leader.’ Satan did everything possible to scuttle divine mission of Jesus Christ. He failed woefully. John 14:30 “Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.”

1Corinthians 10:20 “But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.” All those who visit fetish doctors for money ritualism do so at the peril of their souls. Ephesians 2:2 says, “Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:” pointing out that any alliance, in whatever guise, one enters into through secret societies or fetish people is in disobedience to the will of God.

Ephesians 6:12 “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” The entities mentioned above are actually demonic beings who front for the devil who cannot be present everywhere. Lucifer may be powerful, but, he is never a being of omnipresence. Demons are the idols present at all money ritualism. The Bible sees entities like the Greek Plutus or Lakshmi of India both of which are mythological deities of wealth, to be entities of Ephesians 6:12.

Let us go back to Philippians 4:19. The word ‘supply’ is plēroō (play-ro’-o) meaning: ‘To make full, to fill up, i.e. to fill to the full; To cause to abound, to furnish or supply liberally; I abound, I am liberally supplied; To render full, i.e. to complete; To fill to the top: so that nothing shall be wanting to full measure, fill to the brim.’ ‘Need’ is chreia (khri’-ah): ‘Necessity. Duty. Employment, that is, an affair; also (by implication) occasion, demand, requirement or destitution:’ so that if anyone will come to Jesus has been saved from the bedevilled cursed of impecuniosity. Amen.

PHILIPPIANS 4:19 (two)

Apostle Paul, the author of the Book of Philippians

(…continues from part one)

2)            Man is not only expected to desire the regeneration of John 3:3, of fiducial appositeness it is, to be daily exploring the Scriptures that one may know more about the Creator, Saviour and the empyreal Mediator – Jesus. Outside Jesus Christ, none comes near the throne of celestial grace. Jesus Christ is the only language God the Father speaks. Colossians 1:16-17 “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17) And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.” How rich can the Entity of empyreal Majesty be? He owns every wealth of creationism. It will take scientific geniuses of global repute to give exact amount of universal wealth, the reason being that wealth continues to grow almost on daily basis. God is rich enough to make everyone on earth a trillionaire.

My God shall supply all your need. Have faith.

You may ask, “So why is the majority of human population wreathing in abject poverty?” From the day Adam and his wife committed the original sin, man sold the earth, its wealth and dominion to the Devil. Lucifer had always craved the desideration of deification. Having employed his cruel craft, he won the divine donation of Adamic dominion to himself, therefore, is the veridicality of the Scriptural “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them” (2Corinthians 4:4). And who is this god? He is Lucifer, Satan the Devil. He does not care a hoot what happens on earth and this is the reason why when Jesus met with the god of this sinful world, it was world quite different from the world he took over from the dwellers of Eden. The world had become an unkempt wilderness. Luke 4:5-7 “And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. 6) And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. 7) If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.”

“If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine” [Luke 4:7].

This evil entity, I find it hard to understand his absolute, egregious boldacity. Did he not know that he was standing in the presence of the incarnate God? He did. Any romance with evil thoughts is the darkest alienation from the goodness of the LORD God. Estranged from the counsel of the Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures and wisdom of knowledge, is the spirit of malfunction; which is not a creation of one’s inordinateness; it is a punishment from the Creator Himself, and for this reason Jehovah makes sure that the evil spirit rides, mercilessly, the person of evil thoughts against the LORD God, like a horse.

In the anomalous apotheosis of his desiderative drive against the eternally sacral mind of the LORD God, Lucifer got his inordinateness banishing him into the vagrancy of apodiabolosis – having lost his glorious, first estate – not holding the eternal Light of the Godhead but flung into absolutely pitch darkness. Cain knew no peace all his days; Judas Iscariot found himself in the straightjacket toga of Gehenna, for willing in himself to bewray the Lord of glory. The first thing Lucifer did after the fall of Adamic race was to establish covens of secret societies, to which members he gave riches and fame. But his donations come with hideous prices to pay: prices of wicked ritualism too disturbing to the soul of man. Nebuchadnezzar would tell you what manner of disgust it was going through those three aspects of divination: use of arrows (belomancy); consulting images (idolomancy or Hebraic teraphim) and looking into the liver (hepatoscopy), towards the end of his life when, as an idol worshipper, he consulted his gods for prosperity.

PHILIPPIANS 4:19 (one)

1)            The grandest veridicality of Philippians 4:19 couch is the superfluity containerised in the person of Jesus Christ. This veridicality does not make a proper evocation of the religious deception that springs from the F.A. Olafson’s known “reality of surprising semblance of vertical perception that gives glory to an accepted perpetual error.” If the Christ did have an enigmatic mysticism of tread upon the surface of our terra firma, and the facticity of Philippians 4:19 does establish the superabundance of wealth in His custody, then, my understanding of Philippians 4:19 is a pointer to the eternality of Jesus’ Divinity. Philippians 4:19 “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” The Pauline usage of the opening ‘but’ of this verse, contextually, speaks of positive continuative outcome grammatically.

Read it in the context of the preceding verses from the tenth and it is very clear that ‘but’ is an adversative ((linguistics) Expressing opposition or difference). In this context, ‘but’, the Greek de (deh) is: ‘A primary particle (adversative or continuative); but, and, also, and, moreover, now.’ Expressively, Paul is saying, “(Moreover, Now, And, On account of) what you, Philippian Church, has generously offered, my God shall supply…” making the ‘but’ a continuative conjunction of the apodosis. The conjunction ‘by’ is: en (en): ‘A primary preposition denoting (fixed) position (in place, time or state), and (by implication) instrumentality (medially or constructively), that is, a relation of rest: “in”, at, (up-) on, by, etc.;’ and the original Greek scripting has the ‘by’ actually as ‘IN’. The ‘by’ here, is the same as ‘in’ of this same verse. The scriptural concatenation locates all the riches of the Divinity in one Personage, Christ Jesus. If God is the Creator, does He not own all things? How vast is global wealth? In trillions or quadrillions, or is it a million times in calculation?

Maybe the question ought to be: how rich should the Almighty Creator be? Incalculable – taking His Omnipotence into cognizance –, most definitely, it must be. Theological studies make Him the Omniscient; knowing all must put all the wealth in existence in His possession. The same God is also the omnipresent Entity, seeing and exercising absolute suzerainty over the universal wealth. He can only wield riches, the magnitude which is of boundlessness in horizon. The LORD God is eternal, so is the extent of His riches, all of which has its location in Christ, and from whom the dispensing of it is made to all mankind of every creed and race. The word ‘riches’ is ploutos (ploo’-tos): ‘a good, i.e. that with which one is enriched; wealth (as fulness), that is, (literally) money, possessions, or (figuratively) abundance, richness, (specifically) valuable bestowment.’

Lakshmi, the Hindu goddess of wealth

Jesus Christ is the Prince of wealth and not Plutus, Lakshmi or any wealth distributing idolatrous deity of human obeisance. The Greek ploutos speaks of having more than enough of a need, only God can be such a providential Giver. When did God become this rich? Is it a million or septillion years ago? It is from the time ever before eternity past, when any physicality of creationism was yet to be. The Christ, God the Father and the Holy Spirit (The Trinity) own the inexhaustible riches in existence. The true God is the One who dispenses the wealth that comes with no sorrow. How could Jesus make the categorical John 14:14, “If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it?” It is because of His providential wealth suzerainty.

Philippians 4 verse 19 should not come to me as a surprise. It says of Him in Colossians 2:3 “In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” Also in Colossians 2:9 we have “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.” This is what it also says in John 1:1-4 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2) The same was in the beginning with God. 3) All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4) In him was life; and the life was the light of men.” Being the express word of God, Jesus is the totality of the thought, mind and will of the Divinity. What does this elucidate? Jesus is all we need to know in order to understand the divine mind of God.

Tithes Revisited (two)

Solomon in the Temple which houses the treasury

(Continued from part one…)

(2)          Now look at what he said in the 19th verse of Philippians chapter four, “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Is tithing an act of giving? Was tithing a route to the prosperity of Israel, God’s children? If Christians do have a better covenant of progeny, the only thing that can abolish Christian tithing must come from the express instruction of HIS protocol, the Bible. Nowhere in scripture is tithing forbidden after Christ’s resurrection. If God’s instruction is, “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house…,” we understand that the storehouse is in the Temple i.e. the New Testament Church. Amen!

When the Temple curtain tore in two at the death of Jesus, the Holy Spirit left the Jerusalem Temple. After the Pentecostal inaugural establishment of the Church, HIS place of assemblage with God’s children had always been the Church auditorium. That which was put in the storehouse must continue lest we be found guilty of “robbing God.” Amen. ‘Storehouse’ of Malachi 3:10 is ôtsâr (o-tsaw’): ‘a depository.’ Three verses prove that ôtsâr is of the temple.

Abraham brought the spoils; Melchizedek gave the communion of covenant.

1Chronicles 9:26, “For these Levites, the four chief porters, were in their set office, and were over the chambers and treasuries of the house of God.” ‘Treasuries’ is ôtsâr in Hebrew. ‘Treasure’ is in the Book of Nehemiah 10:38, “And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes unto the house of our God, to the chambers, into the treasure house.” Nehemiah 13:12 reads, “Then brought all Judah the tithe of the corn and the new wine and the oil unto the treasuries.” Ôtsâr is the same Hebrew for ‘treasuries’ in Nehemiah 13:12. Malachi 3:8, “Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.” If a refusal to handover tithes and offerings constitute robbery of God’s property, and I give out only my offerings am I not a thief in tithing? Selah!

Those two things (tithes and offerings) keep the bodies and the souls of the children of Aaron together. It keeps them out of hunger. Their priesthood was a full-time job. Numbers 18:21, “And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve, even the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.” The Christian headship of the Church is full-time, because God’s call is without repentance.

 The holy of holies

Numbers 18:20, “And the LORD spake unto Aaron, Thou shalt have no inheritance in their land, neither shalt thou have any part among them: I am thy part and thine inheritance among the children of Israel.” For the physical sustenance of Aaron, who is expected to be limited to ecumenical work, Solomon says, in Proverbs 3:9, “Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:” By definition the word ‘proverb’ is: ‘a short saying that stood for a whole discourse, the words of which are metaphorical.’

King Solomon is quoted, in 1Kings 4:32, to have reeled three whole thousand proverbs and additional one thousand songs. The breath involvement of the Divinity makes Solomonic wise documentation of an eternal consequence. A proverbial ‘substance’ must include your tithes. Hôn (hone), a noun masculine, is the Hebrew rendition of ‘substance,’ meaning: ‘wealth, riches,’ which definitely comes from the sweats of energetic business act. The king of proverbial utterances went on to divine the outcome of giving in the next verse 10, “So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.” Tithing? It is not compulsory for those who hate to have affluence. Verse 9 mentions the giving of ‘first fruits’ which is not to be made practical for a good scriptural reason.
