The Christmas Story (Part two)

The wise men ask King Herod, “Where is the King of the Jews?”

2)            The Christmas story, truly, is the story of the Most High. It is an emancipative design of soteriology. So much information is couched here in Matthew 2:1,Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, and in verse 11, And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh. This is undoubtedly of a historical event.

Bethlehem means ‘the house of bread (i.e. in a fertile land).’ Jesus is the Bread of life (John 6:33, 35, 48 & 51). John 6:35 “And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.” Judaea, the same as Judah, means ‘praise.’ His birth is a prophetic fulfilment of great joy. Luke 2:13-14, “And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, 14) Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” Praises of the angelic host signified an end to the angelic conflict boldatiously engendered by the procacity of Lucifer in the satanic putsch. The Adamic original sin question has finally been resolved by this incarnational ingenuity of the Trinity.

Herod is the Greek Herodes (hay-ro’-dace) meaning ‘heroic.’ This king is Herod the Great. His heroic greatness is of man, the labour to which greatness is wood, hay and stubble (1Cor. 3:12) which profiteth nothing (John 6:63). Jesus is the true Hero of our miserable life of sinfulness. Herod’s political heroism cannot be compared to the soteriological kerygma of the Lord Jesus which says of Him, The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world (John 1:29). The geographical ‘east,’ from where the wise men or Magi came from is anatole (an-at-ol-ay’) ‘1. a rising of light 2. (figuratively) dawn 3. (by implication) the east (also in plural).’ Man had been looking esoterically at the sun in the worship of the sun god, Baal or Nimrod. The true Light shone into the cogitations of these astrologers and they decided to seek the Truth even Jesus. They forsook idolatrous Nimro-Semiramic assistance, turned to Jesus, the King of kings, and the Saviour of mankind.

They came to Jerusalem which in Hebrew is Yruwshalaim (yer-oo-shaw-lah’-im) (rarely Yruwshalayim {yer-oo- shaw-lah’-yim}) and it means: ‘founded peaceful.’ Who is the Prince of peace [Isaiah 9:6]? Jesus! Who is the foundation upon which our Christian faith stands as a construction [1Corinthians 3:11]? Jesus! ‘House’ of verse Matthew 2:11 is oikia (oy-kee’-ah): ‘1. (properly, abstractly) a residence 2. (usually, concretely) an abode 3. (by implication) a family (especially domestics).’ In approaching the ‘house’ where the Baby Jesus was born, the wise men identified themselves with the family of God. No one comes to God’s abode and will not fall down in worship of Him, who alone is truly worthy of our worship. Amen! Mary is of the Hebraic Miryam (meer-yawm’). It means ‘bitterness’ and it means ‘rebelliously.’ Since the woman’s vitiation of God’s instruction of “but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil thou shalt not eat of it” [Gen. 2:17], mankind had incessantly disobeyed God. It was important that a woman and more importantly a one whose sobriquet is a reminder of the Adamic, should be the one to say, “Yes, thy will be done, O LORD God!”

They gave from their ‘treasures’ which is thesauros (thay-sau-ros’): ‘a deposit, i.e. wealth.’ The wise men gave of their possessions to acknowledge the Lordship of the Lord of lords. They gave in worship of the Most High. They understood this is Ancient of days who had become the Infant of days. The word ‘gifts’ from the wise men is doron (do`-ron) ‘a present, specially, a sacrifice.’ It dawned on them that this is the ultimate gift from the beneficence of the eternal Father, which will turn out to be the ultimate sacrifice for the redemption of this sinful world.

The Christmas Story (Part one)

For unto us a child is born….a Son is given

It is so amazing going through the contextual characterization of the Christmas story.

Mary: the femininity of virtuous and vestal reserve.

Joseph: the just man and the provider of the legality of a ménage.

Gabriel: the herald of celestial acknowledgement.

The Magi: wise men from the Orient.                                                                                                                                             The shepherds: characters who adumbrate Jesus.

Baby Jesus: the humanity of Christ, the Everlasting Father.

Holy Ghost: the energizing Spirit (the Second Member) of the Godhead.

God needed a just man. He found him in Joseph. Amen!

Matthew 1:18, Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. The legitimacy of this birth warrants Mary’s espousal to a man. The celestial abode is a family entity. That is where Christ comes from. When Jesus said, In my Father’s house are many mansions: of John 14:2, the word ‘house,’ oikia (oy-kee’-ah) means: ‘1. (properly, abstractly) a residence 2. (usually, concretely) an abode 3. (by implication) a family (especially domestics).’ The angels are never referred to as slaves; they are called ‘sons.’ Two chapters of Book of Job do this justice: 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them. Job 38:7 says, “When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?” In both verses, the word ‘sons’ is ben (bane): ‘1. a son (as a builder of the family name), in the widest sense (of literal and figurative relationship, including grandson, subject, nation, quality or condition.’

Joseph must be involved to provide paternal headship required of every family. Joseph must be a legitimate husband for the family to receive God’s approval. He met all the spiritual requirements. How? Joseph comes from the Davidic lineage which bestows the majestic status on Jesus. The book of Matthew chapter one has, undoubtedly, is of Joseph. Matthew 1:1 began the genealogy: The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. It went on to verse six where the royalty of Jesus reads: And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias (Matthew 1:6); and to the conclusive, And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ (Matthew 1:16).

Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth

In the first chapter of Luke it says somewhere: And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth” (Luke 1:26). Who is Gabriel? He introduced himself in Luke 1:19, And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings. What is the meaning of Gabriel? It is the Hebraic גַּברִיאֵל Gabriy’el (gab-ree-ale’) ‘1. man of God 2. Gabriel, an archangel.’ Gabriy’el comes from two words: geber (gheh’-ber) which generally means: ‘a person simply’ but (properly) a valiant man or warrior;’ and the second is ‘el (ale) ‘1. Strength 2. (as adjective) mighty 3. (especially) the Almighty (but used also of any deity).’ This angel is ‘man of God’ who came to announce the incarnation the God-man, the Lord from heaven and the Second Member of the Godhead. Gabriel’s noel involvement is an endorsement of the One (of Revelation 4:2), who sits on the throne of the celestial assizes.

Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, so says the Bible in Matthew 2:1. The word ‘wise’ is the Greek, magos (mag’-os): ‘1. a Magian, i.e. Oriental scientist 2. (by implication) a magician or sorcerer.’ They were, as men, more than one individual, ergo, Magi in the plurality of their number (the Bible, silent about the exact number, we cannot say three, regardless of the number of the gifts they offered). Professionally they were star and moon gazing astrologers of the Spirit offending Nimro-Semiramic order. It was very apropos to necessitate the visit of the Magi. They represent the spiritual powers of Satanism, which must bow before the LORD God, because it says, And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: [Matthew 2:11]. ‘Worship’ is proskuneo (pros-koo-neh’-o) ‘1. to fawn or crouch to 2. to fall face down (prostrate) in adoration 3. a physical act of lowering oneself in humble submission with an attitude of utmost adoration or respect.’

Shepherds must be involved. HE is the Great Shepherd!

The Greek rendition poimen (poy-mayn’) meaning ‘a shepherd;’ will be well understood from the Hebraic ra`ah (raw-aw’) ‘1. to tend a flock i.e. pasture it 2. (intransitively, literally or figuratively) to graze 3. (generally) to rule 4. (by extension) to associate with (as a friend).’ The shepherds were so overjoyed to receive the Good Shepherd (John 10:11), Great Shepherd (Hebrews 13:20) even the Chief Shepherd (1Peter 5:4) of Psalm 23, Jehovah Jesus. Amen!

Baby Jesus, the central of attraction, is the nonpareil Adam. The seemingly weakling of His infancy is the humanity of ‘which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. The swaddling-clothed infantility is the Bishop of our dying souls (1Peter 2:25).

If this is the Son of God, is not germane that the Holy Spirit must be involved for the consummate midwifery of His incarnation? God must be involved in God’s business. Amen!

CATHOLICISM AND MARY (VI)

Nowhere does the Bible support the emblematic holiness of the halo

 (…continued from part five…)

VI.          Mariology in the 19th century was dominated by discussions about the dogmatic definition of the Immaculate Conception and the First Vatican Council. In 1854, Pope Pius IX, with the support of the overwhelming majority of Roman Catholic Bishops, whom he had consulted between the years of 1851–1853, proclaimed the dogma of the Immaculate Conception, which had been a traditional belief among the faithful for centuries.                                                                                                                                                                  On 8 May, during the First Vatican Council, a majority of the fathers voted to reject making the Assumption a dogma, a position shared by Pope Pius IX. In its support, Council fathers highlighted the divine motherhood of Mary and called her the mother of all graces. In 1950, the dogma of the Assumption of Mary received an encyclical from Pope Pius XII. The Second Vatican Council spoke of Mary as Mother of the Church. In 1988 Pope John Paul II stated that the Second Vatican Council confirmed that: “unless one looks to the Mother of God, it is impossible to understand the mystery of the Church.” In 2002 in the Apostolic letter Rosarium Virginis Mariae he emphasized the importance of the rosary as a key devotion for all Catholics and added the Luminous Mysteries to the rosary.

Pope Benedict XVI continued the program of redirection of the Catholic Church towards a Marian focus and stated: “Let us carry on and imitate Mary, a deeply Eucharistic soul, and our lives will become a Magnificat”. In 2008 Pope Benedict XVI introduced a Marian prayer he had composed, which referring to Mary being the Mother of all Christians stated: “you became, in a new way, the Mother of all those who receive your Son Jesus in faith and choose to follow in his footsteps…”

Quite a scatological mind of an individual it will take to disdain the faith and exemplary character of Mary, the mother of Jesus; but when one peruses the Pauline hall of faith (Hebrews chapter eleven), Mary is not accorded a mentioning, neither as the Catholicism engendered ‘mother of God.’ The Holy Spirit did not even direct Paul to do an insertion of her name somewhere in-between verses 39 & 40 to produce a couching like: “God having provided some better thing for us, through the divine matrix of Madonna of the blessed perpetuity of virginity, that they without us should not be made perfect.”  Mary, to Catholicism, would have been the co-Perfecter of the faith of Christians if Hebrews eleven has an inclusion of her name.

Guess what the halo behind Mary means? Semiramis, the moon goddess, of course!

Madonna, a Catholicism epithet of Mary, the mother of Jesus, is defined as ‘my Lady.’ Lord, as the masculinity of lady, makes Madonna something else. In the spiritual ritualism of religiosity the lordship of any personage is deistic. The title of Madonna, ergo, is a Papal acquiescence of Mary’s sacerdotal worship. Lacking Scriptural knowledge, it is quite obvious why Catholicism will embark on a vitiation of Exodus 20:3 to bring the knees of Catholic faithful members bowed before the statue of Mary.                                                                                                                                                    How could the supposed ‘mother of God’ betray such imperfection seen in Luke 2:41-50? “And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business” [Luke 2:49]? The humanity of the twelve-year old Jesus did not only debunk Catholic’s counterfactual, “Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God: pray for us sinners now and in the hour of death;” He questioned His mother’s spiritual bankruptcy.                                                                                                                                                                     The papal Gregory the Great authorised the teaching of first two parts of Marian prayer in 1198, taken from Luke 1:28, 42. Pope Pius V added the third part in 1568. The true words of Luke 1:28 are “Hail, thou that art highly favoured,” which are translated in the Romish Vulgate as, “Ave gratia plena” (“Hail Mary full of grace”), the catechism means that, Mary is full of gifts of grace and on account of this she exists between God and mankind as the mediator to dispense gifts. Mariolatry! The only One who of Scripture is termed ‘full of grace’ is Jesus in John 1:14, And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” This is the only place, in Scripture, ‘full of grace’ appears, making it a hapax legomenon.

   Infant baptism? Romans 10:9-10?

On the day of the naming of a new baby, the Roman Catholic Church priest washes the baby’s head which, to Catholic faithful, represents the Christian baptism. Whether it is ‘baptize, baptized, baptizing,’ the Greek word of which is baptizo (bap-tid’-zo): ‘1. to immerse, submerge 2. to make whelmed or soaked (i.e. fully wet)’ or ‘baptism,’ baptisma (bap’-tis-mah): ‘immersion (technically or figuratively),’ it is definitely of a total immersion in water by definition. One only goes for baptism after having been born again (Mark 16:15 &16). The Pope changed the baptismal doctrine to suit Catholicism. A baby, according to the soteriological formula of Romans 10:9, 10, cannot go through the rituals of this spiritual rejuvenation. As babes, Christ did die for them. I am wondering why a priest of Almighty Jehovah will continue to be christening Christian babies Cynthia or Diana, knowing fully well that it is paganistic through and through, being one of the sobriquets of Semiramis.

CATHOLICISM AND MARY (III)

Millions of faithful Catholic Church’s object of adoration. This is it! (Exodus 20:4 & 5).

 (…continued from part two…)

III.           She was not spiritually attached to the Lord of glory. Weak, spiritually, she was. The pointer to her weakness is found in John 19:26 & 27, When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! 27) Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home. None heard Mary’s voice again. The maternal umbilical cord had been discarded. It is not in congruity with divine protocol. What did Mary, whose parturient matrix engendered the biological incarnation of the Lord’s earthly sojourn, say even on the day of the epical Day of Pentecost? Nothing! The Church is never about the femininity of her persona. The word ‘mother,’ in Luke and John is meter (may’-tare) ‘a “mother” {literally or figuratively, immediate or remote};’ and ‘brethren’ is adelphos.

One of the scriptural bizarreness of Catholicism is the cultic mother-and-child established indoctrination. Quite a paganistic occultism. This is a Nimrodic (or Nimro-semiramic) importation of paganism into the Church of Jesus. Nowhere in Scripture is it (mother-and-child) found. This is an apodeictic representation of Nimrodic Baal worship of his wife, Semiramis, and Tammuz their son, whose deified stance concludes the apish trinitarian concept of Baalism. Satanism conspiracy took it from Babel to Egypt, the next global world power. There, in Egypt, the mother and child assumed the sobriquet of Isis and Horus. Is it not over two thousand years ago? How could the baby Jesus still remain a baby? Catholicism should tell me, in fact, us, when that baby of Madonna will be weaned!                                                                                                                                                   In Egypt, Semiramis became known as “Isis”, “The Queen of Heaven.” Nimrod became known as “Osiris”, the husband/son, and frequently called “Horus” (the sun god). In Phoenicia, Semiramis and Nimrod were worshipped as or known as Ashterath and Tammuz or EL, BACCHUS, ASTARTE; in Greece, Aphrodite and Eros or ZEUS, DIONYSUS, APHRODITE; in Rome, Venus and Cupid or JUPITER, ATTIS, CYBELE, DIANA, and in China, Mother Shing Moo and her child.

Indulgence of talismanic proclivity of Catholicism!

Here is a chart to show how Nimrod, Tammuz and Semiramis has been handed down.

Unholy syncretism

 Unholy syncretism

With these overwhelming facts that connects the Mary of Catholicism with Semiramis, the Papacy of the Romish church continues, without any prick of conscience, to extol the unscriptural deistic virtues of the biblical Mary. This tells me something. There is no iota of doubt in my mind that the Romish Catholicism knows what she is doing. They are deliberately serving the Nimrosemiramic deities! Period!                                                                                                                                                            The Book of Jeremiah 7:18 reads: “The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.” Here is JFB’s Commentary on Jeremiah 7:18 children . . . fathers . . . womenNot merely isolated individuals practised idolatry; young and old, men and women, and whole families, contributed their joint efforts to promote it. Oh, that there were the same zeal for the worship of God as there is for error (Jer 44:17; Jer 44:19; Jer 19:13 (refs3)).

cakes . . . queen of heavenCakes were made of honey, fine flour, c., in a round flat shape to resemble the disc of the moon, to which they were offered. Others read as Margin, “the frame of heaven,” that is, the planets generally so the Septuagint here; but elsewhere the Septuagint translates, “queen of heaven.” The Phoelignicians called the moon Ashtoreth or Astarte: the wife of Baal or Moloch, the king of heaven. The male and female pair of deities symbolized the generative powers of nature; hence arose the introduction of prostitution in the worship. The Babylonians worshipped Ashtoreth as Mylitta, that is, generative. Our Monday, or Moon-day, indicates the former prevalence of moon worship (see on Isa 65:11).

CATHOLICISM AND MARY (I)

I.             Roman Catholic doctrine does catechize the apotheosis of the wife of Joseph, Mary, who received the unprecedented favour of being the vessel of the Incarnation. In its catechesis the Catholic Church feeds its adherents with the dogmatic Christotokos. It is the Greek title of Mary, the mother of Jesus, used historically by non-Ephesians followers of the Church of the East. Its literal English translations include ‘Christ-bearer’ and ‘the one who gives birth to Christ.’ Theotokos (θɪˈɒtəkɒs) is another, it means ‘Mother of God’ (used in the Eastern Orthodox Church as a title of the Virgin Mary). They believe so unscripturally and firmly that “the love poured into the Theotokos to enable her to love so fully in her turn.”                                                                                                                                                                    Could Mary have given birth to Christ, God the Son? One can only beget a one coming into the existence of creationism for the first time. Of truth is the fact that there is nothing too hard for the LORD to do. But it is also a crystal pellucidity that it will amount to spiritual incongruity for a creature to beget the Author of creationism. The simple fact is that the begotten is actually coming into existence for the first time. If Mary did beget the Ancient of days then she was nothing less than a Goddess (with capital ‘G’): for Jehovah’s deity is of the true living God. Should Mary be a Goddess the Apostolic ink would have had it couched in God’s protocol. Christ’s eternal being would have ceased. He would have to be brought under a new beginning of existence.

The given Son of Isaiah 9:6 was essentially the Divinity

Isaiah 9:6 prophesied “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” Inside Mary’s matrix was a Personage, wielding a dual existence of God and a man. The parturitive ‘child’ is Jesus. The ‘Son’ is the incarnation of Him ‘who was, is, and is to come.’ The Eternal One. The man, Jesus, was born. But the Eternal Son could only be given. Amen! The Incarnation is a compound of God and man. A compound unknown to science. It was an unprecedented –one hundred percent of God, and one hundred percent man– historical event. This is the hypostatic union!                                                                                                                                                                Mary gave birth to the man, Jesus, the humanity of the Incarnate Jehovah, all because a man of Adamic nature is legally required to champion the spiritual regeneration of the sinful nature of mankind (for all have sinned and have come short…– Romans 3:23). Mary gave birth to the one part (not a fraction) of the dualism that did hunger, slumber, thirst and experienced physical fallibility. She did not, could not, birth the One who is the Resurrection, Way-Truth-Life, I Am, Christ, Giver of eternal life, One who was, is, and is to come; the Almighty. Amen!

Matthew 1:24 & 25 “Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: 25) And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.” ‘Till’ is, in the Greek, heos (heh’-oce) ‘a conjunction, preposition and adverb of continuance, until (of time and place).’ If the word of God clearly says, “knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son:” then the period of Joseph’s continuance of not knowing (not having sex with) his newly, legally, married wife, Mary, carnally was definitely up until after the birth and weaning of her firstborn, Jesus. So where does Catholicism pick the doctrine of Mary’s perpetual virginity? It even goes as far as teaching of her own immaculate birth by her own parents! Phew!

Madonna & son

I have perused the scriptures countless times and I am yet to find one rhema that teaches this immaculate birth of Mary. Mary’s biological father is here, in Luke 3:23,“And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli,” for this Heli is Mary’s father, Joseph’s father-in-law. “As the Hebrews never permitted women to enter into their genealogical tables, whenever a family happened to end with a daughter, instead of naming her in the genealogy, they inserted her husband, as the son of him who was, in reality, but his father-in-law” (from Adam Clarke’s Commentary).“The family of the mother is not called a family” (explained John Gill’s Commentary).

Joseph’s genealogy is documented in Matthew 1:16,  “And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.” Anyone who teaches the immaculate birth of Mary must teach the same, not only of hers, (but that) of Joseph’s, and, in fact, that of Heli and Jacob, their fathers-in-law and even the mothers-in-law. Mary and Joseph both came from Davidic royal line. That gives Jesus a royal genealogy. The King. David was also a priest. Through the matrilineal consanguinity Mary -a Judahite- had with Elizabeth -a Levite-, probably by marriage, we see Jesus, the Branch, as a priest. Our High Priest.

The Birth Of Jesus

The essentiality of the birth of Jesus is couched so amazingly in the book of Luke 1:26, “And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth:” The Lord God most certainly knows how to do things in style. The ordinal number 6, reminiscent of the 6th day of Adam’s creation, is the number of man. The sixth, ergo, is so apropos for God’s visitant to show up before mankind.

He cometh from Bozrah, with dyed garments!

Gabriel is of Hebrew gabrı̂y’êl (gab-ree-ale’) origin which comes from (geber (gheh’-ber) man, strong man, warrior (emphasizing strength or ability to fight)) and (‘êl (ale) God -as a mighty One). Put together it means “warrior of God” or “man of God.” This archangel is the angel God used to send messages of great importance to man. He was sent to Daniel, to Zacharias, and that time around to Mary. It was important that a ‘man of God’ must be the one to be sent to a needy mankind under the unbearable yoke of sinfulness. That person must also be a warrior for: God, the Man of war, was about to redeem the lost world to Himself. Amen? Amen!

Galilee, that is Galilaia (gal-il-ah’-yah), means “Circuit” (that is, the heathen circle). Satanic heathenism had ruled the wickedness of the vicious circle of our demonised earth. The putrescent stench of the fallen state of man had gone even to the nostrils of Him, on the throne of the third heaven. In Galilee, no wonder, should the divine rendezvous be. Nazareth or Nazaret (nad-zar-eth’) means “the guarded one.” “In this crooked world of Satanism,” pointed Nazareth, saying, “there are some guarded souls to be redeemed of the Holy One of Israel.” Why redeem them? Simple! “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,” so revealed John 3:16.

…To take away the sins of this world.

The next verse reads: To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary (Luke 1:27). The word virgin is parthenos (par-then’-os) meaning: ‘a woman who has never had sexual intercourse with a man; a marriageable maiden; by implication an unmarried daughter.’ Do remember that God had always instructed them never to offer a blemished element for sacrifice. The womb that must host the Holy One of Israel must of necessity be of an untampered virgin. She must be marriageable. Why? It is because the Saving Lamb will be in a desideration for a Church to be espoused to Him. The first man was the husband of a virgin. How so appropriate!

Joseph is the Greek Iōsēph (ee-o-safe’) which comes from the Hebrew yôsêph (yo-safe’) meaning: ‘let Him add i.e. Jehovah has added.’ The LORD God remembered Rachel and giving her a son, she named her first born Joseph. Rachel is râchêl (raw-kale’) in Hebrew. ‘It comes from a root: to journey; a ewe (the females being the predominant element of a flock) (as a good traveller).’ It is from this ‘ewe’ connection God finds a relevance to add Himself to mankind. God had come to Adam for a redemptive journey into eternal bliss. This is why He had to orchestrate the espousal of Mary to Joseph.

 David did conquer Goliath!

From its Hebrew origin, David is dâvid or dâvı̂yd (daw-veed’) meaning: ‘beloved or loving.’ The Greek calls it Dabid (dab-eed’). The Incarnation is the product of God’s unfeigned love for the fallen man. So it must involve David. If Jesus is the prophesied King of kings then it is germane that His human ancestors should come from a majestic lineage. Jesus will be the conqueror. His lineage must be of a military conquering David. As David replaced the first king who failed to please God, so must Jesus replace the first Adam whose spiritual inadequacy plunged us all into sin. Jesus is truly about God’s expression of an eternal love. Amen!

Mary. Maria or Mariam (mar-ee’-ah) in Greek originates from the Hebrew miryâm (meer-yawm’) meaning: ‘rebellion or bitterness.’ Mary understood how spiritually jaundiced she was, hence, her effusion of Luke 1:47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. The Lord of Israel had come, on account of the birth of Jesus, to remove all her carnal sinfulness. In Eden He (the LORD God) brought the sinless woman to Adam for marriage. Here, in His bid to redeem fallen creatures, He strikes a redemptive bargain with a just Joseph to take the hand of Mary to enable Him to break the satanic rebellious hold on man and to destroy the bitterness that had characterised the life of man’s rebellion to the word of God.

At the birth of Jesus God had begun the earthly campaign of the erasure of man’s sinful nature. It is time to say, “Thank You JESUS!” in a special way. In my Father’s house,” Jesus made a declaration none dares to replicate, are many mansions: the LORD of glory continued, if it were not so, I would have told you. And, I go to prepare a place for you;” He promised in conclusion in John 14:2. This promise is only for those who are born again.

Merry Christmas!!!

To get born again say this prayer, believing it with all your heart. Say:

Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe in my heart that Jesus died for my sins and You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord, and I receive Him as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory, Amen.

I praise the Lord for your life for saying this prayer.

Once again, I wish you Merry Christmas!!!

Yes! On account of the birth of Jesus! Amen!

IT WAS AN UNPRECEDENTED PHENOMENON –THE BIRTH OF JESUS!

NO COMPROMISE (one)

Did Daniel die in the ruinous den of ferocious lions? No! So, don’t compromise.

He is an exceptionally great sportsperson. This guy who has won so many laurels has, for so many occasions, been invited to join the secret cults of masonry but had for that many times declined. His sole reason being, “I’m already in the secret cult of JESUS.” As a Christian he believes he is 110,000% wholly Jesus’, therefore, there, ostensibly, is no room left to join another cult.

Anytime he is poised to score a good point an invisible dart will just fly towards his direction to maim him. An angel sends the dart off his direction, into the belly of the ground. There were times when the satanic weapons were sent back to the evil culprits, maiming or sniffing out their lives outright. Tongues begin to wag à la press publications. Little did they know that Psalm 91:5, “Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;” was at work from the Lord whom this great footballer confesses as his Lord and Saviour.

For I know that my redeemer liveth,” he said, in Job 19:25

He was Abrahamic resolute, walking the walk side by side his Jehovah. He would not trade-off his covenantal position with Jehovah for anything. In the face of aggravating vicissitudinary turns of life he becomes the philosophical Job in equanimity. Of course she is a Mary who, in expectation of her Lord’s demand, kept herself from youthful concupiscent inclination, thereby, making her matrix available for the LORD’s use.

He asked himself what Joseph’s stance would be if he were an athlete and found out, from the scriptures, that he would certainly have stuck to his uncompromising integrity. Hear an uncompromising Joseph in Genesis 39:9, “There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” (Emphasis mine).

Yes, David walked a route meant for a dastard when he ordered the assassination of Uriah, the husband of Bathsheba, whom he was committing adultery with, but this same David always knew how to come back to the Father and he never forsook the worship of Jehovah all the days of his historic life; and in this wise he trod the path of David.

ALIANZA CON ABRAHAM

Abraham, the father of faith.

“And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect” [Gen 17:1]. The verb ‘walk,’ is hâlak (haw-lak’): ‘to walk (in a great variety of applications, literally and figuratively), lifestyle.’ Abraham chose a lifestyle that put a smile on the divine countenance of Jehovah. ‘Perfect’ is tâmı̂ym (taw-meem’): ‘entire (literally, figuratively or morally); also (as noun) integrity, truth.’ Abraham’s integrity remained in one piece; he died at an eld of one hundred and seventy-five years, having run an enviable race.

The book of Job 2:9-10 reads, 9) “Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die. 10) But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips. The word ‘integrity,’ tûmmâh (toom-maw’) means, ‘innocence.’

Job’s ‘no compromise’ stand paid off. Amen.

Job’s innocence and obdurate fidelity earned him one of the biggest earthly biblical rewards. “And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before” [Job 42:10]. This, no doubt, made him the richest man on earth! Your story can end so beautifully like Job’s: “Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold. 12) So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses. 13) He had also seven sons and three daughters. 14) And he called the name of the first, Jemima; and the name of the second, Kezia; and the name of the third, Kerenhappuch. 15) And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren. 16) After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons’ sons, even four generations” [Job 42:10-16].

My advice is, “Don’t compromise.”

It is a well-known fact that Job was, personally, guiltless of the predicament he found himself. He faced his trials with a certain equanimity. Tribulations are good for us. They teach us how to wear the fitting robe of patience. It is getting worse these days after six thousand years of Adam’s unfortunate act that has plunged man into this quaggy state of depravity. Knowing fully well that God has imbued every individual with the spirit of equanimity, it is quite expedient for him to exploit this virtue to his own advantage when he gets ambushed in a trial. It will always rear up its head: trial.

“How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?”

The no-compromise person remembers Joshua and Deborah. Joshua’s strength is predicated on, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success” [Joshua 1:8].
