ADAMIC ELEVATION [5]

“God instructed Abram to leave his home with his wife, Sarai and his belongs and to go Canaan. God promised Abram and Sarai children. Abram obeyed God. A famine hit Canaan. Abram decided to go to Egypt, but was worried that the king of Egypt would want Sarai. He told Sarai to say she was his sister instead of his wife. Abram was correct. The king had Sarai brought to him and tried to pay Abram with gifts. Disease hit the kingaas palace. The king knew God had sent the illness and sent Abram away. They returned to Canaan. God again promised Abram and Sarai children. They were 85 and still childless. Sarai had Hagar, her servant, deliver a child for her. His name was Ishmael. After his birth, God changed Abramaas and Saraiaas names to Abraham and Sarah. Time passed and three strangers visited Abraham. They said Sarah would give birth to a son. Sarah began to laugh. Hearing her laugh the men said aIs anything too hard for the Lordai When Abraham was 100 years old, Sarah gave birth to a son, the child God had promised, named Isaac. Years later, the Lord told Abraham to take Isaac to a mountain and to offer him as a sacrifice to God. Abraham obeyed. As he was about to sacrifice Isaac, an angel of the Lord stopped him. God provided a ram and spared Isaac. Abrahamaas faith had passed Godaas test. Sarah died at age 127. Isaac grew up and married Rebekah. The Bible Art Library is a collection of commissioned biblical paintings. During the late 1970s and early 1980s, under a work-for-hire contract, artist Jim Padgett created illustrations for 208 Bible stories encompassing the entire Bible from Genesis through Revelation. There are over 2200 high-quality, colorful, and authentic illustrations. The illustrations are high quality, biblically and culturally accurate, supporting the reality of the stories and bringing them to life. They can be used to enhance communication of Bible stories in printed, video, digital, and/or audio forms.”

“I will certainly return unto thee” (Genesis 18:10)

(…continues from part 4…)

5)            Genesis 18:10-33 “And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him. 13) And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old? 14) Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son. 15) Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh. 17) And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do; 18) Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? 20) And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; 21) I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.

                23) And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked? 24) Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein? 25) That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? 26) And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes. 27) And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the LORD, which am but dust and ashes: 28) Peradventure there shall lack five of the fifty righteous: wilt thou destroy all the city for lack of five? And he said, If I find there forty and five, I will not destroy it.

Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked? (Genesis 18:23)

                29) And he spake unto him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found there. And he said, I will not do it for forty’s sake. 30) And he said unto him, Oh let not the LORD be angry, and I will speak: Peradventure there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do it, if I find thirty there. 31) And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the LORD: Peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for twenty’s sake. 32) And he said, Oh let not the LORD be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten’s sake. 33) And the LORD went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place.”

And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre (Genesis 18:1)

The above verses begin with, “And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day” (Genesis 18:1); and the ‘LORD’ is the Hebrew God, Jehovah – and this appearance was of none other than the Second Member of the Godhead, the Lord Jesus Christ, in His preincarnational manifestation. Verse seventeen proves His physical appearance going by the attestation of the soliloquy of the Divinity, “Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do?” In their discussion Abraham said, “Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the LORD, which am but dust and ashes:” addressing his Adducer as JEHOVAH. What does verse 33 say? “And the LORD went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place.” There was an actual discourse of historicity between God and a created intelligence.

And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face

Exodus 33:11-33 “And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle. Exodus 17) And the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name. 18) And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory. 19) And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy. 20) And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. 21) And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: 22) And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: 23) And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.” By the expression ‘face to face,’ close proximity is meant. Did Adam not see Him in the Eden Garden? So, why would His face be hidden from ocular exercise? Christ came with the full glory known only of the eternal Father and the Holy Spirit, and to behold that divine visage of eternality is to be scrutinized for absolute sinlessness and be found absolutely guiltless, not even of a smidgeon short of the glory of God. Christ had not settled the Adamic conflict with his Maker; to look at the Creator in the face – an offensive affront – is to be ready for judgment without having the covering of the righteousness of the slain Lamb of God – quite ominous.

Spiritual acquittal and discharge takes place only when one is born again. To be born again, say, with all your heart, this simple prayer:

“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”

IS THE MARIAN BIRTH THE FIRST EXISTENCE OF JESUS CHRIST? (Part seven)

The humanity of Second Member of the Godhead

(…continues from part 6…)

7)            In conclusion, Christ has always been. Lord Jesus has been from the eternal past, when nothing had the being of the creationism. His existence prior to the creationism, underscores the eternality of His Divinity. The biblical couch of Mosaic Pentateuch, as was dictated from the lips of the Most High, has a commencement of, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” The Hebraic scripting is notיהוה which has the transliteration of Yehôvâh or the English Jehovah. It is not ‘ĕlôahh a transliteration of אלוהּ, which means: God or god (in the singular). The term ‘God’ in Genesis 1:1 is אלהים with a transliteration of: ‘ĕlôhı̂ym (el-o-heem’). This ‘ĕlôhı̂ym is ‘God,’ in the plural. The reason why it is in the plural is simply because in the Godhood of the Divinity are three distinct Personages: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. If Jesus Christ is the Second Member of the Godhead, then, what does one say of Christians?  They are, indeed, highly favoured!Genesis 1:1

The verb, ‘made,’ found in John 1:14, being weak and or a wrong interpretation, tends to imply that the Word of God is an object of creationism. Going by the Greek for that word which is ginomai (ǰiy’-no-mai): ‘1. to cause to be (“gen”-erate). 2. (reflexively) to become (come into being),’ the Word of God, the Christ merely ‘came into being’ or just ‘became’ flesh i.e. mankind, which He, hitherto, was not! Simple! The word of Jesus is God’s word; and the word of God is the word of Jesus Christ. It is a conundrum! If it is not Christ, God does not utter it. The Word of God exists before eternality; was spoken to engender creationism. The WORD is of the Trinity. Why would the first mention of “God” in Scripture be ‘Elohiym –plurality of God—? Christ is eternally involved. Amen!

In Genesis 18:27-32, every mention of ‘Lord’ (with only ‘L’ as the capital) is the Hebrew  אֲדֹנָי which is the transliteration of ‘Adonay (ad-o-noy’). The Jewish tongue does not suffer ‘Adonay to be designated to any creature; it is absolutely of Jehovah, the Almighty Jehovah God. The Genesis chapter 18 scenario proves that Christ, in His preincarnate manifestation, showed up in His physical essence and did not only hold a discussion with Abraham and his wife, but was visibly seen by them. This show of physical responsibility by the Divinity underscores the keen interest that the Owner of the world has for the Adamic race. This tells me that the Divinity of Jesus is real; He answers prayers. Humans can rely on Him for divine beneficence.

Exodus 33:22-23 And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: 23) And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen. From the verses above, ‘hand’ is kaph (kaf): ‘1. the hollow hand or palm (so of the paw of an animal, of the sole, and even of the bowl of a dish or sling, the handle of a bolt, the leaves of a palm-tree). 2. (figuratively) power.’ The ‘hollowness’ of the hand presents to my perception the concavity of the divine caring hand of the Almighty and its eternally commodiousness for the protection all entities of creation over and over and again. The anthropomorphic dimension of God must ineluctably have five sprouts of gripping fingers and a thumb on His palm. Of course, it is the grace of God that took divine care of Moses, lest he inadvertently be led by stupid carnality to behold the face of eternality and be destroyed. Five is the scriptural number of grace. Hallelujah!

Jesus, the Word of God, during the Jerusalem Temple journey at age twelve.

Indeed, God’s protective hand which Moses, indubitably did see, is the physicality of the anthropomorphic hand of the Eternal LORD of creation, not in a dream, but in broad daylight! An absolute oomph! Incredulous! It certainly reminds me of the Scripture which says For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, of Titus 2:11, was an unfadable event so bodacious to ever evaporate from the mind of Moses. Stupendous phenomenality was this Mount Sinai spectacle! Every Christian inevitably has access to this eternal hand of God’s protective deliverance. Amen.

Why would the Lord choose the Jericho approach to appear in Person to Joshua? Jericho happened to be a great hurdle for Israel. The manna from heaven was about stop falling for their sustenance. It must have an involvement of divine operative to pulverize the impregnable walls of Jericho. When the Lord eventually makes His incarnational entry into our world He would bear the name of Joshua. His preincarnational manifestation should of necessity come face to face with His eventual name sake. Does He not make the divine asseveration of “without me ye canst do nothing” of John 15:5? Is Jehovah not called “a man of war” [Exodus 15:3]? A wise person will call on Jesus to fix the removal of all obstacles. Does the Bible not say of Him And he is before all things, and by him all things consist [Colossians 1:17]. The Greek for ‘consist’ is sunistao (sïn-iy-staō’) meaning, ‘to set together.’ Through Jesus all things are held together –an absolute preserve of the Almighty, most definitely.

Was wounded for my transgression; His death rolled away my death. Hallelujah!

It reads in the Book of Judges 13:2, And there was a certain man of Zorah, of the family of the Danites, whose name was Manoah; and his wife was barren, and bare not. The empyreal Visitant came for some notable causes. The name Zorah or the Hebraic Tsor`ah (tsor-aw’), ‘a place in Israel’ has its etymology in tsir`ah (tsir-aw’): ‘a wasp (as stinging).’ Danites being descendants of Dan, means ‘judge.’ Manoah means ‘complete rest.’ Put all of this together and you have come to the understanding that God came personally to judge the atrocities being meted on Israel, His sworn child of adoption. Christians are a holy nation like the Nazarite culmination of the birth of Samson. Nazarite means ‘holy, separate;’ and Samson is ‘sunlight.’ The Angel of the LORD, the preincarnational manifestation of the Christ, the Light of the world, called Himself ‘secret’ meaning ‘wonderful’, that immediately reminds one of Isaiah 9:6. Jesus will do everything to keep us safe. Bank on this; you will never lose! Never! Amen!

Get born again. Say this simple prayer, believing it with all your heart. Say:

“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”

IS THE MARIAN BIRTH THE FIRST EXISTENCE OF JESUS CHRIST? (Part six)

The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering…

(…continued from part 5…)

6)            God’s palm of His caring purity took care of that Mosaic problem –of not beholding God. But he saw the eternal backside of the Majestic splendour. Ask Moses how it was, he will tell you, “Unforgettable!” If the sight of His back turned Moses into the likeness of a God such that the Israelites could not behold the visage of Moses, asking him to do something about it for: “behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him” [Exodus 34:30].

“And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, 7) Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and to the fourth generation. 8) And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped” [Exodus 34:6-8]. Is this not the most dramatic scene of the entire Bible! This is not Hollywood. This is a case of an erratic entity, trying to apprehend eternality, and to contain the unimaginable overpowering stance of the eternal voice of the approaching Divinity.

YESHUA MESHIYACH

Moses was not encountering the boastful jingoism of Adamic proclivity when the I AM THAT I AM passed by in the full resplendence of His empyreal essence. The words of His eternal lips weigh trillions of tons in the abstrusity of its incredulity yet quite true. How can the entirety of empyrean corporality be visibly brought to the realm of Adamic sinfulness? Mind boggling of its confusion was the state Moses found himself. It was like, “Moses, Moses, how could you have asked for this too much of too muchness?” Of truth is the Yoruba adage, t’ómodé bá dé’bi èrù, èrù á bàá, interpreted as “when a child gets to a place of fearfulness, he will experience fear.”

Adam Clarke’s Commentary on the Bible does justice to this scenario: Clarke Exo 34:6 Verse 6. And the Lord passed by – and proclaimed, The Lord, c.] It would be much better to read this verse thus: “And the Lord passed by before him, and proclaimed JEHOVAH,” that is, showed Moses fully what was implied in this august name. Moses had requested God to show him his glory, (see the preceding chapter, Ex 33:18,) and God promised to proclaim or fully declare the name JEHOVAH, (Ex 33:19) by which proclamation or interpretation Moses should see how God would “be gracious to whom he would be gracious,” and how he would “be merciful to those to whom he would show mercy. Here therefore God fulfils that promise by proclaiming this name. It has long been a question, what is the meaning of the word יהוה JEHOVAH, Yehovah, Yehue, Yehveh, or Yeve, Jeue, Jao, Iao, Jhueh, and Jove; for it has been as variously pronounced as it has been differently interpreted. Some have maintained that it is utterly inexplicable; these of course have offered no mode of interpretation. Others say that it implies the essence of the Divine nature. Others, that it expresses the doctrine of the Trinity connected with the incarnation; the letter י yod standing for the Father, ה he for the Son, and ו vau (the connecting particle) for the Holy Spirit: and they add that the ה he being repeated in the word, signifies the human nature united to the Divine in the incarnation. These speculations are calculated to give very little satisfaction. How strange is it that none of these learned men have discovered that God himself interprets this name in Ex 34:6? “And the Lord passed by before him, and proclaimed יהוה YEHOVAH the LORD GOD, merciful and gracious, long-suffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty.” These words contain the proper interpretation of the venerable and glorious name JEHOVAH. But it will be necessary to consider them in detail.

The different names in this and the following verse have been considered as so many attributes of the Divine nature. Commentators divide them into eleven, thus: –

1. יהוה JEHOVAH.

2. אל EL, the strong or mighty God.

3. רחום RACHUM, the merciful Being, who is full of tenderness and compassion.

4. חנון CHANNUN, the gracious One; he whose nature is goodness itself; the loving God.

5. ארך אפים ERECH APPAYIM, long-suffering; the Being who, because of his goodness and tenderness, is not easily irritated, but suffers long and is kind.

6. רב RAB, the great or mighty One.

7. חסד CHESED, the bountiful Being; he who is exuberant in his beneficence.

8. אמת EMETH, the truth or true One; he alone who can neither deceive nor be deceived, who is the fountain of truth, and from whom all wisdom and knowledge must be derived.

9. נצר חסד NOTSER CHESED, the preserver of bountifulness; he whose beneficence never ends, keeping mercy for thousands of generations, showing compassion and mercy while the world endures.

10. נשא עון ופשע וחטאה NOSE avon vaphesha vechattaah, he who bears away iniquity and transgression and sin: properly, the REDEEMER, the Pardoner, the Forgiver; the Being whose prerogative alone it is to forgive sin and save the soul. ינקה(לו) נקה לא NAKKEH lo yenakkeh, the righteous Judge, who distributes justice with an impartial hand, with whom no innocent person can ever be condemned. And,

11. פקד עון POKED avon, c. he who visits iniquity, who punishes transgressors, and from whose justice no sinner can escape. The God of retributive and vindictive justice.

These eleven attributes, as they have been termed, are all included in the name JEHOVAH, and are, as we have before seen, the proper interpretation of it; but the meaning of several of these words has been variously understood.”

Just imagine if this Personage should get angry with you and will not grant you eternal pardon of the born again Christian, who and where would you run to for salvation? Selah.

Get born again. Say this simple prayer, believing it with all your heart. Say:

“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. IS THE MARIAN BIRTH THE FIRST EXISTENCE OF JESUS CHRIST? (Part five)

Who could have known that this young boy walked in the cool of Eden days?

(…continued from part 4…)

5)            Why worship the manifestation of the Divinity? They were told in the wilderness, “Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. 21) Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him” [Exodus 23:20-21]. Before then, in Exodus 14:19 “And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them:” is understood by them that the LORD and His manifestation are the Elohiym. The Spirit of God, no doubt, made them to use this particularity of ‘ı̂ysh in reference to their Visitant.

Manoah and his wife, prior to Samson.

It dawned on them why they continue to choose ‘ı̂ysh among other forms of ‘man’: the One on visitation was He, who told Abraham, “Your children will be my children and I will be their God.” As their God, Jehovah is their Husband, by an oath of covenant. He called His name ‘secret’ simply because none but the Most High must perform wondrous miracles. He is pâlîy all because He is past finding out. They wanted to make Him honourable, who is the Lord of lords and the King of kings. Note that this angel of the LORD did not object to being offered a gift. The gift to prophets and priests are money and victuals to take care of body and soul. When it comes to the LORD God of Israel, it is a sacrifice (which the angel of the LORD accepted).

The LORD visited Manoah and his wife before the birth of Samson.

This Visitant is the only One to receive sacrificial elements and when it was offered He rode on it to heaven, accepting the oblation. No scriptural angel accepts the object of immolation. So, you ask, “Why worship the manifestation of the Divinity?” The answer is found in no other place than the Bible. “And it came to pass, when Moses went out unto the tabernacle, that all the people rose up, and stood every man at his tent door, and looked after Moses, until he was gone into the tabernacle. 9) And it came to pass, as Moses entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar descended, and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the Lord talked with Moses. 10) And all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door” [Exodus 33:8-10]. This is what they know and must do. Amen! The Eternal Father will hide Himself from Adamic gaze. That is very necessary, in order not to destroy, for sighting the slightest sin. Jesus Christ is the only One among the Trinity who must receive Adamic gaze, so that He will stand as the Saviour that He truly is. They worshipped the pre-incarnate manifestation of Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord.

I beseech thee, shew me thy glory

What the ocular expression of Moses fell on was the most awe-inspiring phenomenality that has ever received an occurrence anywhere, anytime in the universe. “And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. 21) And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: 22) And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: 23) And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen” [Exodus 33:20-23]. This is what prompted the divine granting of this request by Moses, found in Exodus 33:18, “And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.” Jehovah is a God of legality. He is the ultimate Judge. His judgment, posing a nature of eternality, those who will approach God the Father must be given an opportunity to seek spiritual regeneration. The first Adamic object of perception was his Creator, Christ, the LORD God, without whom there was not anything made that was brought into creation (John 1:3).

Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live

They neither saw the Holy Spirit nor the First Member of the Godhead, the Father. But the object of the Mount Sinai ocular encounter of documentation was the very nature of the Divinity seated eternally on the empyreal throne! Christ Jesus is indeed one with the Father (John 10:30). To see the eternally probing visage of Christ in its true nature would have seen to the termination of the ministry of Moses. The first thing that the approaching LORD God did was to choose the place of engagement. Secondly, He used His tender holy hand to cover the sins of Moses and at the same time hide His judging face. His eternal visage is too much for human beholding; the anomalous tiniest bit of sin cannot survive the beholding of this eternality of purest sinlessness! It will most definitely stand in antagonism, unbeknown to the beholding anomaly. This Sinai phenomenon underscores the grace of the Divinity of Christ in His preincarnate manifestation. The divine palm of protection against the legality that would have destroyed Moses has four fingers plus a thumb: five –the number of grace. Moses did nothing to receive that protective grace. It was purely an act of divine sovereignty. Are we not saved by grace? Selah!

Get born again. Say this simple prayer, believing it with all your heart. Say:

“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. Which Is, And Which Was, And Which Is To Come. (two)

(…continued from part one…)

2)            Two is the number of witness and of testimony. The twice couched kai (i.e. and) of this phraseology (which was, and is, and is to come) underscores the transcendentalism of His Being. The One whose existence is visible to the present now is the very One whose being is from incalculable eternity of pre-creationism, and is the One who will continue to be in the eternity to come. No creature can assume this phenomenon.  Impossible! This is the reason why nothing can, in its absoluteness, be in homogeneity with the Divinity. This will make it quite easy to come to the facticity of His Omnipotence, Omnipresence and Omniscience. The facticity is in the phrasal ‘which is, was, and is to come.’

‘Is to come’ does not only agree with the grammatical imperfectness of the ‘which was,’ it couches the pellucidity of an unbroken agelessness of this Enigmatic Entity from eternity past, to the present earthly age and unto the eternity to come. How can this Jehovah, who existed in the eternity past, find His way here, and be containerize in the present time of mortality, to partake of calculable time (by the One who is forever timeless), and continue to live unto eternity to come? Quite abstruse! His eternal being has never been truncated. The heavenly abode knows not of the chronological dimension of Adam’s world: for there is neither day nor night in the empyrean abode of the Most High. This is how the eternal LORD God stepped into our world.

Revelation 1:8, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” The epithetical “which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty,” in this verse here, is strictly of the Second Member of the Godhead, Jesus Christ, and the express Word of God. A reenactment of the ‘burning bush’ of Mosaic experience is unfolding on the Island of Patmos, where Jesus made this introduction. Ask yourself why Jesus will call Himself ‘the Almighty.’

I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.” “Thou canst not see my face:” [Exodus 33:18 & 20]

Moses met God on the Horeb Mountain. That God the Father has never set His divine feet on planet earth is a limpidity. Who, ergo, is this Visitant that made a physical appearance to the Horeb Mountain? There His name, Jehovah, was revealed for the first time. Horeb in Hebrew is chôrêb (kho-rabe’) meaning: ‘desert, desolate; it is another name for Mount Sinai from which God gave the law to Moses and the Israelites; Chȏrȇb is a (generic) name for the Sinaitic mountains.’ Many things sprout from Horeb. It is a wilderness, serving appropriately for the unfruitful stance of Adamic progeny, stemming from the original sin of the Eden fall. It gives a picture of a crazy world that has jettisoned the worship of the true Elohiym. The Devil’s incursive onslaught of ‘steal, kill and destroy’ has left the world superably helpless, full of grief and devoid good life.

Moses at Mount Horeb divine rendezvous

The topographical height of Horeb pictures two entities: one of proclivious haughtiness –a wicked imposter– and One before Whom Moses stood, the High and Lofty Jehovah. The imposter is Pharaoh, who will soon feel the awesome power of the Most High. At Mount Horeb He is the invisible God, ergo, Moses can only hear Him behind the conflagration which pictures Him seated behind the katapetasma, known as the second veil of the Jerusalem Temple. But at Patmos which means ‘a trodden or beaten way, path,’ the same Lord has come to man, in the corporeality of Adamic nature, in humility, made a little lower than the angels (Psalm 8:5; Hebrews 2:9), despised at Golgotha (Isaiah 53:3), so that wherever the Christians tread may become their Divine donated inheritance (Joshua 14:9). Amen.

The commencement of Jesus’ introduction of Himself is ‘I am,’ ego eime in Greek. Ego eime is the Hebrew translation of hayah (haw-yaw), meaning: ‘to be, exist.’ It is the shortened, covenant name of God, I AM THAT I AM אהיה אשר אהיה EHEYEH asher EHEYEH. The Septuagint has it thus: Εγω ειμι ὁ Ων, I am he who exists. The ‘I am’ use of Jesus was not fortuitous. He had used the “I am” sobriquet in an absolutely deific reference to Jehovah, of Himself. “I am with you always,” of Matthew 28:20 is strictly omnipresent. “I am the light of the world” [John 8:12], is reminiscent of Revelation 21:23. John 8:18, I am one that bear witness of myself,” makes Jesus equal to the Father in the Pauline For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself” [Hebrews 6:13]. “I am the good shepherd” [John 10:11] takes us to who He is: found in Psalms 23:1 & 80:1. When He made the asseveration, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live” [John 11:25], Jesus unveiled His Lordship of creationism.

Rid your mind of unscriptural thoughts.

Amen!”

PROOF OF POWER (2)

By day a pillar of a cloud; and by night a pillar of fire (Exodus 13:21)

 (…continued from part one…)

*2*    Being the One who told Abraham to, “Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:” of Genesis 12:1, it then behoves His excellent Divinity to show His Almighty power. God would not allow His covenanted son and friend to lose his wife. The manifestation of His power got Abraham’s family protected from Pharaoh’s incursion. Why? Satan wanted to scuttle the birth of the next man to receive the baton towards the emergence of the nation of Israel, and ultimately the birth of Jesus.

Again Israel was saved from Pharaoh. When God sent Moses to Pharaoh, HE knew that the king of Egypt would refuse. Exodus 3:19, And I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not by a mighty hand. Jehovah had to do what HE must do; Then the LORD said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land (Exodus 6:1). The word, ‘strong’ is chazaq (khaw-zawk’): ‘strong (usu. in a bad sense, hard, bold, violent).’ And the word ‘hand’ is yad (yawd) ‘a hand (the open one (indicating power, means, direction, etc.), in distinction from kaph (kaf) ‘the hollow hand or palm,’ the closed one).

I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts

God’s power was practically put on the line when it came to the matter of David and Goliath. All was set for the prophetic father of the Messiah, the Branch, Son, the Lord (Daniel 9:25; Isaiah 11:1, 9:6 & Psalm 110:1) of David as the king of Israel, and Goliath, whose name Golyath (gol-yath’) means: ‘exile’ which comes another Hebrew galah (gaw-law’) ‘1. to denude (especially in a disgraceful sense) 2. (by implication) to exile (captives being usually stripped) 3. (figuratively) to reveal.’ Goliath is the type and shadow of the Antichrist, come to strip Christians of their righteousness and get them destroyed.

1Samuel 17:43 And the Philistine said unto David, Am I a dog, that thou comest to me with staves? And the Philistine cursed David by his gods.” Goliath drew the battle line. God must prove His power through His ‘beloved,’ which is the definition of David. 1Samuel 17:45, Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied. David did the expected. He involved the strength of Jehovah.

Faith drew the grace of God unto David

It was very apposite for David to use stones and it must be five in number. When Jesus said to Peter, “thou art Peter,” He meant, “thou art a stone.” The stone represents every Christian. Five is the number of grace, without which none will get born again, be cleansed, and justified to become God’s child. For these reasons God must show His power.

2Corinthians 5:7 declares, For we walk by faith, not by sight.” Our faith, therefore, is an invocation of His power. That, Prophet Elijah did prove at Mount Carmel. It was Jehovah versus Baal, the sun god, the idol that Nimrod made global. We know that these demons can conjure anything. So, how come Lucifer could not do that, that time around? God’s power is incontestable. Satan was told to, “Shut up!” Unfortunately, Elijah forgot to rely on this same power. He could not ignite the power to shut the idolatrous mouth of Jezebel. He lost faith, by deciding to walk by sight, too bad.

The ultimate exhibition of His power was at the cross. He had to do the impossible: die and conquer death in its most eerie underground of hellish abode.

The likeness of rhetorical ponderosity in a grand Pauline revelation is found in Ephesians 1:19, “And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,” where ‘exceeding greatness’ is the Greek, huperballō megethos. Verse 20 says, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places.” Let us do an exegesis of this Scripture.

‘Exceeding’ is the Greek huperballo (hoop-er-bal’-lo) ‘to throw beyond the usual mark; (figuratively) to surpass (only active participle supereminent).’ ‘Greatness’ is megethos (meg’-eth-os) ‘magnitude (figuratively).’ The expression, ‘exceeding greatness’ huperballo megethos, is saying that, “Target any distance, in your wildest dreams,” Paul is teaching here, “and God will surpass it far, far by far!” In fact think about incalculable monstrosity of inter-continental ballistic missiles and they would not equal the awesome strength of Jehovah. That is what huperballo megethos is all about. The first ‘power’ is dunamis (doo’-nam-is) ‘1. Force 2. (specially) miraculous power 3. (usually by implication) a miracle itself.’ Power that translates ‘working’ is energeia (en-erg’-ei-ah) ‘efficiency (“energy”),’ and ‘mighty,’ ischus (is-khoos’), means: ‘strength, forcefulness. The second ‘power’ (of verse 19) is kratos (krat’-os): ‘vigor (“great”).’

REVEREND CHRIS OKOTIE (five)

 PASTOR-CHRIS-OKOTIE  (…continued from part four…)

*5*            My Deeper Life Church pastor and friend, in his asseveration, pointed out, in all seriousness, that having crashed to conjugal relationships, Reverend Chris Okotie is not fit for his pastoral office again. Too bad, the way many Christian sects interpret the protocol of the LORD God. Adam, did he not start all these earthly palaver we have found ourselves in? Did he lose his federal headship of the human race? Noah, it is on record, threw man back into the curse of sinfulness when he cursed Canaan. Where is Noah, heaven or hell?

Moses did anger the LORD God, hence, did not taste of the land that flowed with milk and honey or did he? Could he be in hell? Could he be in hell and Jesus will call for his presence in the transfiguration on the mount? David, no doubt, I believe, did worse things compared to Rev. Chris Okotie’s divorce saga (never meant to excuse any miscreant act). Did David lose his life, head, crown, Israel or heaven, which one or ones did David lose? David, for your information, was not just a king, he was a prophet.

The brilliant thinking Pastor

Moses, as their leader, held a political post, his priestly and prophetic offices were ecumenical, thus religious. Solomon went as far as not only building satanic shrines, he was their guest and even bowed his head before those idolatrous images. Solomon did not only keep his crown, he grew older to be an improved preacher, prophet and king. Did Solomon go to hell?

The eleven disciples forsook Jesus. Were they not restored? What do they understand of Romans 11:29, For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance?” The noun ‘gifts’ is charisma (khar’-is-mah) in Greek, and it means: 1. a (divine) gratuity, i.e. deliverance (from danger or passion) 2. (specially), a (spiritual) endowment 3. (subjectively) religious qualification 4. (objectively) miraculous faculty.’

Rev-Chris-Okotie-richest-pastor-in-Nigeria

The Diamond aged celebrant

What is ‘calling’ in Greek? It is klesis (klay`-sis) 1. a calling 2. (specially) a divine calling 3. (figuratively) an invitation 4. (by extension) a name.’ The two words ‘without repentance’ come as one Greek word, ametameletos (am-et-am-el’-ay-tos). Ametameletos comes from the negative particle ‘a’ meaning ‘not’ and metamellomai (met-am-el’-lom-ai) ‘to care afterwards, i.e. regret.’ Ametameletos here in this verse means: ‘irrevocable.’ Once HE calls you, either as a born again or into the ecumenical office, it is absolutely irrevocable. Amen.

If you have opened your Bible, say, “Uh huh uh huh!”

I am just trying to imagine what would have happened if Rev. Chris Okotie had not heeded the call? The revolution this man of God has championed in scriptural didacticism is phenomenal. He does not sit atop hundreds or thousands of churches as the alpha and the omega. He pastors only one Household Of God Church. He is richer than many of the General Overseers or General Superintendents with too many churches they can effectively manage.

Rev. Chris Okotie is the man!!!

I believe I know one of the reasons why his marriages would not succeed. It is to deny him of fatherhood. Imagine he has for children: two males and two females. They would be heads of the Church’s departments. When the children he had successful nurtured in the Lord would hold hands with him in prayers, what do you think will happen? They will not only relocate mountains, they will pulverize Gibraltars and the Himalayas put together! Satan will enter ‘gàù. Lucifer hates that!  2019-elections-pastor-chris-okotie-backs-buhari-says-nigerians-should-give-him-total-support

My Prince looks so good so much that you cannot believe that he is three scores years old. Your pulchritude, my dear Pastor, is a divine beneficence. Your modish sense is Solomonic exemplum. Indeed, only a man full of sapient ingenuity like Pastor Chris Okotie luxuriates in triumphal accomplishments. You fear the Lord, you love the LORD God, no wonder you are like David, the one HE has seen to lead in paths of righteousness that exalts a nation. If Moses, Samuel, David and Solomon all held spiritual and political posts concurrently in their respective days, what, I ask is wrong with Rev. Chris Okotie’s intention to run for the political Presidency of Nigeria, his dear country? I just love your swag. Thank you for being my pastor!

He must for all reasons have the patrician swag. He’s God’s child.

Anyone who wishes to be an attestant to the vertex titillation that resides inside the stormy gene of Chris Okotie should just ask him who Jesus is! You will receive a treatment of an overwhelming amalgamation of grammar and raw scripture! Nothing commoves my Pastor like the Lord Jesus. Happy birthday, my Prince, sir! I love your patrician swag.

THE MAN OF GOD! MANY HAPPY RETURNS, SIR!!

What do I say to my Prince at 60? My Pastor, I bless the name of our Lord, Jesus, for calling you into the ministry and the profundity of my thanks to you for heeding the call, takes on a cornucopian fluidity. THE LORD OF EXODUS (part 3)

 shiningstones

“Why would God show Himself to man?”

(…continued from part two…)         The question that should be begging for an audience, at this juncture is: “Why would God show Himself?” To Adam: it was to prove not only His true physical existence but to become man’s salvaging strength. He did not just appear to Adam every cool of the evening, He walked towards them to teach the lifestyle of righteousness. To Moses: to prove His integrity for: with Abraham a covenant was made to honour His word of Genesis 3:15 “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.” God deemed it essential to show Himself to Abraham.

The possible site where God showed Himself to Moses

Abraham’s faith was essential to get him to perform an adumbration of the Calvary sacrifice with Isaac, engendering God’s promise to actuate Israel and eventually Himself, even Jesus. The LORD God had to show up personally to give the necessary legal backing to the raising of His covenanted Israel. This is God’s business. The business of giving man an eternal option of heaven or hell. It’s difficult to have riches on earth; Lucifer having cornered all the gold of Havilah. He showed up to present a leeway in circumvention of Lucifer’s incontrovertible volar grasp enthronement of financial oligarchy. In Hebrew, Havilah is chăvı̂ylâh (khav-ee-law’): ‘circle.’ And this is the vicious circle that Satan wraps round wealth acquisition. He gives it only to those who have gone through esoteric initiation. Check out the spiritual stand of the globally very rich people.

havilah

The LORD of Exodus walked the walk to make us rich. 2Corinthians 8:9, “For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.” The enemy is a roaring lion and a raging storm. He must be silenced, so what did He do? Mark 4:39, “And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.” The verbal ‘arose’ is diegeirō (dee-eg-i’-ro): ‘to wake up, awaken, arouse (from sleep).’ Right from the day man tasted of sin he died. Man became a walking cadaver. Man began to live through spiritual somnambulism.

beb66ad3941bb83b01d8caeaefd3fe29

Moses became living solar illumination whose countenance could not beheld!

For this reality the Lord of Exodus ‘arose’ for: He had to enter into death on our behalf. ‘Rebuked’ is epitimaō (ep-ee-tee-mah’-o): ‘to tax upon, that is, censure or admonish; by implication forbid.’ Adam did forfeit his dominion of the earth when he was found guilty of sin. The LORD, found in the habiliment of man, arose to the occasion, censured the enemy’s attempt and forbidding his evil intent. ‘Peace’ is siōpaō (see-o-pah’-o) ‘to be silent, hold one’s peace; used of one’s silence because dumb; metaphorically of a calm, quiet sea.’ The tempestuous enemy must be forced to keep quiet.

3c7f4d22f06b84c15d5a3f0b47d75c8f

The LORD, even over the waters

Peace that had eluded man all these centuries is now restored. Amen. ‘Be still’ is phimoō (fee-mo’-o): ‘to close the mouth with a muzzle, to muzzle; metaphorically: to stop the mouth, make speechless, reduce to silence to become speechless; to be kept in check.’ The enemy, officially, has been kept in check. Why should Jesus bother Himself with this that looks like a show off? It was germane that He should stand up for the fallen man. He was in the fashion of a man, ergo, it was expected of Him to champion the course of humanity. If He is the LORD of Exodus this was the opportunity to prove it.

b94277580a264d82ccc75dde9927ee90

He came to calm the evil storm of mankind! Amen!!

He must of the necessity of legality rebuke the stormy ocean to authenticate His divine Lordship even over the waters. Water, in scripture represents humanity or the word. The Lord did not rebuke the water actually. It was the evil spirit of Satanism that was silenced and muzzled. Kept in check and the perfect consummation of which will be effected when he is imprisoned for one whole thousand years! And these are the reasons why He did take that walk away from Moses (whose sunny countenance they could not phantom) so as to enable this rendezvous. Jesus, the Rock of ages, in His preincarnate manifestation, is the LORD God of Exodus 34:6-7. Amen! Hallelujah!

THE LORD OF EXODUS (part 2)

99dfc782bdb91582d9d0a7047d501c96

          THIS IS THE LORD GOD!

(…continued from part one…)          We, as Christians, are spiritually blameless. The LORD was going somewhere: to Bethlehem that is bêyth lechem (bayth leh’-khem) in Hebrew, meaning: “house of bread (food);” simply because He is the bread of the eternal life, the One to shepherd us through the checkered vicissitudes of an unfortunate cosmic design which legally accepts Satan as the god of its habituation. Moses and Elijah did get summoned for a divine rendezvous at the mountain of the Transfiguration.

The LORD God of Exodus walked into man’s affairs as Êl so that it could be said, “He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts” [Luke 1:51]. An accusing Isaiah 53:1, “Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?” can never be directed at Christians just because “….for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day” [2Timothy 1:12].

7ca5ff4862e0d357a3c29437fe134f9b

Isaiah proclaimed the strength of this God thus: “Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation” [Isaiah 12:2]. The LORD of Exodus is an exudation of sanguinity in Titus 2:13, “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.” A sanguine disposition that keeps us in perfect control of Satanism knowing fully well of His consummative strength declared in Jude 1:25 “To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.”

Our Christian God is real!

The word ‘ever’ is made up of three Greek words: i) eis (ice): ‘A primary preposition; to or into (indicating the point reached or entered), of place, time, or (figuratively) purpose (result, etc.); also in adverbial phrases;’ ii) pas (pas) ‘individually; each, every, any, all, the whole, everyone, all things, everything;’ and iii) aiōn (ahee-ohn’) ‘for ever, an unbroken age, perpetuity of time, eternity.’ The scientific calculation of time is too weak to ascertain the numerical extent of the ‘ever’ that God will continue to wield His power. Awesome!!

460x200

The Bible teaches, “And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped” [Exodus 34:8]. Could Moses have bowed in obeisant worship of an angel? Jehovah alone deserves the description of “Awesome!!” None else can be defined as: ‘inspiring an adorable reverence, and fear mingled with wonder!’ Who? Selah.

God is ‘merciful,’ the Hebrew of which is rachûm (rakh-oom’): ‘compassionate.’ ‘Gracious’ is channûn (khan-noon’) it comes from chânan (khaw-nan’) which properly means: ‘to bend or stoop in kindness to an inferior; to favor, bestow.’ ‘Longsuffering’ is made of two words:  ‘ârêk (aw-rake’) ‘long (pinions); patient, slow to anger’ and ‘aph (af) the nose or nostril; hence the face, and occasionally a person; also (from the rapid breathing in passion) ire.’ Chêsêd (kheh’-sed) is the Hebrew word for ‘goodness’ and it means: kindness; by implication (towards God) piety; rarely (by opprobrium) reproof, or (subjectively) beauty.’

 87515954_4638534_1327144123_60_sh

God’s very fingers etched the Ten Commandments

God is abundant in ‘truth’ which is ’emeth (eh’-meth) stability; figuratively certainty, truth, trustworthiness.’ The word ‘keeping’ in the seventh verse of Exodus chapter 34 is nâtsar (naw-tsar’) to guard, in a good sense (to protect, maintain, obey, etc.) or a bad one (to conceal, etc.).’ ‘Mercy’ means the same as ‘goodness,’ while ‘forgiveness’ is nâsâh (naw-saw’) ‘to lift, in a great variety of applications, literally and figuratively, absolutely and relatively.’ The abstract noun ‘iniquity’ is ‛âvôn (aw-vone’) ‘perversity, that is, (moral) evil;’ and ‘transgression’ is pesha (peh’-shah) ‘a revolt (national, moral or religious).’ The objective case of ‘the guilty’ and ‘generation’ are in italics (they are not in the original Hebrew text). ‘Clear’ is nâqâh (naw-kaw’) ‘to be (or make) clean (literally or figuratively); by implication (in an adverse sense) to be bare, that is, extirpated.’ This indeed is Jehovah.

Get born again to receive eternal bliss from the LORD of Exodus, say, Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. THE LORD OF EXODUS (part 1)

dia-de-deus (5)

“The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious…”

Who is this chanting Lord, apprising Moses of the self-encomium, “The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, 7) Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and to the fourth generation [Exodus 34:6-7]? This is Yahweh Elohim. The I AM. The Creator of the heavens and the earth. The One who is, who was and is to come. The Almighty! Unfortunately, some pastors teach that this One of the Book of Exodus is an angel.

IS THE NAME OF GOD THE SOUND OF OUR BREATHING

Is the name of God the sound of our breathing?

‘LORD,’ in capitals is the Hebraic יהוה with a transliteration: yehôvâh (pronounced- yeh-ho-vaw’) BDB Definition: Jehovah = “the existing One.” The proper name of the one true God. Unpronounced except with the vowel pointings of {‘ădônây (ad-o-noy’): An emphatic form of ‘âdôn; the Lord (used as a proper name of God only)}.’ Strong’s Definition: (the) self Existent or eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God.’ Origin of this name is from  היהhâyâh (haw-yaw) ‘to be, become, come to pass, exist, happen, fall out; to exist, that is, be or become, come to pass (always emphatic, and not a mere copula or auxiliary).’

a08480b2ea3f22425d15b416dc16851d

“Come unto Me all ye that labour and are heavy laden.

Êl is the Hebrew word for ‘God’ which is pronounced (ale). It is defined as: ‘strength; as adjective mighty; especially the Almighty (but used also of any deity).’ Moses had impetrated the LORD in the eighteenth verse of the preceding chapter, which reads: “And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory” [Exodus 33:18]. Israelites had beheld the LORD as the pillar of cloud and of the fire. What Moses prayed to behold was the true glorious physical nature of Him. The likeness and the image (of Himself) of which He, at creation (Genesis 1:26), asked to be the prototype in the making of Adam. Moses was desirous to see This Personage who walked the Garden of Eden in the cool of the evening. Moses did not impetrate an angel as this chapter reveals.

God graciously granted him his wish in Exodus 33:19-20 “And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy. 20) And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.” (An angel cannot say this!) Only HIS goodness could be made available to the sinful eyes of mankind. God is so good. The LORD knows that to behold His countenance is to be brought to judgment. Jehovah’s magnanimity, when it comes to showering mercy, is so evident here. His scrupulousness is an unparalleled, parental loving kindness.

643a2f62398e1673579a42c58d8a669f

Exodus 33:21-23, 21) “And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: 22) And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: 23) And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.” The word ‘cover’ is śâkak (saw-kak’) ‘properly to entwine as a screen; by implication to fence in, cover over, (figuratively) protect.’ ‘Hand’ is kaph (kaf): ‘palm, hand, sole, palm of the hand, hollow or flat of the hand.’   How more paternally can one be? God knew that Moses was still existing in the carnality of human sinfulness. Jesus had not yet died for man’s spiritual emancipation. A look at him from His magisterial stance, as Elohim, will not spare even the meekest adjudged moral quality of Moses. Jehovah is the true Protector. It was the same palm that formed Adam and his woman that was made readily available to get entwined adorably around Moses, His servant, prophet and leader of His chosen Israelites by the oath of His divine mouth.

je-suis-lumiere

The Hebrew for ‘back side’ is ‘âchôr (aw-khore’): ‘the back side, the rear; backwards; hereafter (of time); behind.’ The word ‘face’ is pânı̂ym (paw-neem’): ‘Plural (but always used as a singular) of an unused noun (פּנה pâneh, (paw-neh’); the face (as the part that turns); used in a great variety of applications (literally and figuratively); also (with prepositional prefix) as a preposition (before, etc.).’

The LORD would not bring Israel to judgment by throwing the legality of the terms of His gaze at Moses. As pânı̂ym defines, His face turns in only two directions. The direction of evil for a summary sentence; while that of righteousness receives the virginal verdict of “…..Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:” [Matthew 25:34]. Rather than give Moses an ominous gaze, the Lord took a walk. He walked His righteous walk away on behalf of Israel, His child. His walk was a promise to show Himself, thereafter, at the appointed time. As long as the physical or spiritual Israel is involved, the LORD of Exodus has walked our righteous walk on our behalf. Amen.

Get born again to to receive eternal bliss from the LORD of Exodus, say, “Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God.
