Soteriology: Eternal Design Of Divinity (one)

1)            Specific Terms and Conditions (T&C) are the applications of theological realities accounting for the rehabilitation of the fallen Adamic personality. The council of the Godhead, before the creation of any intelligent being, decided that this particular entity of creationism, Adam, no matter how grievous his sinfulness, should be saved. When He hollered, “Adam, where art thou” was it intended for the male Adamic person only? The answer is both yes and no. Yes in the sense that the male Adam was the head of humanity, trusted with its lordship. It is safe to be a ‘no’ as well. No, it was directed at the pristine couple. How I know this is a protocolary couch found in Genesis 1:27 “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” Adam, from this scriptural understanding, is a generic word for a human being. What differentiates one of the pristine couple from the other is simply of their gender – Adam the male, the husband and the head of humanity, and Adam the female, the help mate created for the man in his missionary work. Jehovah did not ask to know where Adam was out of ignorance, it was a Fatherly, “Oh, you shouldn’t have ventured into this misrepresentation of your heavenly Father!”

His goings forth: from of old, from everlasting (Micah 5:2).

                The eternal Father could not have been taken by surprise. He had known this before they were created. Blessedly, God had taken precautions; was ready for this eventuality; definitely, knew He was not going to lose either of these two Adamic prototypes. The first term of conditionality intrinsically designed for his – Adam’s – survival was admittance of guilt. If Adam would not flaunt his shortcoming on earth, like Lucifer did in heaven, then the propitiatory lambs were of readiness for their restoration based purely on a T&C of fugacity. Agreeing to the perpetration of ungodly, sinful act is tantamount to asking for divine help. Arrogance will always stand in opposition to seeking divine offer of mercy.

                Right there in the Garden of Eden, the eternal designs began to take shapes. This revelation I am sharing here makes me appreciate Pastor Chris Okotie’s didactic insistence that Israel has a subtle mention in the Eden fall.

                Did God not know that Adam would fall into sin? When He walked into Eden, the first thing God did was to call out, “Adam, where art thou?” not to the destruction of the Adamic elevation, but He was on a mission of restoration of Adamic elevation, according to His eternal design – you may want to read my post titled “ADAMIC ELEVATION [1]” https://hoojewale.com/2022/08/12/adamic-elevation-1/ you will enjoy the exhaustive nine parts. Adam was not spared though, he received his due punishment. His punishment did not stop him from receiving the grace of a beneficent second chance. The second chance was the sacrificial animals of atonement which focused grandly on the cross of Calvary. Adam ran to hide himself behind the fig tree, a pointer to where the true salvation must be sourced: for Jesus Christ hanged on the tree as the Lamb of God, and as an Israelite in the consummation of soteriological actuality.

Adamic fall did not destroy man totally.

                It was important that God should be the first to evangelize the gospel of Genesis 3:15 “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.” Divinely allowed are the two forces of good and evil. Why evil must be given an existence is simply a matter of legality. God implanted free moral agency in every intelligent being. The exploitation of freewill becomes a legality which falls under the act of divine scrutiny; and to be penalized whenever it runs contrary to God’s will. The decision of angelic beings to believe and follow the machinations of Lucifer gave Satanism its right of existence in the sight of the Majestic Judge of the celestial assizes. If Adam, when he had the dominion of the world in Eden, had completely shunned Satanism, the dream of Lucifer would have faced immediate destruction. Adam unfortunately did not realize that, if he should wield his free moral agency in disobedience to the Word of God, he definitely will be queueing himself behind evil as its supporting puppet. Evil, having been officially established on terra firma, could exist side by side with eternally established good. The evangelism of Genesis 3:15 vaticinates the eventual emergence of the Antichrist, the evil son of the Devil, who will rule the earth. The rule of this evil son, whose activities had caused the death of Jesus Christ, will not last; Jesus Christ must come a second time to utterly destroy satanic rule over the world. Daniel 2:44 “In the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.” This is a divine decision from the eternal past.

                Getting born again is a conscious effort on the part of an individual. Get born again. Say this sinner’s prayer.

“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”

MORNING STAR (2)

2)            None is appropriately the Bright and Morning Star save Jesus Christ; the prophetic Emmanuel Incarnation of Scriptural afflatus. Revelation 2:28 “And I will give him the morning star.” When Jesus makes this kind of declaration, He is speaking as the Christ who is the Second Member of the Godhead. Is Jesus not the Morning Star? If He should promise to give you morning star, then, what Jesus Christ is promising is His very divine self! And that gives Him the divine right of being ‘God above all’. Remember Romans 8:17, which reads, “And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.” To be God’s heir is to receive God Almighty Himself as your inheritance. Ponderous, this is. And it is exactly what the Lord Jesus is affirming in Revelation 2:28. I do not know whether any right thinking Godly person would like to be a recipient of a fallen star of Lucifer. Those who would contend for the evil spirit of Lucifer, the Devil himself, must inevitably be the baptized members of the arcane society of Satanism. The Devil cannot, in any conceivable way, be of the divinity known of the Morning Star. 

                Those who believe that Lucifer is the Morning Star do miss a crucial point. He, the Devil, is described as the ‘son of the morning’. His sonship makes him an object of creationism, ergo, he cannot be the True Light or Morning Star. There are no beings that stand in equality with the Creator. Only the Members of the Godhead stand in equality. When objects of creation tend to bear certain cognominal semblance with the Creator it is only a depiction of the affinity of Divine sufferance. Amen! The term ‘son’ found in Isaiah 14:12 is ben (bane) ‘(used widely) a son (as a builder of the family name)’. Unfortunately, Lucifer would rather stage the first coup in God’s celestial home – which tends to vitiate the rule in the empyreal home of the Trinity. So, who is this ‘son of the morning’? He broke himself satanically away from the Creator. The Scripture reveals him for the first time in Genesis 3:15 “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.” This, theologically, is the proto-evangelium (first evangelism), foretelling the eventual emergence of the Antichrist – who will be empowered by Lucifer, his evil father – and inevitably be destroyed by Jesus Christ. Lucifer only served as the Light bearer; the veridical essentiality, bearing the eternality of illumination is the Lord Jesus Christ.

All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me

                In the Book of Luke 4:5-7, “And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. 6) And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. 7) If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.” These verses prove that Lucifer is the god of this world. 2Corinthians 4:4 “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” Two people are seen in this verse: the god of this world, Satan the Devil and Christ, the Word of God and also the Second Member of the Godhead. There, therefore, is an eternal difference between the ‘son of the Morning’ – Lucifer – and the ‘Bright and Morning Star’ – the Lord Jesus.

                Get born again. Say this sinner’s prayer.

“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”

HE IS IN FULL CONTROL (Part one)

1)            You may be an atheist, Buddhist, Hindustan, Islamist, Humanist, Judaist or a church going person. There may, also, be diverse thoughts concerning creation. What is certain is that One Personage did bring all that is in existence into being. Elements, compounds, structures, animalia and intelligent lives of beings were His creations.

            While, as the Bible teaches, the atheist is long lost in spirituality, and the Humanist is groping in abject deficiency in his spiritual connection with his Maker, other forms of religious affiliated ones ascribe creation to this Being as myopia allows. The Bible gives His name as JEHOVAH. He spoke face to face with Moses, the prophet and first leader of Israel. “And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven” [Exodus 17:14]. “And the LORD said unto Moses, Write thou these words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel” [Exodus 34:27].

The Bible reveals in Exodus 33:11, “And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle.” We also read from the Pentateuch in Deuteronomy 34:10, “And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face:” to prove the creationism account of the Scripture to be true.

            God recreated the terra firma for mankind. “The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men” [Psalm 115:16]. He gave him freedom. “And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:” [Genesis 2:16]. This 16th verse is the biblical proof of Adamic free moral agency. Man’s dominion is not in question, albeit, the ultimate control was not in Adam’s hands. “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die” [Genesis 2:17]. The Limiter is the One in full control. “Yes, dear son Adam, you have dominion, but to give you full control of your life will put you in an egregious jeopardy,” God probably mused in Adam’s ears.

The fall of the pristine parents

            And, drop the ball, Adam did. If he had been in full control of everything, the tempter would have assumed the role of ‘the winner takes all’ in the victory of his Pyrrhic and fugacious change of power. God made sure that the sinfulness of evil must occur in His earthly home, Garden of Eden. He has every right into His home. He, legally speaking, did not relinquish His ultimate control of terra firma to Adam by the codicil found in Genesis 2:17. Adam died spiritually. His wife died alongside his walking cadaver stance. The deceptive Lucifer had been billions of years dead –spiritually. Where were they? In God’s house. Remember 1Peter 4:17, about where God’s judgment should commence?

To save the earth from another cataclysm, the Living, sinless God had to manifest, to prove who is in absolute control. He did not only judge the wrong doers, He gave a calendar of salvation in His protevangelium of Genesis 3:15 “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.” In sending them away, for whom the earth was made, He established the fact of their dead situation. Death, as a matter of fact, is to be cut off from the presence of God. As more were born into the world, walking cadavers increased.

Adam lost the human glory

            We may not have the physical location of Eden again but that can never make Him lose control of the earth. Satan thought he had firm control, having executed a successful putsch against the dominion of Adam, and especially having, as his global priest, Cain, the very first born of Adam’s family. The Genesis 3:15 spoken word of God found a germination in Seth: for in his days men began to call upon the name of the Lord. God must save the world to prove His firm control so eight souls were the surviving evangelists of His coming.

                Again, the emergence of Nimrod gave Satan an impression of riding a huge stallion of victory not knowing that he was crawling on the back of a cockroach (a Pyrrhic victory)! Abraham took the word of God across the Euphrates. He saw the physical manifestation of Him in Genesis 18; why not? Abraham was a bona fide friend of God. He passed the baton to Isaac, who needed not see the physical manifestation of the LORD God.

                Man has always been a bad manager of his life. Let God be in control of your life for proper management. Get born again. Say this prayer, meaning it:

“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”
