“I am Alpha and Omega, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.”

3) The commencement of Jesus’ introduction of Himself is ‘I am,’ ego eime in Greek. Ego eime is the Hebrew translation of hayah (haw-yaw), meaning: ‘to be, exist.’ It is the shortened, covenant name of God, I AM THAT I AM.
Jesus does not stop there at Ego eime, but has to leave none in doubt of who is being introduced. The introduction continues with ‘Alpha kai Omega.’ The Greek ‘Alpha’ has the definition of: ‘the first letter of the alphabet: figuratively only (from its use as a numeral) the first.’ The next word is Ō (o’-meg-ah): ‘The last letter of the Greek alphabet, that is, (figuratively) the finality.’ As the Alpha, Jesus is the preeminent word of God; and without Him God the Father says nothing –what is there to discuss outside the LOGOS? As the Omega, Jesus is the finality of creationism. After Jesus, there is absolutely nothing to say theologically. He is the Logos, the totality of God’s thought, idea, reasoning and intention.
His Alpha and Omega stance underscores His ubiety. Every letter in-between the first and last letters is actually Him. How do I know this fact? Ephesians 1:23 says specifically of Jesus, “Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.” JFB Commentary expounds that, ‘filleth’ in the Greek couch actually reads, “filleth for Himself.” The word ‘filleth’ is the Greek pleroo (play-roh’-o) meaning: ‘1. to fully, completely fill 2. (literally) to cram (a net), level up (a hollow) 3. (figuratively) to fully supply, satisfy, execute (an office), finish (a period or task), verify (or coincide with a prediction), etc.’
Many verses verify the Ephesians 1:23. Ephesians 3:19 “And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.” The word ‘passeth’ is the Greek huperballo (hoop-er-bal’-lo): ‘1. to throw beyond the usual mark 2. (figuratively) to surpass (only active participle supereminent);’ and the abstract noun ‘knowledge’ is gnosis (gno`-sis): ‘knowing (the act).’ No love, save that of Jehovah God, passes knowledge; Jesus, ergo, is very God of very God. Amen. “He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things” (Eph 4:10). Who went down the earth? Jesus. Who ascended, historically, from death to the heavenly assizes? Jesus Christ! John 1:10, “He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.” Why? The ‘god of this world’ (Lucifer) has had their eyes securely blinded (2Corinthians 4:4) in order to keep them in the gulag of Satanism.
Colossians 1:19 “For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;” Colossians 2:9-10 “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10) And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power.” The word ‘complete’ is pleroo (play-roh’-o) meaning: ‘1. to fully, completely fill 2. (literally) to cram (a net), level up (a hollow) 3. (figuratively) to fully supply, satisfy, execute (an office), finish (a period or task), verify (or coincide with a prediction), etc.’ in this context the third definition of ‘to fully supply, satisfy, execute (an office), finish (a period or task),’ is very appropriate.Colossians 3:11, “Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all;” where the adjective ‘all’ is pas (pas`) and means: (including all the forms of declension) ‘all, any, every, the whole.’
Rid your mind of unscriptural thoughts. Get born again. Say this simple prayer, believing it with all your heart. Say:
“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”
