(…continued from the 1st part..)

The unfortunate, heartbreaking truth is that denominational leaders have sown Satan inspired doctrines in the hearts of already vengeful laity. Answer this simple question. Who is powerful, God or the witches backed by Satan and all the demons and even the hellish inmates if they will be released just for a day?

Christians just do not know the God they serve. For if they do, He will not tell them to pray, do good and bless enemies and they will, for a fraction of a second try to doubt or act contrarily. God alone, (in all the 58 times) in scripture, has the title, ‘Almighty’. The Hebrew calls it shadday (shad-dah’-ee) ‘almighty, most powerful’; it comes from shadad (shaw-dad’) properly ‘to be burly, that is, (figuratively) powerful (passively impregnable); by implication to ravage’. In the Greek, it is: pantokratōr (pan-tok-rat’-ore): ‘the all ruling, that is, God (as absolute and universal sovereign)’; it comes from two roots of: pas (pas): ‘individually; each, every, any, all, the whole, everyone, all things, everything’; & kratos (krat’-os): ‘force, strength; power, might: mighty with great power; a mighty deed, a work of power, dominion’. With these defined information what, which and whose strength matches God’s, especially when you see it in the light of pantokratōr? Reverend Chris Okotie explains pantokratōr thus: “Target any distance in your wildest dream, and pantokratōr surpasses it far by far. Also think of hydrogen bomb and all the intercontinental ballistic missiles, put them together and they do not come close to His Almightiness”.

I have always asked whether they do not sin at all who pray prayers of vindictiveness. You say in prayer to a perceived enemy, “die, die, die!” Another person you offend without being conscious of it prays a similar prayer. You are in trouble! A lady (pastor’s wife) from Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministry told me, “We’ve been told to always ask for forgiveness before any ‘fire’ & ‘die’ prayer”. So, word has gone around?! So, it is truly hard for one to kick against the pricks? (Acts 9:5).

My people use scripture to tie an enabling cord of legitimacy for their “die, enemy die” prayer. For anyone to use, “Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live” (Exodus 22:18), to exculpate his scriptural vindictive stance is a proof of his ignorance of scripture. Jesus taught in Matthew 5:44, “But I say unto you…” (the preceding verse says, “Ye have heard of old…”); to make good disciples of us. The Sermon on the Mount dealt with man’s spiritual ailments.

To make matters worse they drill their stubborn teeth deep into Matthew 11:12, “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force” to legalize their jihadist stance. A good study of this verse will take you to the preceding verse in order to put it in proper scriptural context (whether by omission or commission, pastors do jettison the context of scripture when they teach it). The violent act is not only spiritual, it is in strict connection with the entrance of the Kingdom of God i.e. getting born again! It is not an excuse to curse your enemy. Will Jesus contradict Himself? Can any apostolic couch supersede Christ’s (the very express Word of God) established pronouncement?

A good Christian ought not to be afraid of the devilish machinations of witchcraft practitioners because Jesus who taught in Matthew 5:44 can save us and also because 1Corinthians 1:24 says “But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.” Jesus has both power and wisdom to take care of those who trust and believe in Him. In Luke 6:35, Jesus reiterates, “But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.” The word ‘enemy’ is the same echthros as in Matthew 5:44. ‘Do good’ is one word, agathopoieo (ag-ath-op-oy-eh’-o) ‘to be a well-doer (as a favor or a duty)’. The word ‘reward’ is misthos (mis-thos’) ‘payment for service (good or bad)’. You do not only please the Lord praying for the enemy, you receive a misthos for the good act. It is up to you, I believe.

For those who would not love to pray for rulers 1Timothy 2:1-6 says “(1) I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; v. 2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. V. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; v 4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. v 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; v 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.” Verse four, “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” (…to be concluded…)

love enemies

It is truly appalling, almost unfathomable when I hear adherent Church going, spirit-filled, tongue speaking Christians show this morbid hatred for conceived enemies, especially, the evil minded people of witchcraft. The leadership of most ecumenical assemblage have structured the laity for a certain ‘Christian Jihad Movement’ against fellow human beings. The Bible does not even allow you to be too angry with other people, “Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:” [Ephesians 4:26].

The grouse is, “If I do not strike the enemy down first he will grow in a more destructive strength of wickedness against me”. They will go on a marathon fasting and prayer days of, “My enemies die! The man or woman standing or sitting upon my promotion, die! The enemy in my maternal or paternal family, I come against you, die, in the name of Jesus!” In a popped, wide eyed anger, some will even say, “I want this current government of this nation of ours to fail,” still praying in Jesus’ mighty name. They fail to see the contents of 1Timothy 2:1-2, “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, [and] giving of thanks, be made for all men; (2) For kings, and [for] all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty”.

I know what Jesus admonished in Matthew 5:44, “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.” ‘Love’, as it comes out in this verse is: agapaō (ag-ap-ah’-o): Perhaps from ἄγαν agan (much) ‘to love (in a social or moral sense)’; [it is the verb form of agapē (ag-ah’-pay): ‘love feast’, which is compared with ‛agab (aw-gab’) to breathe after, that is, to love (sensually)].’

‘Enemy’, from the verse, an adjective, is echthros (ech-thros’) and means: ‘hateful (passively odious, or actively hostile); usually as a noun, an adversary (especially Satan)’. The enemy Jesus is pointing out here and teaching us to agapaō is a fellow human being who is bent on wrecking your life. ‘Bless’, in Greek is: eulogeō (yoo-log-eh’-o) ‘to speak well of, that is, (religiously) to bless (thank or invoke a benediction upon, prosper)’. The word ‘curse’ is kataraomai (kat-ar-ah’-om-ahee): ‘imprecate evil upon; to execrate; by analogy to doom’. The verbal ‘do’, poieō (poy-eh’-o) is: ‘to make’; while a modifying ‘good’, kalōs (kal-oce’): (an adverb) means, ‘well (usually morally)’. ‘Hate’, which comes from the root misos (hatred), is: miseō (mis-eh’-o): ‘to hate, pursue with hatred, detest’. Proseuchomai (pros-yoo’-khom-ahee) is the Greek for ‘pray’, which is, ‘to offer prayers; supplicate God’. ‘Despitefully use’ is epēreazō (ep-ay-reh-ad’-zo): ‘to insult, to treat abusively, to revile, in a forensic sense, to accuse falsely; to threaten; slander’; while the word ‘persecute’ is diōkō (dee-o’-ko) ‘to make to run or flee, put to flight, drive away, pursue’.

You either believe Jesus and His word or reject His divine didacticism! Period!

A member of a church called Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministry defended their imprecatory prayer of “Let my enemy die” with this resultant experience. “We prayed for an elimination of senior staff of our church member, who was constantly ruling against her promotion. After two weeks the offending boss died and our sister got her overdue promotion”. She looked at me and asked, “What about that?” I began by reminding the lady that they had gone on a spiritual excursion which was diametrically opposed to the express teaching of our Lord Jesus. Second, they have decided to rely totally on experience to explain away the scriptures; forgetting that Satan is so adroit in concocting phenomenal encounters. Number 3 is that it runs contrary to Romans 12:20, “Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.” You have arrogated judicial jurisdiction of Divinity to yourself equaling the Satanic desire that earned him a celestial castaway. The Lord your God expects you keep your moral part of the spiritual bargain.

Another Christian of the Christ Apostolic Church denomination, in a very touchy voice and grave mien, did not want me to forget in a hurry that the ones we are discussing here are the very cruel witches whose determination is to destroy absolutely! He was shaking involuntarily as he poured forth his heart, “These people, when they are plotting their evil machinations against you they carry out their concoctions behind you!” I made it clear that I understood where he was coming from.
