MUHAMMAD’S QUR’AN DENIES THE CRUCIFIXION OF JESUS (1)

1)            The microcosm of the entire thirty-one thousand, one hundred and two verses of the Bible is John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” This verse, which sums up God’s mind and intent for mankind, touches on His love, His gift of the only begotten Son, eternal damnation and the soteriology. The death of the Son is substitutionary: the life of sinless Second Member of the Godhead for the lost Adamic souls. Sin is a curse as we understand Ezekiel 18:4 “Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.” And Wisdom, the personification of the Christ, makes it clear in Proverbs 8:36 “But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.” Sin, for this scriptural reason, is truly a reproach. Not wanting to destroy sinful man, God designed redemption way out in John 3:16. When Prophet Muhammad began his Islamic campaign, one of the antagonistic teaching of the Islamic protocolary Qur’an against Christianity was an oppugnation of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

An-Nisa’ 4:157 And [for] their saying, “Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah.” And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain.

This is the shortened commentary: And because of their saying, “We killed Al-Masih, `Isa, son of Maryam, the Messenger of Allah,” meaning, we killed the person who claimed to be the Messenger of Allah. The Jews only uttered these words in jest and mockery, just as the polytheists said, (O you to whom the Dhikr (the Qur’an) has been sent down! Verily, you are a mad man!). (15:6). When Allah sent `Isa with proofs and guidance, the Jews, may Allah’s curses, anger, torment and punishment be upon them, envied him because of his Prophethood and obvious miracles; curing the blind and leprous and bringing the dead back to life, by Allah’s leave. He also used to make the shape of a bird from clay and blow in it, and it became a bird by Allah’s leave and flew.

`Isa performed other miracles that Allah honored him with, yet the Jews defied and bellied him and tried their best to harm him. Allah’s Prophet `Isa could not live in any one city for long and he had to travel often with his mother, peace be upon them. Even so, the Jews were not satisfied, and they went to the king of Damascus at that time, a Greek polytheist who worshipped the stars. They told him that there was a man in Bayt Al-Maqdis misguiding and dividing the people in Jerusalem….When the king’s deputy in Jerusalem received these orders, he went with some Jews to the house that `Isa was residing in, and he was then with twelve, thirteen or seventeen of his companions. That day was a Friday, in the evening. …They surrounded `Isa in the house, and when he felt that they would soon enter the house or that he would sooner or later have to leave it, he said to his companions, “Who volunteers to be made to look like me, for which he will be my companion in Paradise?”…

A young man volunteered, but `Isa thought that he was too young. He asked the question a second and third time, each time the young man volunteering, prompting `Isa to say, “Well then, you will be that man.”…..Allah made the young man look exactly like `Isa, while a hole opened in the roof of the house, and `Isa was made to sleep and ascended to heaven while asleep.

I have always wondered why Muhammad should call Jesus by the sobriquet of Isa. According to G.J.O. Moshay, the author of the explosive book, “Who Is This Allah?” Isa does not in any way agree etymologically, and even with Arabic way of pronunciation. Moshay believes that, not knowing what to make with Hebraic Yehoshua, Muhammad just slapped the character of the biblical Yehoshua with the sobriquet ‘Isa!’ Did Allah suggest the Arabic Isa for Jesus or Yehoshua? Who, I ask, is this Allah, the purported God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob of Israel? Jehovah of the Bible gave the name of the Saviour as Yehoshua. Muslim scholars refer to an ‘attendant’ of Moses to whom they give the Arabic name, Yusha bin Nun (Joshua the son of Nun). Muhammadan ignorance does not know that Joshua and Jesus are the one and the same Hebraic Yehoshua or Yeshua. Why would Islam not apply the sobriquet ‘Isa to Joshua as well? Ignorance: on whose part, Allah or Muhammad, or both? Selah!

JOHN 3 VERSE 16 AND ISLAM (One)

`

1)            Try taking away John 3:16 from the Bible, and it will not minify the veridicality of the good Book of Jesus Christ or imperil its protocolary legality; neither will it bring about a falling apart or falling short of theological strength of God’s protocol. The only thing that will stand amiss is the expungement of the verse, the only verse that serves as the microcosm of the entire Bible of 31,102 verses of King James Version. The closest of global religious practices to Christianity is Islam which, tracing its faith to Father Abraham, lifts biblical teachings and the characters of prophetic offices from the Bible into the Qur’an. Muhammadan Qur’an, unfortunately, does not share one of the most important verse of the Bible: John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” What does this fact say of Islamism if the salvation of the Bible means nothing to Prophet Muhammad? In John 3:16 we have the thematic protrusions of: God, Son of God, giving, love, humanity and eternal life. Islam does not believe in the Fatherhood of God; it hates the Scriptural idea of Divine Sonship and eternality of life that the Son acquired for sinful humanity via the sanguineous death of the cross, bringing to fallen Adam the new and the living way.

John chapter three verse sixteen is the entire Bible compacted in one single verse. God’s intent and will bespeak its theological posture. God’s responsible stance is seen in His divine care for His creation. His beneficence is the gift of eternal life through the Author of creationism. God’s grand gift to the fallen Adamic creature is the soteriology. Most definitely, all that the LORD God is trying to communicate to mankind is none other than Jesus Christ. One classic Qur’anic chapter of Christ’s divine Sonship vitiation is the 112th, titled Al-Ikhlas of which all the verses of 1-4 reads: “Say, “He is Allah, [who is] One, 2) Allah, the Eternal Refuge. 3) He neither begets nor is born, 4) Nor is there to Him any equivalent.” For this Muhammadan recitation, nothing changes the minds of true Moslems. However, the Bible is the finality of God’s dealings with humanity.

For God so loved is seen in: Luke 2:14; Romans 5:8; 2Corinthians 5:19-21; Titus 3:3-7; 1John 4:8-10 and 1John 4:19. “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men” (Luke 2:14). ‘Peace’ is eirene (ei-ree’-nee) ‘1. peace. 2. (by implication) prosperity.’ The love of God is most evident with the birth of Jesus Christ. Can anyone bring more pronounced peace other than that of the birth of Jesus; is He not the Prince of peace of Isaiah 9:6? The words ‘good will’ is eudokia (ev-d̮o-kiy’-a) ‘1. satisfaction. 2. (subjectively) delight. 3. (objectively) kindness, wish, purpose.’ God showered the yearning heart of mankind for divine intervention with goodwill. The word ‘man’, anthropos (an’-thrō-pos) means: ‘1. (literally) (a man-faced being, a man who has visibly come of age). 2. (concretely, in Hebrew) a clay being (a classification of beings made in the image of God, who made them male and female). 3. (generically, in English) a human being.’ God showered His divine love of eternality on creatures of Adam. What else can one expect from the LORD God who has a simple definition of “LOVE”?

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). The English ‘commendeth’ is the Greek sunistao (sïn-iy-staō’) ‘1. to set together. 2. (by implication) to introduce (favorably). 3. (figuratively) to exhibit. 4. (intransitively) to stand near. 5. (figuratively) to constitute.’ Let us look at ‘love’, agapē (a-ğa’-pee) ‘1. love (i.e. affection or benevolence). 2. (specially, plural) love feasts.’ We had not ceased in our wanton sinfulness when God decided to adorn us with His agape. The word ‘yet’, eti (e’-tiy), is: ‘still (of time or degree)’. Christ entered into death situation for us, to conquer the adverse effect of the original sin on our behalf. Agapē is truly an act of sheer commitment, backed by divine constitutionality, no one can circumduct the terms of this redemptive love; nowhere in Scripture can one read of the abrogation of the Golgotha substitutionary death, therefore, no other religious book or leader can change this Testamentary fact. Was it not while we were yet sinners that God commendeth His soteriological love? We did not do anything to earn this love, ergo, there is absolutely nothing we can do maintain this love; the LORD God Himself wrote the terms of its constitutional legality; and what is more? He is eternally committed to this agape.

“To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 20) Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. 21) For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him” (2Corinthians 5:19-21). God was right inside, by and through Jesus ‘reconciling’, which is the Greek katallasso (ka-tal-las’-sō): ‘1. to change mutually. 2. (figuratively) to reconcile.’ The reconciling to Himself is the ‘world’ which is kosmos (koz’-mos): ‘1. orderly arrangement, i.e. decoration. 2. (by implication) the world including its inhabitants; {literally or figuratively (morally), by implication “world” in a wide or narrow sense}’. Only the sinless God can author the soteriology. Sinless Christ Jesus must be of the Divinity to carry out the katallasso. How does Muhammadan faith offer salvation?

Christianity Is The Only Way To Salvation (two)

(…continues from part 1…)

2)            What does it say in John 3:3? “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” What is this doubly uttered ‘verily’? It is amēn (am-ane’) in the Greek, meaning: ‘(properly) firm, that is, (figuratively) trustworthy; adverbially surely (often as interjection so be it)’. Know of certainty that ‘born again’ come from the Greek gennaō (ghen-nah’-o) anōthen (an’-o-then). Gennaō is procreation – spiritually. And what is anōthen? It is ‘from above; by analogy from the first; by implication anew.’ The adverbial ‘Verily’ means ‘truly’. Who is the Truth? Jesus. Who is the Amen? Is it not the same Jesus of today, yesterday and forever? The veridicality of John 3:3 begins with the double Amen! If it is firmly established that the death, resurrection, ascension and His session of Jesus Christ is for the rebirth of the lost souls who assemble in Church to worship God the true Saviour, then it suffices to agree that Christianity is the only way to eternal salvation.

Why ‘born again’? “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). The Adamic original sin did engender the facticity of Psalm 51:5 “Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.” The natural birth of humanity is fraught with wickedness. The day I came to the understanding of Psalm 51:5, with shock I realized that without making the sound of a syllable, I already have my dwelling in sinfulness, even from my innocent period of foetal existence! Nicodemus, to whom Jesus made this salvific verse known, was a religious leader of the Pharisee sect of Judaism. The way to salvation of the soul cannot be traced to any religious affiliation.

Jesus hosts Nicodemus in John chapter 3

Being a born again Christian is the path that heads straight to the new and the living way established by Jesus Christ when He said, “For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins” (Matthew 26:28). Nicodemus went to meet with the very Foundation and the Head of the Church, the pillar and the ground of truth, where Christianity is practised. The new birth is actually midwifed by the Holy Spirit, God from above. ‘Except’ and ‘cannot’ are two strong negating terms showing the impossibility of salvation without going through Christianity founded by Jesus.

Encapsulating the entire Bible is John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Salvation to all mankind through Jesus, whose atoning blood erases the sin that herds unbelievers into hell, is what John 3 verse 16 makes known to all. Where is this taught? The Christian Church. The eighteenth verse reads, “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” You either come to Jesus and be saved, or go elsewhere which seems right in the sin contaminated perception of humanity and perish forever. Christianity awaits all and sundry; “Come unto me all that labour and are heavy laden,” Jesus calls out, and concludes with the most reassuring, “and I will give you rest.”

How does one get born again, you may ask? Romans 10:8-10 is the text for the salvific prayer formula: 8) “But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Who carry out the evangelism of the soteriology? Christians. The word ‘confess’ of the ninth verse is homologeō (hom-ol-og-eh’-o): ‘to say the same thing as another, i.e. to agree with, assent.’ What are you expected to confess? The Lordship of Jesus Christ over your life; that Jesus Christ is the Son of God; believing that Jesus died for your sin; believing that Jesus rose from the dead; and from your heart, believe these things as you say them. Say the prayer truthfully and the Holy Spirit enters your heart to vacate it no more. You have become God’s child and that is forever. Amen!

Getting born again is a conscious effort on the part of an individual. Get born again. Say this sinner’s prayer.

“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”

Will You Lose The Genuineness Of Your Salvation? (1)

1]            It happened to be a very hot scriptural debate on the eternal security of soteriology that I saw from various video clips with an involvement of men of God, each of whom controls very large church going people. Warning Christians on the danger of believing in the didactic “once saved always saved,” the revered Bishop David Oyedepo (founder of Living Faith Church), in buttressing the attachment of aberrational quiddity regarding the teaching on “security of salvation”, quoted 1Corinthians 10:12, “Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.”

Is Bishop David Oyedepo the only one spreading this teaching, does he not have huge support from more revered and greater Christian followership in the persons of Pastors E.A. Adeboye and W.F. Kumuyi, who respectively are, the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, and the General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church? Do I not feel uncomfortable seeing an unrestrained aberration of a down the throat forced Christian indoctrination? Disappointedly, I do! It does not frustrate me; it just appalls me to hear great men of God do unscriptural indoctrination. How Bishop Oyedepo et alia manage unscriptural didacticism, is quite appalling. When you pull out a Scripture, not giving any due respect to scriptural contextualism, you spread misinformation of God’s Word; the Word is a Personage. Bishop Oyedepo merely pulled out 1Corinthians 10:12 without true contextual consideration.

So, let us do a treading on the destiny (which, of sooth, is the distance from point A to point B, my post THE DESTINATION OF YOUR DESTINY (I) https://hoojewale.wordpress.com/2016/10/29/the-destination-of-your-destiny-i … explains ‘destiny’ better) of 1Corinthians 10:12 with the employment of contextual criticism based on Pauline couch. Why would Paul begin this verse with hōste (hoce’-teh), the Greek word for ‘wherefore’, defined as: ‘so that, insomuch that, then, therefore.’ The conjunct disposition of ‘wherefore’ or ‘therefore’, is to effect the realization, on the part of the Christian, not being as over confident as the Jews, mentioned in verses one to five. As the Jews served various punishments so are the Christ folowers liable to sinfulness leading to partial or final debilitating hardships for allowing themselves to fall into sin. That is the admonition.

‘Let’, from this verse, is blepo (ɓle’-pō): ‘to look at or upon, of the bodily eye; beware.’ The word ‘thinketh’ is dokeō (dok-eh’-o): ‘to be of opinion, think, suppose, to seem, to be accounted, reputed; it seems to me, I think, judge: thus in question, it seems good to, pleased me, I determined.’ Traditionally, the dokeō minded person has an opinion that ‘serpents bear their young ones’ like mammals do. The absolute opinions of things roam through their baseless imaginations. Living in fool’s paradise, the one with dokeō mindset believes he is what his imagination tells him. Histēmi (his’-tay-mee) is the Greek for ‘standeth’ meaning: ‘To cause or make to stand; to place; put; set; establish.’ The phrasal ‘take heed’ is the same Greek blepō. Piptō (pip’-to): ‘To descend from a higher place to a lower; To fall (either from or upon); To be thrust down. Metaphorically to fall under judgment, come under condemnation.’

The “called” are sanctified and preserved by God the Father, in Jesus Christ

Is it not glaring enough that anyone who calls himself a Christian and continues to swim in the evil of sinful lust; of rejoicing in the festivity of idolatry; engaging in amatorial illicitness in reckless abandon; tempting God or, more specifically, Christ by speaking words of faithlessness to Him; and the fifth recorded sin of Israel, ‘to murmur’  which in Greek is gogguzō (gong-good’-zo): ‘to mutter, grumble, say anything against in a low tone; of the cooing of doves; of those who confer secretly together; of those who discontentedly complain;’ is probably not a genuine child of the Most High? When you call yourself a born again Christian and find yourself in continual perpetration of these five acts of sinning, it is glaring that you are not truly born again. There is nothing like meeting God half way when it comes to salvation of the soul. You are either truly born again or never ever been born again. Period!

So, what Scriptural explanations debunk preachers of “you can lose your salvation”? The very few words of the microcosm of the entire Bible, John 3:16, make indubitable provision for the answer, which reads, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” The Greek for ‘everlasting’ is aiōnios (ahee-o’-nee-os): ‘without beginning and end; that which always has been and always will be; without beginning, without end; never to cease.’ And ‘life’, zōē (dzo-ay’): is specifically ‘God’s kind of unending life.’ The question now is that did God ever know that the saved Adamic entity would commit sin after the spiritual regeneration? If His Omniscience knew this fact, why should He bestow a life unending unto the born again knowing fully well that it stood to be lost immediately the individual commits one sin? There is no way God would give an eternal life that stood to be lost. Prove to me that what God, through grace, gave was never eternality of God’s life and I will agree with Oyedepo that “once saved is not always saved.”

You can be part of the winning Christianity of Jesus Christ. Get born again by saying this sinners’ prayer:

“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”

ADAMIC ELEVATION [9]

“Notwithstanding the king’s word prevailed against Joab…” (2Samuel 24:4)

(…continues from part 8…)

9)            Dâvid or Dâvı̂yd (daw-veed’) is the Hebrew for ‘David’ meaning: ‘beloved or loving’. Divine rapprochement with David makes Adam an object of His dear love. When your heart directs enamouredness towards an individual, you most definitely want to engage the object of your affection affectionately by making gregarious contacts of verbalism with your object of agapē – Greek word for ‘unconditional love’. A brilliant, beautiful and most apropos definition of agapē by one man of God, is: ‘A love called out of the heart of the lover, on account of the value the lover has placed upon the object of his love’. This is what God did to engender the effusion of the microcosm of the entire Scripture: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). The propitiatory use of the two animals in lieu of the death sentence hanging on sin-soaked Adam the male and the female testifies of the agapē about to be lavished on the elevation of Adamic restoration. Even when David sinned against Jehovah by numbering Israel, David asked for forgiveness; and the love that God had sworn to pamper David with, made Jehovah to forgive His beloved Adamic creature.

The fall of Adam was not the end of Adamic glory.

The Adamic pristine couple was not robed in the animal skins just for the thrill and fun of Christmas clothing purchased for the children. It was a grand connectivity with the soteriology. It was purely sacrificial. The Bible does not disclose how many lambs, goats or rams were slaughtered. But it is quite clear that it was for the Eden couple. The number two, being the Scriptural numerology for witness and of testimony, they stood in prognostication of the True Lamb of God – Adam being of His image. As far as God was concerned, salvation had come to mankind, even in his sinfulness. It is on account of this facticity that one Pauline couch reads, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). And because it is solely the choice of Divinity, one should understand why it also says, Not of works, lest any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:9).

One very good reason that called for the Adamic elevation was the need for God to give Himself the legality to put Lucifer away for good. When you read something like God ‘being needy’ for whatever it is, it is never in the sense of Divine bankruptcy or shortcoming. Jehovah has all He needs or wants from eternality of the past to the futuristic periods of eternity. In all aspects, God wields absolute perfection. Sitting under Scriptural exegetical didacticism of God’s need for anything simply points to the facticity that pictures the humble stance of Divinity, assuming the status of cognitive operational reality known of Adamic level.

The Holy Spirit: seated in the holy of holies

One ministering colleague of mine once said that some Christians believe that among the Trinity, the Holy Spirit is the humblest, in that He is so humble that He does so many good things but does not even reveal Himself. But that allusion does not hold scriptural water at all. My exasperation is, “The Holy Spirit, the humblest?” There is no such superlative comparativeness among the Members of the Godhead. The thought of it alone is tantamount to theological incongruity, alien to the protocolary stance of Scripture. The Three Members are eternally equal in essence. God, therefore, exhibits humility as He does things like this to enable the rational man to understand divine affability.

The LORD God is God of legality. For the legal terms to be met He must bring Lucifer to the Divine court of justice and the facts of satanic culpability. God would not allow Lucifer to have a fourth chance: four, which is creation in Scriptural numerology, will give him a divine status – which he possesses not – Lucifer can only be made to have three opportunities. In heaven, he had an opportunity to spread the goodness of the Creator. He did not; he filled the angelic reasoning with calumnious putsch against the rainbow administration of celestial Majesty. Kicked out of heaven, there were beings on earth before the eventual creation of Adamic intelligent beings. The subtlety of Satanism and the attendant tergiversation swayed the sympathy of the beings of that age, giving their spiritual support in the ominous acceptance of Luciferian rule. The earth was brought under water as an annihilating punishment.

For billions of years, no doubt, the chaotic scene of the earth remained until the re-creationism of Genesis 1:2. The Hebrew word, tôhû (to’-hoo) meaning: ‘formlessness, confusion, unreality, emptiness; to lie waste; a desolation (of surface), that is, desert; figuratively a worthless thing; adverbially in vain;’ is the proof of the cataclysmic catastrophe that marked the situation in which God said, “Let there be light.” The ‘Light’ was actually Himself. Christ had to create Adam as the headship of the earth, and in the likeness and image of Himself, so that satanic incursion and the attendant destructive attempt of God’s Eden viceroy was another putsch against God’s anointed. This third time evil perpetration makes Lucifer an incorrigibly perfect manifestation of God’s enemy.

His death was to elevate the fallen Adam

Why did Jesus decide to die the cross of Calvary? His death was to elevate the fallen Adam, and never to undo the fall of the angelic participation of the empyreal coup d’état, whose confinement still remain in Tartarus. The Golgotha crucifixion was a grand design to web Lucifer. How do I know that he fell for it? 1Corinthians 2:7-8 “But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 8) Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.” Paul went on in the next verse to show for who He had died. “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him” (1Corinthians 2:9). What marks a Christian out is his love and service to the cause of Jesus Christ. John 14:15 “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” Then inJohn 14:21, “He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.” The race of Adam that Satan thought he had successfully brought into sin and waiting to be thrown into annihilation has been graciously glorified. What a God of mercy He is! What a God of mercy Jehovah is! He forgives iniquity, forgives transgressions; preserves mercy for thousands. By this new and living way the elevation of Adam is perfected. Amen!

Spiritual acquittal and discharge takes place only when one is born again. To be born again, say, with all your heart, this simple prayer:

“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”

ISAIAH CHAPTER NINE VERSE SIX (one)

Most enigmatic Personage

(1)            Based on the theological stance of the Most High Creator, as it is known in the Scripture, it is quite apposite to infer that, albeit, certain biblical didacticism tend to the direction of it, none of God’s acts is ever an afterthought. In a clinical precision, He had, from eternity past, combed through time of creationism and into the eternity to come. The minutest event not escaping His Almighty’s scrutiny, He had placed Himself so strategically, to ensure that absolutely nothing eventuates by an unaccountable chance. He must remain the LORD God, the Creator, in eternal absolution. One of the Divine counterterrorism of activism happens to be the vaticinatory verse of Isaiah chapter nine verse six.

The covenant with Israel must produce His humanity

Two precedent chapters of seven and eight are intimations of the preponderant calamities to bedevil Israel. Only God can save the situation. The legality of the covenant between Jehovah and Israel gives Him every legitimacy to step into the terror of Satanism. Blessed be the ineffability stance of the wisdom of the LORD God. He made sure of His Divine control in Eden. An eternal covenant He established with Abraham. Out of the first seven verses of the ninth chapter comes the divine solution to man’s calamitous disposition. “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace” [Isaiah 9:6]. The characterising profundity of the ‘child’ and ‘son’ is the Hebraic interpretations of them.

‘Child’ of this verse is yeled (yeh’-led): ‘something born, that is, a lad or offspring from infancy to young adulthood.’ ‘Son,’ on the other hand, is bên (bane): ‘a son (as a builder of the family name), in the widest sense (of literal and figurative relationship, including grandson, subject, nation, quality or condition.’ This bên comes from bânâh (baw-naw’): ‘to build, rebuild, establish, cause to continue.’ There is a demonstrable limpidity proving an enigmatic duality of this personage. How can he be both an infant and a grown up builder of the home: God’s home, definitely speaking? The Adamic acceptance of the meandering Satanism of the ophidian deception was actually a devilish putsch to wrestle from the hands of Adam, his governmental dominion of the earth.

The LAMB is also the LION!

The infancy of this Personage is in the prophetic utterance of Isaiah 7:14, “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” God’s messenger came all the way from heaven to make the announcement of Luke 1:35 “And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” It did culminate in the historical parturition of, “And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn” (Luke 2:7). This is the humanity of Jesus.

And the WORD was made flesh: the Incarnation!

This is the Son. John 1:14, “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” He must, as a matter of appositeness, receive mentioning in the microcosmic verse of the entire Bible, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” [John 3:16]. Is the whole matter not about salvation? John 3:17, “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”

Only the Righteous Blood!

If it is pertaining to soteriological theme, and we all understand that God alone can save, then this Son is the incarnation of the holy One of Israel, and most absolutely, the LORD God who did form Adam and his woman in the Garden of Eden. He had come to retrieve that which Adam lost. “And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world” [1John 4:14]. If Jesus is the Saviour, with a capital ‘S’ then one of my favourite verses, “All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made” [John 1:3], is the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Amen.

THE PRINCE OF PEACE: JESUS

Get born again. Say this prayer, meaning it:

“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”

TRINITY OF THE GODHEAD (5)

The Scriptures, most evidently, teaches the co-equality of the Trinity.

“That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him” [John 5:23]. The verb, ‘honour or honoureth,’ is timaō (tim-ah’-o): ‘to estimate, fix the value of a belonging; to revere, venerate.’ This commentary on John 5:23 captures it so perfectly: “That all men should honour the Son, c.] If then the Son is to be honoured, EVEN AS the Father is honoured, then the Son must be God, as receiving that worship which belongs to God alone. To worship any creature is idolatry: Christ is to be honoured even as the Father is honoured therefore Christ is not a creature; and, if not a creature, consequently the Creator. See Joh 1:3.”

The celestial assizes

   THE CELESTIAL ASSIZES

“He that honoureth not the Son] God will not receive that man’s adoration who refuses to honour Jesus, even as he honours him. The Jews expected the Messiah as a great and powerful Prince; but they never thought of a person coming in that character enrobed with all the attributes of Godhead. To lead them off from this error, our Lord spoke the words recorded in these verses.” [Adam Clarke’s Commentary].

Revelation 5:8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. The angels and the elders ‘fell down’ in worship of the Lamb. They give to the Lamb, the Lord Jesus, right there in the throne room, what is due to the One (Father) who sits eternally on the throne.

Most Holy Place

   Most Holy Place

In the Most Holy Place of Exodus 26:34 “And thou shalt put the mercy seat upon the ark of the testimony in the most holy place.” This was the physical location of the Holy Spirit, seated in acceptance of all adoration to Jehovah, the Eternal Creator. Co-equality! Here the Spirit received honour due to Elohiym. Amen. All that Peter asked in the Book of Acts 5:3-5 was, “…why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?” and in the fifth verse, “…Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost:…” all because, according to the Apostle in the fourth verse, “thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.” The Holy Spirit is equally Jehovah God. Amen. “But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation” (Mark 3:29). Do we all not know that any sinful act is ultimately an evil commission to the Divinity?

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,” John 3:16 began to teach of the Eternal Father’s soteriological design, and, “that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” is the conclusion. Stepping from eternal glory to save mankind is what we read in John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Of this very One Paul says in Hebrews 10:20, “By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;” and in Colossians 2:9, “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.” ‘Fullness’ is the Greek word, plērōma (play’-ro-mah): ‘repletion or completion, that is, (subjectively) what fills (as contents, supplement, copiousness, multitude), or (objectively) what is filled (as container, performance, period).’ ‘Godhead’ is theotēs (theh-ot’-ace): ‘deity; the state of being God; divinity (abstractly).’

Paul catechized these theological realities through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. In these days of grace, when the Spirit of the truth communes, through the evangelism of the Church, of the salvation through Christ and you deny this kerygma of eternal truth, what you are doing is nothing short of calling the Holy Spirit a liar. Blasphemy! Unpardonable sacrilegious act of eternal consequence! Why? He is the hidden, God Eternal! Period. Was He not hidden behind the katapetasma (second veil) in the most holy place? Is He not dwelling inside our spirits -the millions of Christians- who have received the Divine adoption and through whom He preaches the kerygma to the world? If this Spirit dwells in the hearts of millions across the global sphere does He not display the characteristic ubiquity of the eternal God? Selah.

AND ONE SAT ON THE THRONE (Revelation 4:2)

Isaiah 42:8, “I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images” is an established fact that God does not share honour and worship. Why –have you ever asked yourself–- would attributes of Divinity be shared among the Trinity? What a perfect plan of Divinity is in operation: God, the Father, sits in the celestial assizes as the absolute Judge; God, the Son, is seated as the Eternal Advocate; the Divine Witness is none other than the Holy Spirit!

And these three are one (1John 5:7)

For the perfection of this actuation God gave the solution of John 3:3, which comes into effect when Romans 10:9-10 is invoked in the sinner’s prayer. And for the actuation of this divine rejuvenation God must give the covenant name: Jehovah. I AM THAT I AM was first used to emancipate the suffering Israel.

I DON’T WANT TO MISS HEAVEN! (VII)

 HeavenJohn316

(Continued from part 6)

(7)          The reality on the scriptural ground is that only this same Jesus has the capability of the competence to keep us in this state of Godly righteousness. We have the same life as Jesus for we are, in the strictest sense, in this righteous journey together for it says that: “Christ, who is our life.” Amen.

1John 3:9, “Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.” ‘Is born’ comes twice and this ‘birth’ is not in the aorist. A habitual phenomenon is what it is. God, in this dispensation of grace, is in the business of upholding individual’s spiritual rejuvenation.

the body of christ

Whoever gets born of His divine Being ceases to be labelled a sinner. The same can commit sins though. When or if he does 1John 1:9 takes care of his demeaning act. This means that it is not only when you prayed for the salvation that you are covered. Jesus continues, as the Advocate you never solicited for, to keep your righteousness intact. Amen! When or if you find yourself being spiritually distracted by a certain gravitational pull towards an untoward sinfulness I recommend you go for a cleansing deliverance.

You will, indubitably, lose a crown or crowns for a persistent sinfulness.

The Church (most of its leadership) is not doing well by keeping the scriptural truism from the laity. So many scriptural anomalies got ingested in the unsuspecting laity during the millennia of the hegemony of Catholicism.

i've fought the good fight

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith

Why would Paul write, I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing in 2Timothy 4:7 and verse 8? It is simply because Jesus stated categorically in John 10:27 & 28 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

breaking-free-handcuffs-closeup-person-chains-metal-47707639

The word ‘never’ has three meanings (i) ou me (ou may’) adv. ‘a double negative strengthening the denial, “not at all”’ (ii) eis (eis) prep 1. to or into (indicating the point reached or entered), of place, time 2. (figuratively) to or into a purpose (result, etc.), and (iii) aion (ai-own’) 1. (properly) an age 2. (by extension) perpetuity (also past) 3. (by implication) the world 4. (specially, Jewish) a Messianic period (present or future).’ And with the definition of ‘perish’ called in the Greek: apollumi (ap-ol’-loo-mee) ‘1. to destroy fully 2. (reflexively) to perish, or lose.’

No true born again Christian, according to Jesus’ asseveration of John 10:27-28, will ever head towards hell, unless Jesus is a liar! My five-part post titled, ”WHY GO ARMINIANISTIC SOTERIOLOGY” http://wp.me/p5iz2f-1H  16 Mar 2015  explores in details why no true born again person will ever go to hell, please do read it. The perceived “loss of salvation” is not an apostolic teaching!

john-3-16

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. The soteriological act of this verse is the word ‘believeth’ and that is all that is required to be God’s child forever. Faith. John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. In order not to be condemned, Jesus tells you to believe Him and receive Him as your Lord and Saviour. That is all. He does the rest, to put you at eternal rest. Amen!

Good question!

Get born again by praying this prayer with all your heart and truthfully: Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe in my heart that Jesus died for my sins and You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord, and I receive Him as my Lord and my Saviour. I DON’T WANT TO MISS HEAVEN! (I)

the-heavenly-throne

A throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne

It is such a displeasure to behold the exigent cry the followers of Christ exhibit concerning heaven. “O! I must make it to heaven. Arrhh! I don’t want to lose heavenly citizenship, Holy Spirit please help my spiritual infirmity.” And they, quite unbelievably, profess to be God’s own begotten Christians when asked, “Are you born again?”

Imagine the disciples of Jesus querulously doubting a place for them in heaven, even after Jesus had breathed the breath of the Holy Ghost on them and had instructed them to tarry in Jerusalem until they were empowered. Is it not of truth that, “My people perish for lack of the knowledge?” They are unquestionably afraid of losing their salvation.

heaven4

In my stupefaction I have always asked, “How did you get born again?” A truly born again Christian will always answer, “I received Jesus as my Lord and Saviour.” Good. Well said. “How much did you have to pay and how did you catalyze this new birth?” The truthful answer is, “Well….nothing.” It should be clear to all and sundry that the architect who designed the foundation and the eventual erection of the edifice is the one who can take the best care of the building. Henry Ford, no doubt, is the best person to talk to concerning your Ford car.

Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our lives, is the only One who can preserve the soteriological rebirth of our spiritual lives. He perfected the sanguineous Calvary rituals. And all that is expected from an individual is just to believe. “For God so loved the world……..whosoever believeth in him…..perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

The word ‘loved’ is agapaō (ag-ap-ah’-o): Perhaps from ἄγαν agan (much); ‘to love (in a social or moral sense).’ It is the verb form of agapē (ag-ah’-pay) which is: ‘affection or benevolence; specifically (plural) a love feast.’ It can only be this, unconditional, kind of love that the Divinity must employ to wash away all our iniquitous inclinations. Jesus paid the price. He proved His magnanimity with, “It is finished.” The perfect tense ‘finished’ is: teleō (tel-eh’-o): ‘to end, that is, complete, execute, conclude, discharge (a debt) fulfil i.e. to pay; of tribute.’

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord

One of the fear of losing God’s salvation is based on righteousness, which has slipped from the hands of man. How can you forget so easily, that one of the names of our God is Jehovah Tsidkenu: The LORD our righteousness? The righteousness is not our own; He wraps us in His own righteousness, making us righteous as well. “In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS” [Jeremiah 23:6].

1Corinthians

The epithetic ‘THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS’ in Hebrew is: yehôvâh tsidqênû (ye-ho-vaw’ tsid-kay’-noo) Strong’s Definition: From Jehovah and tsedeq (tseh’-dek) with pronominal suffix; Jehovah (is) our right; Jehovah-Tsidkenu, a symbolical epithet of the Messiah and of Jerusalem.’ Tsedeq (tseh’-dek) means ‘the right (natural, moral or legal); also (abstractly) equity or (figuratively) prosperity.’  Jehovah means: I AM THAT I AM or the self-existing God (One who iexists by His own power). This LORD is none other than ‘The BRANCH’ of the preceding verse. This is Jesus.

Colossians 3-4 Christ Our Life-golden

“For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4) When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory” [Colossians 3:3-4]. The word ‘hid’ is kruptō (kroop’-to) to conceal (properly by covering).’  The righteousness that marks us out as Christians is veritably a clothing and Jesus is essentially the covering. We do not have in our possession any inherent righteousness. And the reality on the scriptural ground is that only this same Jesus has the capability of the competence to keep us in this state of Godly righteousness. We have the same life as Jesus for we are, in the strictest sense, in this righteous journey together for it says that: “Christ, who is our life.” Amen.
