Is there a real need for marriage as the lamb had finally broken out of the matrix? Technically speaking, it is really not a must to give birth to many children. When God commanded the replenishing of the world, it was the eventual incarnation of Christ, the Redeemer, God had His divine mind on. Any unexpected, evil mishap can happen to any child. The conjugal gist is definitely all about Jesus! Amen!
In Genesis chapter two the LORD said, “I will make him an help meet for him.” But this time around, the same LORD asseverated, “I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” [Matthew 16:18].
I agree, absolutely, with Reverend Chris Okotie that Jesus said, “gates of hell shall not prevail against it because,” according to the Reverend, “the gates of Satanism did prevail once: in the Garden of Eden.”
I know that in Eden, Adam, the head of the first human marriage, stupidly capitulated, placing the institution at the machinating mercy of Lucifer. The Eden conjugality had its reins in the hands of inconsiderate Adam. He could not see through the shenanigan manipulations of satanic presence. They had ganged up against the incautious man of God’s established fraternization with mankind. Little did Adam know that his illogical decision was atypical to his LORD’s vision. The first marriage was “an help meet for him.” Sadly he could not “keep it” as in the Hebraic shâmar (shaw-mar’): ‘protect’ of Genesis 2:15. That of Matthew 16:18 “I will build my church;” lies deeply rooted, in eternal firmness, in the Divine hand of Christ.
If the resurrected Church, now espoused to Jesus, who is the King of kings, Lord of lords, the Almighty, everlasting Father, the soon coming King, the Word of God, the only begotten, who comes from Edom with dyed garments, seated at the right hand of Majesty on high, is what the conjugal gist is all about, tell or show me who dares take away His bride? Impossibility! He is the resurrection. He is before all things, and by him all things consist [Colossians 1:17]. For He is before all things (created), He, definitely, was not of creationism. Only God has eternal existence predating creationism. So, when Jesus says, “the gates of hell shall not prevail,” He is referring to His conjugal relationship with the Church. Amen!
Has divorce any say in Christ’s conjugal relationship with His saints? His words of scripture expressly asseverate, “…..as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee” [Joshua 1:5] confer: to Jacob (Genesis 28:15), to Israel (Deuteronomy 31:6 & 8), to Joshua (Joshua 1:5) and to Solomon (1Chronicles 28:20). Jehovah went into a covenant with them, and had to assure them. These are the truthful words of a true Husband.
A proof that His character never approves divorce is captured in the prophetic Isaiah 50:1, “Thus saith the LORD, Where is the bill of your mother’s divorcement, whom I have put away? or which of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have ye sold yourselves, and for your transgressions is your mother put away.” Mark 10:4-12 frowns Jehovah’s eternal visage on divorce, ergo, He will never even think of it. He forbids a woman doing the same, so, the LORD God will forever keep the born again bride in the ecumenical flock.
Matthew 28:20 records the Lord’s words on the eternal security of our salvation, saying, “Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” We the Christians are dwellers of a better covenant in that the testament in force is the testacy engendered by the Living Testator, the Almighty, who was, who Is, and, is to come.
“Upon this rock I will build my church;” Jesus told Peter whose name is defined as ‘a piece of rock,’ in its Greek rendition of petros. ‘Rock,’ in the same verse, is ‘petra,’ which is a boulder –a rock as huge as the rock of Gibraltar. Jesus is the ‘Rock of ages.’ Peter, like any other Christian, is a stone, used in the building of the glorious Church. The Church is strictly God’s business. Will God allow Lucifer to prevail against His business, the Church? Certainly not! This is what the conjugal gist is all about.
You can be part of the conjugal gist by being born again. Say this prayer from your heart, believing every word. Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe in my heart that Jesus died for my sins and You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord, and I receive Him as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory, Amen. (…to be concluded…)
